Pewter Town is a small village in the North West corner of Kanto. Surrounded by forest and home to the recently discovered Fist Gem. The area has quickly become known for fighting Pokemon and many Trainers who specialize in Martial Arts and Boxing have moved to the quickly growing Town. Pallet Town is located to the South.

"My name is Mary Von Paige; b-but don't say that! C-Call me Marvie!"
The pink-haired boy entered the small village with his pokemon following behind him. Marvie was just going to go cash in his pink gem he found back home. "Well guys, here we ware; Pewter City. Kinda nice and cozy don't you think?" He smiled at his pokemon, all of which were glaring at him since he didn't allow any of them to rest in their pokeballs during the trip from Mt.Silver's base to the city. The teen frowned and fixed his jacket,"Hey, don't be like that. You guys had to train you know? If we find some baddies and you weren't strong enough, who knows what would've happened." Ironically, in everyone else's eyes they'd be considered the 'baddies'. After all Team Alchemy seemed sort of radical with their stance on peace.
The group took a small tour around the town, noticing the Fist gym and even the museum. After a small trip to the local jeweler's shop the team went to the Poke Center to rest up. There Marvie fed everyone and waited as he decided on what to do next. He sat on a cushion and was holding Toge in his arms like usual,"Well guys, the orders were to get to Mt.Moon. But there's a fist gym here, don't we need to just get gems to help out Team Alchemy?" The pansage nodded at her trainer as she continued to snack on the pokemon food."Well...if we beat the gym then we get a gem or something. That'd help right?" Marvie groaned, wonder why being apart of an organization like Team Alchemy was already getting complicated.

" Yes, but yours is a special mission. " Spoke voice behind him, He smiled as his yellow scarf moved with the wind in the building. The leader of Team Alchemy had also arrived in town to see if the mission was going as planned, But his mate was standing there and thinking about going to the gym. It was an interesting moment for him, but he smiled as he approached the boy before he spoke again. "Marvie was it? " spoke the leader as he approached him. " Letting your pokemon rest and heal is a good way to win battles, Since my generals are rough with new members... well, I make a point to introduce myself. My name is Jeff Marcus, mind if we talk? "

Marvie glanced over to the scared man, wondering exactly what he meant.'Oh hello, who might you be?" He didn't know exactly who this new person was, but it seemed like he was apart of Team Alchemy like himself. The scarfed man continued to talk and introduced himself- saying his general were too harsh."Huh, so Oberon is a general or something..", he whispered to himself, referring to the man who introduced him to team Alchemy's whole purpose. He stood up, his Togepi still in his arms and gave a slight nod,"Hello Mr.Marcus." Compared to Jeff (or most people in general) Marvie towered over him.

Jeff smiled as he nodded back at him, looking down at his togepi before smiling. " Greetings... " spoke The leader of team Alchemy as he looked back up at Marvie, looking him over for a moment before motioning his hand. " Please sit... I like to talk to you for a bit. " Spoke Mr. Marcus before a pair of blue ears popped up and a Sylveon moved it's head to look at him, it was a shiny but it was resting comfortably. He walked around Marvie before finding a comfortable seat, taking it before looking back at him as the Sylveon climbed out and into his lap. " I'm sure you got some questions and stuff, my generals and recruiters don't say much. " Spoke Jeff with a warm smile, showing him that he was not a bad person... if first impressions sucked, he made a habit of making the second expressions better.

Marvie nodded and sat back down,"Sure," The teen set togepi back down, the other two pokemon jumping up to join their trainer. Once the sylveon popped out the Togepi reacted to it and glared at it. Marvie paid no attention to his pokemon and fixed his clothes," Well I think I got a fairly good idea on the who Team Alchemy thing; go to Mt.Moon, search those mountains, that sorta stuff. Apparently gems are in need?" He knew all this from the man known as Oberon before; the man who seemed to cast some sort of aura that wanted him to follow him.

Jeff smiled at the trainer's keen senses, he would make a good member if the poor guy was also not confused about his mission. Well he was going to remind him of his mission in case he forgot or if he didn't know. " It's good that your following your orders, but at the same time... I fear you don't know why your going there. " Spoke Jeff as he leaned back and looked out the window for a bit before looking at him, smiling as he spoke to him. " Your mission is to go to Mt.Moon and search the mountain... But What they didn't tell you is what your searching for exactly, Your looking for Moons stones. A large amount of moon stones was found there,but there are several trainers with gems there. " Spoke Jeff as he reached into his coat pocket and tossed him a small box, smiling at him as he spoke. " For this mission your going to need extra power if you want to succeed on this mission, I expect it back when your mission is completed. "

Marvie nodded as Jeff explained to him his mission. He still had yet to inform him exactly who he was but from what it sounded like, he was one of the higher ups in Team Alchemy. With the information in mind, the pink haired teen smiled and stood up, his pokemon following suit.'Got it sir, so to Mt.Moon then?" He already was packing his things back up to head out to the mission but was stopped by the yellow scarfed man,"Hmmm..?" The teen managed the catch the box before it hit the ground holding it up and inspecting it."Extra power? Do you mean a rare candy or something?" He opened the box and his eyes widened,"Oh wow, thank you sir!" With that he bowed and headed off to the route, planning on giving his pokemon the candy later.

