A Small port town with no known Gem currently. Many trainers choose to start their Journey from here and can receive a Pokemon from the local researcher if they need one. If trainers travel to the North they can go to Pewter Town as well as the mysterious Mt. Silver

Part 1: The Keeper of Pallet seems like he's been waiting for you. He shut his book the moment you walk into the room and sends a cold gaze your direction.
“So you've come.”
The Keeper seemed to lose whatever coldness he originally had when he gets closer.
“You're no doubt wondering why I asked you to come here. Or perhaps you already know it matters not. The reason you are here is that you're about to set out on a journey. Whatever journey you choose for yourself, you'll need a pokemon. As pokemon are the ultimate tool and friend mankind shall ever know.”
The Keeper steps outside expecting you to follow. He's a big man. Pallet town is small enough where he serves as the closest thing to a cop in town and like you he set out on a journey. Whatever happened during his journey made him strong.
“War has ended. It ended during my journey. I have faith that your journey will involve less bloodshed. Make no mistake though. You will face hardship. It's part of being alive. We all endure hardship and I believe this is the way of the world. Those who set out to become champions must be prepared to bleed. Those who set out to become breeders must be prepared to sweat. Those who set out to become researchers must be prepared to go without sleep. Whatever you choose, there will be hardship. It is not for me to decide your journey nor your first pokemon.”
The Keeper offers you a box, “Choose. Take as long as you like.”
The keeper will wait until you decide.
Part 2: (After your reply)
“I pray nothing short of success for you and your pokemon. You may begin your journey at any time you choose. This place is your home. At any time you feel the need to return it shall be here waiting for you. I am charged with this town's protection, feel no fear for it's safety. Perhaps in time Pallet will become a place where champions are born. And perhaps you may be one of the many champions born in a small place.”
The Keeper takes his leave and returns to the nearby main building. Without another word. And just like that the journey has started.

Jeff Marcus New Trainer: With Drifloom and Eevee Step to me
Stepping off the ramp, Jeff stepped onto the dock and looked around before stepping out of the way of the ramp. He was not going to get in the way of others, instead he got to the side and started to look around the area. Finally joining him was Eevee from her slumber. Despite sleeping in his scarf and hoody the entire trip here, Eevee was not full of energy and seemed to be ready to take on the world. Jeff just chuckled as he scratched Eevee's chin before he felt drifloom stir in his hood behind him, he let them sleep because they needed it. Jeff however could not sleep, so instead he stayed up and watched the ocean. Finally following the group that had left the ship, he looked around the area at the homes and stuff that were here. He was sent to look for someone. " Maybe we should look at the pokemon research center? Best place then any right? " Spoke Jeff as he looked back at Eevee and Drifloom, Eevee nodded but Drifloom seem to make a noise of concern. Petting Drifloom softly, Jeff's touch reassured Drifloom that it was okay. Finally nodding to him, Jeff nodded and made his way to the research center.

"Ouch!"
Felicity let out a small groan as she landed rather painfully on the shrub that grew directly underneath her bedroom window. Perhaps, she thought as she pulled twigs out of her hair, she should take the risk and stick with using the stairs next time. Having always been a clumsy person, she had to admit that deciding to climb out the window and sneak out was one of her less...spectacular ideas.
The afternoon sun shone bright and strong as she made her way onto the main road and began he short walk to the research centre. Now that she thought about it, perhaps she should have waited until it was dark to sneak out. That way, nobody would see her leave. The brunette mentally sighed and adjusted the strap of her messenger cap. Xavier was right -- she really had to work on her planning skills.
At the thought of her neighbour and best friend, a small smile curved onto Felicity's lips. She wondered what Xavier would say or do once he found out that she had sneaked out of her parent's house and run off to become a pokemon trainer. He'd probably chide her for making her parents worry. A light giggle escaped the young woman's lips as she turned on a corner of the street and continued her way. His chiding, of course, would have no effect on her. Once Felicity set her mind on something, there was no persuading her of otherwise.
A couple minutes later, Felicity arrived in front of the research lab in her town. Thank Arceus she had not bumped into anyone she knew on the way to her destiantion. It was somewhat surprising, considering the fact that Pallet Town was so small and so sparsely populated. However, she wasn't going to question or dwell on her luck -- there were more important things to do. After adjusting her cap and taking a deep breath, Felicty pushed the door open and entered the Pokemon Research Lab.
Despite usually being a bold and outgoing individual, the brunette felt all her energy and courage drain as she stepped into the building. "Hello?" she called out timidly. Her round brown eyes scanned the area, looking for someone... Anyone, to direct her words at. "I'm here to pick up my starter pokemon?"

