Quote: Matron of Lavender Intro Quest Part 1:  The Matron of Lavender sits quietly in meditation. She seems not to hear you come in at first. Her assistant a small girl perhaps 8 years old by the look of her tugs on the Matron's shrine gown.
“My apologies dear, I seem to be lost in thought again.”The Matron stands. She is the owner of the orphanage. She keeps hundreds of young pokemon too young to fend for themselves. “In Lavender we honor the passed. Even pokemon deserve to rest in peace, dear. During the pokemon wars there were many pokemon that fell. Trainer and pokemon alike. It is because so many pokemon fell, that there are many young who could not fend for themselves. Too young for battle, we took them in. And in time they grow. I believe their parents would want that.”The matron offers you to join her a moment. “Step into our grounds. It's time for you to decide what it is that you want.”She leads you out a different door. After a short room you find yourself surrounded by pokemon. There were dozens roaming around. “Choose one. These pokemon are without family. Consider it duty to do what their parents could not. Care for them, guide them and teach them to be strong.” The Matron hands you a pokeball. You must go to a pokemon and convince it to join you. If the pokemon agrees to go with you it will not struggle to get out of the pokeball. You have all the time you need. Part 2: (After your reply) “So you've returned. That done, take this new member of your family and go see the world. Lavender is no cage. You must explore and see all that this world has to offer. Experience it all for yourself and in your own time. Find whatever it is you are looking for and hold it close.”The matron takes you back into the main entrance. “There will be a day when my Agatha goes out to the world as well. Perhaps it is my duty as a mother to let her go eventually, but even so. I've said goodbye to many others and I will say goodbye to even my own. All I ask is this. That whatever you set out to do on your journey, you remember your family. I will ask her the same when the time comes. When you are ready you may go.” The Matron returns to her place of study and just like that, you're ready to go anywhere.

Theodore sighed as he turned and began walking to the pokemon orphanage. He rubbed his head tieredly, "Maybe he is out at the orphanage..." Theo said as he sighed and walked patting his legs, "what to do, what to do, I want my polywhir but I can't find the man." He said in a slight tune with still a more frustrated look on his face instead of a tiered look. All he wanted was to get his starter so he could travel the world but he wasn't able to until he found the man. Whisteling a tune he pulled out his pokeball and pointed it towards the ground. "Ponyta!" He shouted as Ponyta came out and reared back bucking some. Climbing ontop of him Theo patted her butt as Ponyta began walking and he sat on her still whisteling. "OFF TO FIND THE OLD MAN, IN WHICH HE WILL GIVE US ARE STARTER!" He said smiling as he held onto Ponyta and they gently walked.

Theodore kicked on Ponyta's side as he shot off into a sprint. Smiling Theodore whistled happily as he began to race through the town not caring about to people around him even though he made sure not to hit them but had Ponyta dodged the citizens as the ponyta slowed down down to a hault and panted. Climbing off Theodore petted on Ponyta's side and he kissed his nose. "You are such a good racer!" He siad smiling as he stuck Ponyta into the pokeball and went inside the poke center and walked up to the PC smiling. Clicking on it he noticed he had mil and opened it up and began reading.
Dear Theodore,
Hey, its your mommy, how is my snooky boo!! I just wanted to say that the rest of the eggs your father hd left to you had FINALLY HATCHED!! OH THEY ARE SO CUTE TO! Just like you were when you would run around booty hanging out and play in the mud! I hope you are enjoying being back in your home town, and you better send me pictures of your cute little starter!! I stuck your new pokemon in your PC box and I wanted to say I love you my cute little Leaf!

Sighing and smiling he read over the email over and over not able to get over the fact she had already sent a email. Leaf was his nick name due to his green hair, and his mother was such a embarrassing mom but he loved her.

Checking his PC box Theo grinned pushing the button as one pokeball slowly formed in the holder. Picking it up he attached it to his belt, clicking and bringing out a second one he grinned as it slowly appeared and he followed up to attaching it to his belt. Walking out of the poke center he let out his pokemon as they all surrounded him and played with each other. "THIS MY FRIENDS IS THE LIFE!" He said happily as he watched pidgeotto, and Snubbull were the two newest members of the group as they ran around and all played together.

