Not much is known about this hidden city. It is home to the Shadow Gem but only those whom are deemed worthy are allowed into this gated city. Secrets and Shadows run this city. Lavender Town can be reached by traveling to the East.

Noah set his bag down at the front of fuchsia city gate. "Finally, I made it. Fuchsia City. time to go to the gym!" Noah proceeds to pick up his bag and pull a pokeball off his belt and lets out a zorua. "Ready? Lets go." Noah begins walking towards the pokemon center with zorua following behind.

Ashley Miller
████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████

"Within the darkness one finds themselves.
They discover if they can walk the path of darkness in purity, or if hate will envelope their soul."

After the discovery of the dark gem stone, trainers had flocked to this area, but Ashley was among the first to arrive. Many who came had one or two dark pokemon, but it was clear from the start that these trainers had a hesitation and fear with their pokemon. It wasn't surprising as many had even added in the title of evil to the pokemon who seemed to have black aura's for their natures. Ashley however had trained nearly only these pokemon of the shadows in his time in Luminoise City. When he made it to the grim forest which was the origin of the discovery, he put his name into the hat to try to synchronize with the stone. He was drawn next to last of the batch of trainers he arrived with. The system was simple. A Lottery to determine in which order people touched the stone. Everyone knew that the first person to touch the stone would almost instantaneously be on perfect terms with any dark pokemon in the world. They would have the sole right to become the primary guardian of the stone. Ashley waited his turn, wondering if he had befriended his own pokemon well enough. As his turn came, he approached the one ton floating gem stone and it began to react. A fragment of the precious mineral was separated as though an invisible hand had sliced through it. Taking the fist sized stone in his hand, Ashley had become the world's first Shadow Gem Guardian.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
(8 Years Later)

Ashley Miller stared out at the small town he had slowly helped to build. It was absurd to realize that almost a decade earlier he had been the top boss of a mafia group in one of the biggest cities in the world. Now instead he was the mayor of a small town which had no crime. Granted his strict rules about law breakers were definitely a deterrent to would be criminals in his jurisdiction. He stood on top of the Gym talking to Summer Parkman when he noticed a new trainer walk up to the front gates of the city. Taking the young school teacher's hand in his own, he said simply
"We will finish this later my dear, but in the mean time I believe I have a new student to initiate." He then turned from the ledge and walked down through the roof access of the school. As he left the gem, he grabbed four pokeball's off a nearby shelf. and slipped them into his pocket. As he watched the young trainer ready himself and his Zorua to enter the pokemon center, Ashley started making mental notes about the young man. Dark hair, dark clothes, dark type pokemon by their side. Maybe they were actually tolerant of the seemingly evil pokemon. He went to address the adolescent but a chill went down his spine as he heard a voice cry out behind him. As though it were second nature, he turned and threw the first pokeball on his belt. A Tyranitar erupted in pink light, but the trainer who had shouted took no heed. The Green haired boy instead let out an exasperated scream declaring that he had come to the wrong place. The boy then spurred into his ponyta and ran it south back to the main route. Ashley recalled his giant green friend and with a hand signal had a trainer before him. "Julio, thank you for being so responsive. I have two new missions for you. First set a mandate that if the green haired trainer ever comes into town again I am immediately made aware. Second, follow that trainer and make sure he at least leaves the area. If he does not get out of the dark forest in one day's time, or he does anything suspicious follow him and report back to me. You have permission as well to use any means necessary in a fight as long as that trainer starts it. And If you feel like he is a threat do not hesitate to put him to sleep with a pokemon and deliver him to another part of the country. Do you understand?" Julio simply gave a salute and in a moment turned and left. Instead of heading directly to route 9, Julio turned to the forest and just before he leaped over the wall into the sinister place, he summoned forth a Shiftry which catapulted him over the wall.

Turning about Ashley placed his hands behind his back and smiled calmly to the new boy and his Zorua.
"Welcom to my humble village. My name is Ashley Miller, I am the mayor of this fine location, and also the Shadow Gem Guardian. How may I be of assistance? "

████████████████████████████████████
Acel LeCoyer_______
⊰ ❝ I am proud to protect the Shadow Gem . ❞ ⊱_______________

Acel walked for what seemed like an hour. The tread on the bottom of his tennis shoes was holding up, however he was definitely used to the paved streets of cerulean as opposed the the dirt path in the middle of the forest he now found himself on. Taking a deep breath he began to wonder just how far into the woods this town was supposed to be. He found his mind wondering back to his parents. What were they up to now? Probably in the lab still testing out the properties of water pokemon and their attacks. When he had left they had been so excited testing the difference between normal defenses and special defenses pokemon had picked up over time. It was curious the way they slaved away in the lab all day. Testing and retesting everything that went on for accurate results. Acel had respect for them, however he preferred a less formal form of research. He would rather test the pokemon in real battles and seek to strengthen his own resolve in each situation.

