is it possible for you to lose your salvation?
like if you were saved and you stray away from God's path.

side-note: Is it bad that every time i go to church i feel like i don't belong there, and that everyone in that church is silently judging me?

Why do you feel they are judging you? Is it something that is in your head, or is it something that happened making you think this? How well do you know them?
Is your church a community?

You certainly belong in a church, and more so than that. In a fellowship with other believers. In a fellowship we can help one another out, and correct one another when we are wrong.

Hebrews 10:25
Not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near.

Hebrews 10:24
And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works,

1 John 1:3
That which we have seen and heard we proclaim also to you, so that you too may have fellowship with us; and indeed our fellowship is with the Father and with his Son Jesus Christ.

Ecclesiastes 4:9-12
Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their toil. For if they fall, one will lift up his fellow. But woe to him who is alone when he falls and has not another to lift him up! Again, if two lie together, they keep warm, but how can one keep warm alone? And though a man might prevail against one who is alone, two will withstand him—a threefold cord is not quickly broken.

I'm a baby Christian and I find that going to church keeps me on track with God. Even though I really don't go often....I should lol. I just don't like to go to my parent's church because my mom acts like one of those "I'm better than you because I'm Christian" people.

I spend more time just talking to my best friend about Christianity. Since I am a Bio major it is hard to find many friends who believe in God.

Some people seem to believe 'that once saved.. always saved.'
Which is so so true.
The real deal is once 'TRULY' saved, always saved!
Which means.. Once you truly FULLY SURRENDER to Jesus; then you are truly saved.
Fully surrendering to Jesus Christ as your Master, Lord, and Savior and Redeemer of your soul, heart, mind, body, life, tongue and all you say and do; Your living the life, walking the walk, and talking the talk and sharing the gospel with your neighbor's, as your intended to do.

Mr. Green;
Will you be a dear and correct me if I am wrong here....

Ms. Dannielle was partially right in her answer to you maam.
But to be honest.
NO!
You can lose the JOY of your Salvation.
You can lose the Assurance of your Salvation.
You can lose the Power of your Salvation.
But you cannot lose your Salvation if you are truly saved.
There are a lot of people out there that have gone through the motions of being saved and on Sunday and possibly on Wednesday or Thursday (dependding on the type of church you belong to) act all Christianly in public and at church but are simply going through the motions and have never fully surrender their lives and their 'all in all' to the Lord who believe that they are saved and are not.

But as Ms. Dannielle F. said, "If you are truly saved and have given everything that you are inside and out and all aspects of your heart, soul and life to the Lord Jesus Christ", and you believe that He did die on that cross for your sins and the sins of this world and by fully surrendering yourself to Him as your Risen Lord, Redeemer, and Living Savior, then you are saved as Jesus promised to do so and your name is written in the "Lamb's Book of Lives", and you shall be remembered in heaven as you have been remembered here on this earth.

Now as for feeling like every time that you are in the church you attend that people around you are judging you.
Believe this; it is not their job in the first place to judge anyone. That job is left up to God to do.

Plus noone is perfect, and if your bothered or feel like your being judged by others then maybe it is the conviction of the Holy Spirit that you are under at the moment and you need to take it to the alter and have a little talk with Jesus, and tell Him all about your troubles and ask for Him to forgive you for w/e maybe the problem and to keep a hedge of protection around you to keep you on the straight and narrow to Him and to His Will for you to be doing.

That is what I do when I feel the same way as I suspect your feeling right now. But that's just me, and that is my opinion.
I will keep you in my prayers for the Lord to reveal to you His way and will to you, and to keep a hedge around you always and to bless you and yours as well.

Be blessed always my friend.

NO ONE IS PERFECT OR BLAMELESS OR SINLESS, NO NOT ONE!!!!

As far as them judging you... You say that you are a Christian and you are saved, right...
Do they know that?
Or as Jesus said to the crowd around the woman who was caught committing adultry and they wanted to stone her.
Jesus said, 'Let he who is without sin, Cast the first stone.' and the crowd dispersed.

As for you slipping back into old ways and old paterns of your past worldly life... Everyone slips and everyone slides on their path to rightiousness.

This is why the Holy Spirit indwells inside of you since you became saved.
The purpose of the Holy Spirit was and is too be a comforter, a guide, a director, and to give you rememberence of all things holy and just, and also since you became saved the Holy Spirit filled your heart and is the one who cleanses and justifies you daily - which means when you slip and slide and sin.. The Holy Spirit will whisper to your heart and tell you that "Hey!! What you just did was wrong and you know it! You do know what you need to do from here out now don't you?!?!?!" And the Holy Spirit will lay such a burden on your heart till you find yourself down on your knees in prayer to the Lord asking for forgiveness from whatever it was that was sinful.

Thats what happens when you get saved. But I can tell by the way you talk that you are a young Christian and still on the 'Milk of the Word of God and not on the Meat of the Word of God' yet; Which is okay too. I started out as a new Christian once a while back and even though I am no longer on the 'Milk of the Word', there are still times I have questions, and if I said that there hasnt been a day that has gone by since I was saved that I did not sin in some way or the other. I would be a total liar. Because I am as the apostle Paul said: 'A sinner and the chef sinner' and there are times when even the most devote Christian will slip back into some wordly pattern because the devil, oh yeah the devil; Satan does like to go back and forth from hell, earth and heaven and like to talk to God and say "Look at this kid here. She says that she's yours but I bet you I can make her slip back into her old ways and sin up a storm." Satan does do that, believe you me. Yes, God will let us to be tempted to test us at times. But believe this as well. Whatever the Lord has lead you up too, He will see you through it!

You will be alright my young friend. Like I said. If the Holy Spirit has you under a conviction about some wrong doing or sin you did that you have not repented from yet; just go to the Lord in prayer and ask for His forgiveness and whatever you take to the alter (whether the alter is your bed or your dining room table, or the alter at your church you attend) whatever you take to that alter, leave it there and don't pick it back up again. Let God have it and leave it with Him, and just don't think about it anymore or do it anymore and when you ask for forgiveness, ask also for the Holy Spirit to help you and to keep you from doing that type of sinning again.
Okay!?! Are we good? Good!
Look, if you ever need a friend too talk too in confidence, you can p/m me and w/e is said will be between God, you and me and thats that. If anyone else finds out, it will be because you told them about it.
(AND THAT PROMISE GOES TO ANY OF YOU READING THIS.)
God bless!
Your friend and brother in Jesus Christ our Risen Lord, Living Savior and Redeemer!,

Perhaps it may be more beneficial for you to, if possible, attend another church. Some churches, whilst they may all still have the heart of god in their teachings, will have better youth programs, or less judgmental people, wiser leaders or a wider range of bible study groups .Whatever it is you are looking for in a church, it should help your in god grow.

That being said, in all places, it takes time for people to accept you and get to know you. You should allow other church members to get used to your presence before deciding you need to go to another church.

In answer to your question though, no, you can't lose your salvation if you have been truly saved. It may weaken sometimes because no one is perfect but you will always think about god in the back of your mind. I don't believe you have gone completely off his path, because if you have, why are you posting here? (Not meaning to be rude just asking the question trying to get you thinking about it)