Tossing a pokeball up in the air and catching it he sighed smiling. Walking around snubbull, Ponyta sniffed and bucked as Snubbull wobbled away but Ponyta kept walking towards him. Psyduck saw Pidgeotto, this caused Psyduck to shout, "PSSSYYYYDUCK!!" Turning and running Psyduck closed his eyes and slammed into the wall of the poke center and fell over, "Psssyyy" he said and wobbled as he laid on his back. Wobbling away from Ponyta Snubbull wined, Ponyta winnied and ran after him as they ran in circles. Theo watched as it was like a chaotic circus as they were all running around.

Standing up Theo walked up to the Psyduck and helped him to his feet and petted pidgeotto and got Psydduck to touch Pidgeotto, this caused them to smile. Wings flapping and small arms wiggling Psyduck and Pidgeotto began to play. Walking up and grabbing Snubbull Ponyta slowly and softly sniffed her. Winning Ponyta licked Snubbull who climbed on Ponyta and they all started playing normally again.

Walking Theo whisteled as his pokemon began fallowing him in a line as he marched, "RIGHT! LEFT LEFT RIGHT LEFT! MARCH MARCH SOMETHING SOMETHING!" He shouted as he marched and they marched with him. "TO THE DAY CARE WE WILL HEAD, TO SEE THE POKEMON WE HAVEN'T MET!" He shouted "PSYDUCK YOU SING!" Psyduck wiggled and quickly ran in front and marched holding his head, "Psy! Psy! PSY DUCK PSY!" He said. Laughing Theo picked up Psy and held him.

Walking into the pokemon orphanage he smiled and whisteled as his pokemon walked up to their own kind and started playing. Snubbull playing with the other snubbull and ponyta was with ponyta's, and etc... Pidgeotto on the other hand was with the bird like pokemon since their weren't many pidgey's their. Theo walked through the orphanage as he smiled and glanced at his pokemon.

Visiting Ponyta he petted him as the little pokemon started climbing on him and they began walking through the orphanage as he gave them smiles and help them get up on Ponyta and then back down as Theo and Ponyta walk around the orphanage giving free rides to the baby pokemon. Psyduck was the stand up act as it wasn't suppose to be but just the way he acted towards objets made the smaller pokemon laugh as they began imitating psyduck and held their heads and ran like him as they followed him even though Pssyduck thought he was being attacked and was running away.

Walking up to Snubbull as Ponyta laid down letting the pokemon run around him Snubbull was playing tag with some pokemon as they ran around the small gated area. Theo got on his knees and was tagged as he walked on his knees and started playing Tag with the other pokemon and panted. "This is tiring!" He said chuckling as he played tag.

Snapping out of his mind he heard the lady speak, smiling he nodded and quickly began looking at all the pokemon and noticed a small poliwag sitting alone. Getting on his knees Theo held out his arms as the Poliwag slowly wobbled up and let THeo hug him. "You are all alone..." Theo said as Poliwag sighed and wiggled. "Do you wanna come with me?" Theo asked as Poliwag looked hessitant. Suddenly appearing Psyduck walked up to the Poliwag and stuck his hands on the Poliwag's head, "PSSSYYYY DUCK!" He screamed as Poliwag smiled "POLI! POLI!" she said and ran around huckling. "PSY PSY!!" He shouted and ran around Theo and Poliwag smiled and followed Psyduck running around him. Smiling Theo pulled out a pokeball and sucked in Psyduck and one by one he sucked in his pokemon and held a empty pokeball and looked at Poliwag. "Do you wanna join are group?" Theo asked as Poliwag wobbled up and tapped his head on the pokeball. Grinning he tapped Poliwag sucking him into the pokeball and sat it down as it shook and clinked.

Standing up with the pokeball he smiled and walked out with his stuff as he listened to what was left to said and turned happily, Letting out Poliwag he picked him up and sat poliwag on his head. "My new starter, and my new friend, I look forward to what we shall do." he said as he began walking and held Poliwag in his arms much like Misty held togepi. Foot going in front of another he left for his adventure.
