Placebo; Kick.a**.Stuff. Check out 'Black Market Music' and 'Sleeping With Ghosts'. ((Album titles)) They only suit those of a particular taste though, I believe. Mehh, check em anyway.

I wouldn't really consider Placebo indie though, since there are a lot of people who have heard of them. Not everyone likes them, but they still know who they are.

The Eels are pretty good. But I think they're more alternative... god knows: Pinholing bands is just not my forte.

Check out any band on Eyeball Records. My personal fav band from there is Zolof the Rock and Roll Destroyer. They do pop-rock kind of stuff, but it sounds so nifty and fun.