Watching a young girl walking up to the door, taking a deep breath before entering the research buildling. Jeff smiled and shock his head as she seemed to be excited and full of energy today, but he was bold and strong too. Catching the door before it closed, Jeff opened it up and looked inside. Seeing no one was here before entering, wondering about what was happening. Entering the building with a drifloom floating out of his hoody, Jeff looked at the girl and spoke to her. " No one seems to be here, may I ask what are you doing here? "

Felicity had been to nervous (and excited) to realize that the door had not closed shut behind her, and that a young man had slipped inside the Research Lab too. Her eyes, orbs of warm brown, were busy scanning the lab for researcher whom she was told would present her with her first Pokemon. A long breath escaped the brunette's lips as she regarded the open space. There were boxes everywhere filled to the brim with papers. Tall shelves carried rows and rows of thick books. Large machines with colorful blinking lights whirred quietly.
Upon hearing a voice behind her, Felicity let out a small yelp and jumped in surprise. Being the ever clumsy girl, she managed to knock a box off the table that she was standing next to, causing its contents to spill out. A small groan escaped the brunette's lips as she watched the sheets of paper scatter across the otherwise pristine floor. A loud sigh followed the groan as she crouched down and began to pick up the pieces of paper. She hoped they had not been in a particular order.
It was when she picked up her third piece of paper that she remembered someone had spoken to her. Felicity gasped and stood up, only to come face to face with a young man wearing a long yellow scarf. She eyed him suspiciously, wondering who he was. He certainly didn't look like the researcher who gave out starter pokemon. What had he said to her? Oh right! He had asked her a question...
Placing the few pieces of paper that she had collected back into the box, Felicity then proceeded to put her hands on her hips. "I'm here to meet my starter pokemon." she said, replying to the stranger's earlier question. The young woman then narrowed her eyes."Who are you?" she asked. "You certainly don't look like the researcher who is giving out starter pokemon."
However, any animosity or suspicion disappeared when Felicity noticed the balloon pokemon that floated out of the young man's hoodie."Wow!"she exclaimed, leaning in closer to the stranger. "It's a drifloon! How cute!" The rest of the papers that were strewn on the floor laid forgotten by Felicity as she gushed over the trainer's pokemon.

Watching the yelp and jumped in surprise, Jeff could not help but let out a chuckle before shaking his head. This was amusing that he found a very young girl that was clumsy, sighing as he looked away and back to drifloom. Petting the drifloom for a moment, he looked back at her as she placed the papers in the box and asked him who he was. It was at this point, his Eevee crawled out of his scarf again and spoke to him. " Vee? Vee vee? " Spoke Eevee with a soft yet strong look in her eyes, turning her head to see the trainer before bearing her teeth. Jeff looked down at Eevee and kissed her head, turning her from aggressive to lovingly in like a split second. As the Eevee started to purr, He looked back at the girl who was looking at him and his drifloon. Letting drifloom land in his palm, he softly moved his hand to her. " You want to pet him? He is a very friendly one... Eevee on the other hand, Well... That is a story. " Spoke Jeff as Eevee brushed up against his neck and drifloom relaxed in his hand, preparing for her to touch him. " My name is Jeff, May I know yours miss? "
"LAND HO!" A sailor yelled as ship hit shore. All the passengers began to get off the ship. The last passenger to get off was Leroy and his Nidoran who was resting on his shoulder. The trainer sighed as he pulled out a flyer from his pocket. "*sigh* Pallet Town at last. It sure was a long right wasn't it Raphael?" He said looking at his partner on his shoulder. Raphael nodded quietly. Raphael was still rather tired from the long boat ride. Leroy's still has sealegs so he walked rather slowly for a while until it was alright. "Well alright let's get to town! I hope we can find someone who has information on where Pewter City is!"
An hour as passed and Leroy was in the heart of Pallet Town. He walked up to a couple of the locals but none of them were able to give him directions. One of them however, did give him directions to the local Pokemon Professor's laboratory. Who is also known as the Keeper of Pallet Town. There, he should be able to get the information he needs and maybe a rare Pokemon as well.
When he got to the building, he sees that two people are in front of the door just standing there chating away. "Excuse me." He said quietly as he slipped through the two and opened the door and walked in. The building seemed dimly lit so it was rather hard to make out where he was going. He found a well lit room with the door open. Inside was the Keeper of Pallet Town. He began to speak to Leroy. After his speech he game Leroy a pokeball containing a Charmander.

