Thanos found himself in an odd situation. He had left Regret, not left her in a permanent manner, but had merely wandered off as she slept. They had been traveling together for some time now and more often than not he would stand guard over her while she slept - much to the disgust of the female rat War. But now and then he would venture out, knowing that she would sleep unmoving for many hours. When he did wander he would often return with whatever scrap of food he could find. It usually wasn't much a dried up apple here, a few leaves there, but he always made sure he gave her something when she woke. He couldn't quite figure out why he did this and the one time he had asked the rats about it War had yelled at him about wasting his time on such pointless things, while the other rat, Peace, told him it was a nice thing to do for Regret.
Sighing he cast a glance in the direct he had come from, at least he was pretty sure he had come from over there. His memories were still a jumbled mess but now and then he would remember something, not in it's entirety but enough to make him realize that not everything from his past was lost. Seemed as far as recent memories go anything to do with Regret was fresh in his mind, though he did jumble them up with one another from time to time. He lowered his gaze to the ground in front of him, taking in the disgusting green hues of the grass and other plants that carpeted the land. How he hated all this life around him, it made him feel....something, he couldn't quite figure out the word for it, but it was something and he didn't like it.
"Finally we are leaving that wretched useless beast!" War exclaimed in as happy of a tone as she could muster.
"Don't be silly." Her brother, Peace, said. "He is just looking for something while she rests, you know he won't leave her side for long."
"Stop encouraging him to stick with her." War cried out and lept at her brother."
Thanos sighed and shook his head. Yup, they were at it again. No matter what subject was brought up the siblings always found, though War was the instigator almost every time. He should tell them to shut up, better yet he should tell them to take a hike and leave him alone for good. But he couldn't do that, like it or not he relied on the rats far too heavily to have them leave. If he ever fully regained his memories though...then he would be happy to see them go. He continued along a worn path, not particularly paying attention to where he went, it's not like he would remember this place once he left so why bother spending his energy and time looking about. "Will you too stop." He snapped at the rats as they continued to fight upon his back. When the two rats continued to tumble about Thanos stopped and shook his whole body hard. "Stop or I will never leave Regrets side again." He threatened, knowing that War would listen to that. It took only a few seconds for the fighting to come to an end.
"You're a bloody stupid fool!" War yelled in anger. "You waste so much time with that mare when you could be spending it destroying this land!"
NOTE: The rats do not actually talk to Thanos, he hears their voices in his mind because he is crazy. Any nearby Soquili or other creatures would simply hear the rats squeaking.