The path turned and Acel found himself momentarily startled at the sight of an Iron gate some three hundred meters away. Fuchia, the walled secretive city. He wondered what types of excitement would meet him on the other side of this wall. His heart began to bound in his chest as he thought about the possibilities. He thought back to when he fought with his younger brother who had a ten year disadvantage behind him in age. Acel loved to hold him up and watch him struggle fruitlessly. Just as Acel had been held by the world for years now. His brother, Pierre would begin to kick his feet trying his hardest to run on air to escape Acel's grasps. Acel would finally release and when the boy hit the ground he would take off all the air running sending him catapulted forward. Acel hoped that today would be his proverbial ground touch. That he would, finally free of that which held him back, jet off making his own wake in the world.

Acel reached the front gate and found himself in awe as it opened with no one in sight doing the work. Marveling at it as he walked through the inviting gateway to the city he studied some rudimentary mechanics just visible where the gate met the ten foot stone and mortar fence. A smile on his face, Acel walked quickly and with determination to the Gym. It was where his parents had suggested he went first, and also where many trainers who came to cerulean to join their gym went to train. Reaching the posterior of the great building, Zadok let out a sigh not able to hold back his wonder. The building was nothing special, in fact the whole city with it's eastern architecture was nothing in comparison to the great theaters and building in cerulean. It was however what the building represented. The home of the Guardians of the stone. The home of the friends to the Dark pokemon of the world. Acel's heart beat in his chest his mind swirling with questions he was hoping to have answered and his imagination running in overdrive playing through scenarios of his life for the next few years.

Acel walked through the door his heart nearly leaping from his chest with each new step. The building was painted with an optical illusion. It had to be. Outside it did not seem anywhere near this vast. Inside a building, taller than any Acel had ever witnessed loomed in the middle of the room. Next to it another building stood a few feet away. More buildings, none near as tall the primary ones in the middle of the room, added to the magnitude of the scene. As the buildings stretched back width ways away from him, Acel noticed that a beautiful city was silhouetted on the wall giving the optical illusion of a full city situated on the sky line. Acel was startled to realize that the entire scene appeared as though it were a city in dusk, complete with a light high above on the ceiling obscured by a cloud of pollution simulating filtered moonlight. Outside it was likely just passed noon, but if you were in this building you would never know that. The entire scene was totally convincing and took Acel's breath away.

Acel was unaware of anything going on around him. Wordlessly he slowly walked towards the base of the larger building. He touched it's wall astounded that it was made of real brick. Looking up he saw a metal set of stairs descending it's side. All he wanted was to climb the stairs. To reach the top of this structure and explore the other wonders of this gym. His feet acted on his desire, and as he studied some of the graffiti adorning th side of the building his feet found their way to the base of the stairs. Taking a deep breath, Acel found his conviction and took a step. As his shoe caused a hollow metal sound to resound around the room, a voice pierced his air of wonder and brought him crashing back to earth. What was he doing?

Turning about, Acel saw a man approaching him. The guy was huge. Atleast Sixfoot six and an utter wall of muscle. He wore a white button down shirt with the sleeves rolled to his elbows. A Black pinstripe vest and tie covered much of the rest of his shirt while a pair of matching pants completed the appearance. The man looked just like an American Gangster out of a film. His tiger tattoo on his wrist only helped his bald head to sell the the look and Acel's mind began to race. What had he gotten himself into? Almost in panick, he remembered what he was supposed to do when he reached his destination. Pulling an envelope out of his back pocket he handed it to the mobster.
"I was told to hand this to the Gym and they would know what to do with me. " The mountain of a man reached out and took the envelope, opening it with surprisingly dexterous fingers. He read it for a few moments before a huge smile erupted on his face revealing his golden teeth.

"Well then, Welcome home Acel!"
"E-excuse me?" Acel stuttered out in disbelief that it was this easy.
"C'mon, we will go get you situated with your first pokemon and I will show you the ropes. My name is Gregory by the way. " The mounain then turned around and maintained an easy pace towards a back wall.
"It's nice to meet you Gregory, my name is Acel Lecoyer!"
"Nice name, is it french or something?"
"Yes, it means shield of the noble. I rather love it!"
"If you stay proud of your name and decide you don't want it disgraced you will do fine here." Gregory said as they got to the end of the alleyway. He tapped on a wall, and it slid open. Acel would have never known it was there if he hadn't been shown. "Welcome home. I am gonna get you a pokemon, Ashley doesn't like to let people decide, so I am gonna give you one at random. And on the subject of Ashley, He is the Gem Guardian and Gym Leader here. He can be a hard man to work for, but if you respect him, yourself and everyone you come in contact with and follow his rules. You will be okay. If you ever don't know what to do. Ask, don't do it wrong. Pride will get you no where here. And your name is the most important thing you own from now on. Do not put it in a bad situation, Ashley will not hesitate for even a moment if you bring shame on us. You will be on the streets before nightfall. In addition to that we are a family here. So buckle down and learn to like everyone. Got it?"
"Yeah, I understand." Acel replied now wondering what kind of man this Ashley was. After a moment, Gregory opened up a hatch and reached a massive hand inside. When it retracted it held a pokeball and he tossed it to Acel. Catching it, the young trainer immediately knew what it was. His first pokeball.
"Well, here is your first pokemon. Take good care of Panchem for me. That one there is the child of my own. "
Acel's face lit up with joy. His very first pokemon. Without hesitation, he called forth the creature, his eyes lighting up as he saw the cute panda bear.

"Talk."
"Thinking."
"Other's talking."