Xaiver extremely loud snoring was heard through out the Hanuel house hold as the blonde haired boy laid peaceful on the floor of his room.He had an acted of falling out of bed, He said it was because of his love for adventure but it was actually because he rolled around like no other.Suddenly a loud bang woke Xaiver as his bedroom door flew open and his mother began to yell at him for sleeping in.He had a blank look upon his face as he looked at his clock, soon his face turned from blank to a panic stat as he darted up from the floor.He quickly rushed to his dresser and got dressed before loading up his backpack with the items he would need on his adventure before bolting down stares.He looked at his mother who had made her way to the kitchen as he was getting ready and quickly gave her a kiss on the cheek before she handed him a piece of toast.
They said there goodbye quickly before he rushed out the door, the boy made it only a few feet from his house before tripping on his untied shoes slamming his face down into the dirt.He groaned a little before sitting up and rubbing his nose"Stupid shoes"He mumbled to himself as he tied his laces and began sprinting towards the research Lab a few minutes from his home.He bolted through the door"Am I late? did I miss the pokemon being handed out to new trainers?"He asked in a rather loud tone as he bent of trying to catch his breathe. Athletics was never his strong suit growing up most of the children around town used to poke fun at the fact that he was rather skinny and always opted out of playing games with them.
After a few moments he looked up from the floor and notice Felicity and another boy he had never seen before.He should have been a bit shocked to see Felicity there but it was always her goal to go out adventuring as a pokemon trainer."Why am I not surprised you are here"He smiled slightly as he spoke to Felicity before his mocha colored eyes shifted from Felicity to the other boy in the lab."Umm hello, I'm Xaiver nice to meet ya"He soon found himself staring at what he assumed was the boy's pokemon, Unlike most people he had zero Idea what the pokemon was he just knew it was a purple balloon type thing."So did I miss the pokemon being given out or am I on time?"He asked as he slowly began to run the dirt from his clothes completely missing the dirt all over his face from his little nose dive.

Looking back at the door, He watched as two people entered. Both where guys and one of them was ignoring them, the other smiled as he started talking to his friend. Jeff just smiled as he stepped away and let drifloom hover a bit, finally settling down in his hood behind him. As Drifloom brought it's hands inside Jeff's hood and falls asleep, Eevee looked at the new guy and growled before He grabbed her and cradled her. This made Eevee relaxed and purred softly in his hands, before looking up to the boy and spoke. " Nice to meet you too, Names Jeff. " He spoke as he looked around and spoke, checking something. " He is threw that door up ahead I believe, As a researcher I don't think he will be bothered but... you know." Spoke Jeff as he looked back to the boy while softly scratching Eevee's fur chest. " We may be here for a while, Might as well enjoy it. "

