I am currently eighteen years old and from San Jose, California.

I lean more liberal but I am not a liberal. If I register to vote, I will register independent.

I am not religious although I was raised with a mixture of Christian and Jewish influence.

I am a feminist. I believe in equality so I'm against things like cat-calling, harassment, and being paid less for the same amount of work. Transgender women are women too. I'm against how media portrays women and am very outspoken against using Photoshop to create "perfect images."

I'm very much for body positivity. Everyone should love their bodies but your goals should be to be healthy. If you are too thin or too heavy, love your body but make an attempt to get rid of bad eating habits and get yourself to a healthy weight, but love your body along the whole journey. We are always changing.

I don't think I'm an ablest but it is something I struggle with. People with mental or physical disorders do make me a bit uncomfortable because if they have fits of rage or seizures or something else caused by their disability, I just wouldn't know what to. I will admit I am not a perfect person and this is something I need to work on.

I am very conflicted on gun rights.

I'm against universal healthcare. It's not a good system. It has too many flaws. People die because processes take too long. The government isn't stable enough to run something this important. They require everyone to have car insurance or not have a car and for the most part, people find a way. I think we should simply be required to have health insurance as opposed to car insurance and people can find a way. Human bodies are important than cars.

There's nothing wrong with food stamps as long as they're not being abused which is very rare. For a while there were facilities that assisted people on food stamps and helped them find jobs and get them back on their feet. We should bring those back and expand on that.

I am very much for LBGTQA rights. Love is love. Religion is not a valid argument. It's not hurting your children.

I accept that I have white privilege but I find posts generalizing white people as horrible human beings painful since I am trying to be aware and be a good person.