Jeff smiled as he knew that in the box contained not a rare candy... but 5 of them. with a warm smiled he nodded to Marvie before sighing, looking down to his Sylveon and scratched behind the shiny pokemon's ear. He had long day ahead of him but he was going to relax while he could, maybe there was a restaurant near by? sighing again as he scratched sylveon's head, the pokemon jumped back onto his shoulder and snuggled up in the scarf again. there was so much to do, but as a leader of the whole group... he had mountains of paperwork to do, but he also had a few things he needed to do out of base... looked like he was going to be busy for a while.
Standing up and walking out of the pokemon center, he reached into his shoulder backpack and pulled out a amulet coin. Looking at it for a moment, he softly whipped it off and put it on. There was always new trainers coming in, some were not even his members... so they were good practice for sylveon, but he had to continue to play cool as he walked out of town.

It was cold early morning in Pewter City due to it located in mountainous area. Even the water that Lacie rung out from the mop chilled her. "It's cold," Lacie bitterly said to no one. The gym was still empty at this time of the day, only a riolu was present. "Riolu?" Mythrill who stood on a stool with a rug on her arms stopped to look at her. "Aren't you cold,Mythrill?," Lacie asked back. The pokemon seemed to understand her as she shook her head. "Hmm...that's good then," was Lacie's respond as she started to mop the floor absent-mindedly. She guessed the pokemon had lived here long enough to not be bothered, maybe even born here and had never stepped outside far enough. One day, she would bring the pokemon out on a journey far away. Being a gem protector apprentice was merely a starting point for her.
Mythrill looked dejected at her trainer lack of response however. Her trainer tend to keep to herself at times. Especially when she seemed to be thinking about something that her trainer won't speak about.

After finishing her morning training, Lacie exited the gym with Mythrill. She didn't hesitate when she strolled down the street. There was a clear destination in her mind and she didn't stop to stare at the stores like she would back when she just came here. Mythrill silently followed her like she did for weeks already. The pokemon looked hesitant to interrupt Lacie's single mindedness.
". . ." Lacie was silent, but she was quite disturbed at her own pokemon obeying her unquestioningly. No, rather, it's good if it's only that. This past weeks she had been with Mythrill, the pokemon didn't interact with her like she saw her fellow trainee's pokemon did. There's a restrained atmosphere. She didn't know what's the problem yet, just that it made her unsure about how she should act and made her unable to express her own mind in turn.
The awkward silence stretch all the way until they reached the outskirt of Pewter City.
((OOC: Huzzah, my pokemon have personality...and a problem)) (( ...okay...there's no road to Mt. Moon or route out there. I guess I will just post it here in the mean time )) ((She is just out of the gate of pewter, feel free to interact with her))

Walking threw the street, he looked at the Girl and her pokemon. Sighing and shaking his head, he clicked his tongue twice to wake Sylveon up. As soon as Sylveon's head popped up, it jumped down and followed. Walking to the girl, he examined her and her pokemon closely. " Hey! Miss! " Spoke the yellow scarfed man as he made his way to her with his shiny Sylveon beside him. He was hoping to reach her before she made her way out, He was going to Masquerade as a expert trainer... a traveling teacher. It was something he was very good with, to be honest, he was told he was a great one.

Mytrill noticed the man first before Lacie did. The pokemon tugged Lacie's clothes to stop her. Startled, Lacie turned around. "What is it? oh!" she then noticed the man when the man greeted her. "Hello," she politely greeted back, "Is there something wrong?" the person wasn't someone she recognized, though she wasn't sure as she didn't remembered everyone in the gym and even less the resident.
Her gaze then drifted at the sylveon by the man's side. "Is that your sylveon? How cute!" she immediately crouched down to get a better view of the pokemon. "The color's different than the one I see in the book though," she said as she looked at the man for explanation.

Finally stopping before her, He huffed slightly to catch his breath. He looked at her pokemon before back at her with a smile, lowering down to the pokemon. " Hello there. " Spoke the yellow scarfed man, before standing back up to look at her. " My name is Dr. Marcus... I'm a Researcher of Fairy type pokemon. " Spoke Marcus as he reached down and petted his Sylveon, scratching behind the ear so he can purr. " Yep, I found him as a rare grey coated eevee. So in normal terms, this is what is known as a shiny Sylveon. " Spoke Marcus before Sylveon jumped onto his hands and walked to the scarf, making a nice place before snuggling inside of it. Looking back at her, he smiled to her warmly. " Pardon him, He is tired from walking all day... whats your name? "