Walking into the back room, He faced the keeper and listened to his story while still cradling the Eevee in his arms. After listening to his story, Jeff spoke to him. " I'm sorry Sir... But my Intents are different then most. " Spoke Jeff as he looked down at the eevee in his arms, rubbing his nose against eevee's and moved it away before eevee could catch it in her paws. " My mission I want to go on is to restore the world, I know we lost too much around the world. Pokemon and people alike died in endless and brutal bloodshed we call war, But the war has weakened the connection between pokemon and humanity... My quest is to strengthen bold again. " Spoke Jeff at the protector, but was looking at eevee who was purring lovingly. Looking up at the protector, He smiled slightly before looking out the window. " Too much, Too fast. " Spoke Jeff before he shoot his head and looked at the protector of Pallet, Asking an important question. " Is there a Berry Farm left in this region? or was one never made? "
Braum was a man among men. He had done deeds that only a man with a mustache could do. Braum was ready to begin his new adventure alongside his old friend Chansey. Chansey was named Agatha and had been with Braum since he was born. When Braum broke through the mountain it was Chansey that greeted him as he busted through the mountain with a Numel in hand. Numel also came with Braum since Braum saved Numel when it was also trapped in the mountain. Numel kept Braum warm while Braum busted through the mountain and since that moment they bonded together quite well. Braum was supposed to receive a new partner today, another friend. Braum was a gentle as a snowflake to his friends, but to enemies he was an avalanche. Braum was always excited to make new friends, they always meant new adventures. Braum had traveled by foot from Pewter City all the way to Pallet Town. The journey was nothing for a man with a mustache like Braum though.
Braum approached a man about the same size as himself who seemed he was expecting the arrival of Braum. He shut his book and begun to stare directly at Braum. The man told Braum he was to set out on a journey which Braum already knew, but he was still nervous. Despite being a man of immense strength, and having a great mustache, he still had to protect his friends. If Braum wasn't around what would happen to Agatha or Numel? Braum was concerned about his friends, he felt obligated to protect the weak. He was gifted with a sturdy body and intended on using it to protect the weak. Out of the Pokemon the man offered there was a specific one that caught Braum's eye. It was Swinub, a Pokemon that was common in the mountains Braum grew up near. Braum had always liked Swinubs, but he didn't want to take any of them on his journey since most of them were too young. The Swinub offered however looked like it could hold it's own. Braum trusted the man that he wouldn't give out a Swinub that wasn't capable of handling its own. Braum picked up Swinub's Pokeball and called it out. The Swinub looked small and timid, but Braum could tell, it had a heart the size of Braum himself. Braum was glad the Swinub joined the team. Chansey, Numel, and Swinub all seemed to be perfect fits for Braum. Their journey as a family was soon to begin and Braum was no pushover in a battle either.

Felicity gasped in surprise when an eevee popped out from the stranger's scarf. She chuckled nervously as the fox pokemon sent rather agressive signals her way. However the eevee seemed to relax after being kissed by its trainer, which caused the brunette to smile. The strong bond between a trainer and his or her pokemon was something she admired her entire life, and something she wanted with her own pokemon in the future.
When the young man asked if she wanted to pet the Drifloon, Felicity nodded enthusiastically. A delighted smile appeared on her face as the balloon digimon purred under her gentle touch. The man then proceeded to introduce himself as Jeff, and ask for her name. However, before she could reply to the man's question, another young man stepped in. He had short jet black hair, and wore the clothing of a martial artist. Felicity watched as he made his way to a man that stood in the corner of the room. So there had been someone in the room after all! The young woman's face turned red as she wondered if he had seen her earlier mishap.
Felicity returned her attention to Jeff, determined to answer his question this time. However, she once again found herself being interrupted when Xavier Hanuel, her best friend and neighbor, burst into the Research Lab, asking rather loudly about starter digimon. The brunette let out another gasp, and her heart rate soared as she began to panic. Would he tell her mom that she had sneaked out to become a Pokemon trainer? He was such a good kid... Felicity shook her head. No -- Xavier was her bestfriend. He would never betray her.
An embarrassed giggle escaped her lips as Xavier greeted her. "Well, I thought it was finally time to take charge of my own life and become a Pokemon trainer." She replied, rather flustered. "Anyway, you didn't miss anything, Xavier. The man over there is giving out the Pokemon now. Oh and before I forget, it's nice to meet you Jeff! My name is Felicity." Then, without another word, Felicity made her way over to the Keeper of Pallet Town and tapped him lightly on the shoulder.

"Pokemon come on out!"
Standing outside the research lab, (Felicity decided to wait outside while Xavier finished up inside.) Felicity watched eagerly as the pokeball soared through the air before shooting out a bright red light. Ever the adventurous one, Felicity had decided to take a leap of faith and pick a random pokeball from the box. A delighted laugh escaped her lips as the red light disappeared, revealing a a fluffy sheep pokemon.
"Waah, a Mareep! How adorable!" she exclaimed as she bent down to give the pokemon a tight hug. "Mareep! Mareep!" she replied happily, already taking a liking to her trainer.
"I'm going to name you Kino, okay?"
"Mareep!"

Leroy Brave | Stubborn | Kind
Leroy nodded as the Keeper spoke to him. He then shook the Keeper's hand and went to exit the building. When he got out, he noticed that now there were three people waiting outside the building. He was confused why they were outside so he assumed that they thought the building was closed. "Hey uhh...the guy inside if you needed to see him." The trainer said awkwardly. He didn't want to sound like he was eavesdropping. One of the three then walked passed him and went in. But suddenly a giant man who was half naked and equipped with a HUGE mustache walked passed him and entered the building. "SWEET MOTHER NATURE! That guy was manly!"
When he turned to the group, he noticed that they all went inside to get their Pokemon. He then realized that they must have been locals so they probably knew where Pewter City was. While waiting for them, Leroy took out the pokeball that he just got. "Alright! Time to see what we got in here." He tossed the pokeball in the air and it shot out a ball of light. The Pokemon inside was a Charmander. A Pokemon with Dragon-like properties. The perfect companion for Leroy. He kneel down to get eye to eye contact with the Charmander. Nidoran jumped off Leroy's shoulder and started to inspect the Pokemon. The Fire Pokemon ignored the Nidoran and just smiled at Leroy. Leroy couldn't even resist to smile back. "Hey little guy. I'm going to name you .... Kuvam!" The Charmander ran up to Leroy and tackled him while hugging him. "Charmander Char!" Raphael ran towards Leroy as well like a group hug. "Oh man! So glad Juan isn't here to hug me as well." Leroy said jokingly since he didn't want to get cut.
The group of trainers finally exited the building. Leroy pulled out two the two pokeballs and returned his Pokemon to them. He got up and rubbed the back of his head as he looked at the ground. "Umm Hi. My name is Leroy Della Robbia and I'm looking for Pewter City. I want to meet the Gym Leader. Do you know where the city is?" He said awkwardly. Hoping that the locals were kind enough to help him.

Tera psyched herself up as the ferry approached its destination, her thumping up a storm in excitement. 'All right... We're here... I can do this!' She reassured herself as she started stretching before she disembarked the boat. "Yosha!... Ah!" She shouted in an attempt to shake off some nervousness. Noticing the volume of her battle cry had startled some, Tera lightly nodded with a hand behind her head as sign of apology to the other passengers leaving the ship and passerbys and headed to town. The ride was nerve-racking, but not because of the ride itself. The teen had been pacing around the watercraft all throughout the trip to Pallet Town, wondering about what was to come. It was her first time being away from her family for this long causing some uneasiness to mix in with her anticipation.
Much like her hometown of Verdanturf, there was simplicity in Pallet town's layout; it didn't have too many buildings to hinder the serene nature around it. It seemed like a place where everyone who lived here would know each other due to the close proximity and the small amount of infrastructure present which made it pretty easy for the navigationally impaired girl to find her way to the Pokémon Researchers House. Opening the house's doors with gusto, the enthusiastic girl entered the building. Upon closer observation, she noticed that some individuals had came before her, so she waited for her turn to speak to the keeper of Pallet. When it was finally her turn, her ears perked as the large man spoke, listening intently throughout his speech.
After carefully choosing which Pokémon she wanted from the box, Tera thanked the man and grinned at as his parting words. When the man had made his exit, the new trainer threw the Pokéball she just received into the air, releasing a blueish rock with tinier brownish rocks for feet from its hold. "Hiya! Name's Tera! Nice ta meet ya!" The Roggenrola jumped happily at her introduction, at least that's what she thought. She couldn't really make out his [removed](if it even had one!). "Now what ta name ya? Oyaji said that namin' ya'll strengthen our bond some." She didn't know if what her father had said was actually true, but now would be a better time than any to try it, right? Tera knelt down to pick up the newly obtained pokémon and observe his features more closely. What caught her attention were Roggenrola's yellowish trapezoids in his cavity. Hmm... With the wheels turning in her head, she found a name for him. "Ichi, ni... Roku? How's about I name ya Roku?" Gleeful sounding cries came from the rocky like pokémon, showing his acceptance of the nickname.
