PRP for yuniki and lysia It was a brisk fall after noon as the leaves sealed down over the stone walk way within a large tree filled part there were no sand boxes nor were there any slides or swings nothing more then the nature surrounding the open filed park. The leaves wee crisp and fragile among the ground while leaves up high began to brown as they shifted threw the days from yellow to brown or orange to read as all while many of the green leaves that once filed the part were no longer left. families filled the part to take part in the common fall festival the celebration of the falls coming, there were games and stands around the center of the park in witch there was a stone path circling around in a spiral to create a terrace. as many were playing games, dancing and enjoying the leaves graceful movements while eating on a blanket with family and friends, not all were enjoying the company of others. for one male Kirin he sat nested on a bench with a book in front of him his blue scarf occasionally blowing with the mild wind rolling past carrying a hand full of leaves on its trail. He looked up his orange eyes glancing out at the people enjoying them self's he knew not of there enjoyment barbecues he was usually alone no one bothered to talk to him he knew not why, But. he didn't mind ether. he usually enjoyed his solitude but some times it bothered him he was always to shy at times or to fearful of being judged for him always loving to read and always being out in the morning for fall around 6:00 A.M but never did he leave his home during summer. He despised the heat it had always made him sick he very much preferred the cold. Over time he rose up from his bench tucking his book in to a bag that was belted around his waist and headed over to the stands to see what he could get to eat and drink preferably tea or hot chocolate and a light snack like a baked apple or some pumpkin soup.

The start of fall was once more upon them. She hadn't seen the change to the leaves nor was it the other things people might see that told her it was that time once more. It was the scent of dry leaves and damp earth that told her. The crisper feel to the air and delicate shift in the temperatures. Today she walked among the leaves, without any help from her son to guide her. Carefully, she made her way about following the sounds of others gathered in mass. The festival.. She couldn't help but to giggle lightly. Fall was a wondrous time and for her.. even more beautiful in her darkened world because it had brought her the treasure she'd raised from bowl hood. With careful steps, she used a stick to test where she'd step before moving on stepping around people almost as though she could see them. She was listening to the voices to help direct her till she found something with her stick she hadn't anticipated. It felt solid though not un-giving like a tree trunk or lamp pots. "Oh! I'm terribly sorry.. I didn't mean to... "She stumbled back a few feet gradually loosing her balance. Flailing her arms to keep from falling, her guide stick slipped from her hands clattering to the ground. She paused, the other person moving on as she stilled herself. Foot steps... the clatter... to the left... She turned her head in the direction of the clatter before lowering herself to search for the stick with her hands as the mover towards where she'd heard it clatter to the ground.

he was ordering his tea and food at a stand as his ears flicked lightly he turned his head back hearing the clatter of a pole hitting the ground before roiling down slightly from the bumps of the noodles paws around him as he headed to it leaning his head down he used his antlers to grab a hold of the pole seeing the angelic on the floor he walked closer as he nudged her up gently with his tail and looked her over for a quick second " are you alright. miss?" he said with a voice that was mellow and sweet gentle to the ears but sounded like a voice of a blue jay singing in the early morning, he soon had her back up to her paws as he gently held out her cane in front of her " here i be leave this belongs to you" he said with a bit delight in his voice hoping she wouldn't bump in to his antlers as he had soon notice that she was blind. he had earlier amused it was a stick to a game but he felt foolish now realizing it wasn't.

She felt the change of the air letting her know of the movement that went with the sounds she could hear. Some one had come over to help her.. hopefully at least. Her thoughts were confirmed only when she felt herself helped back up. "I'm fine.. Just dropped my cane..." She said as she fumbled about till she felt the cane offered to her. " Dusting herself off some, she seemed to look around before lifting a paw to test how far away from her he was. "Thank you... I think I would have been lost without it... I'm Felicity by the way..." It was when she brushed the feeling of something branch like that she paused, pondering a moment. "Are we under a tree?"

he smiled as he want to far from her, he removed his tail from around her once she was back up to her feet as he watched her " My name is Octavian. its nice to meet you Felicity" he said as she felt his antlers and gave a chuckle " your very much welcome but we are not under a tree those are my antlers and we are in the center of the festival." he said as he took a moment to look around " about 10 to 20 others have gathered here to celebrate the changing of the leafs i my self have done the same but in a more secluded manner" he gave a soft sigh taking a moment to remember he was waiting on his hot coco and snacks as he looked back to her " Would you like to join me for a cup of coco?" he said as he decided to take a chance for once in trying to get to know some one rather then hiding with his nose in his book. " and if you like. i could take us to a tree to sit under?" he said wondering if she would say yes.

"Oh!" Her face made a slightly surprised look. "I'm sorry.. I didn't mean to paw at you.." She listened quietly as he explained just about their positioning withing the festival grounds. " I see.." She offered him a friendly smile. "I enjoy this time of year.. though not likely for the same reasons others do.." Giving a nod, she spoke up. "Coco sounds nice.." She could hear her son's voice echoing in her head. 'Give strangers a chance.. no doubt you'll find they amaze you more than you'd think they could. ' A risky thing to think about.. The last time she thought to give something new a chance did she not wind up with two precious little ones new to the world and needing cared for? Still.. Her son was right in some things.. she couldn't huddle her self up in her home all day and night... it just wasn't healthy. "Where ever you'd be most comfortable I think... I had for a moment thought you had branches like some one I know.. She chuckled once more..

he laughed gently " its fine don't worry about it, fall for me is the only time of year my self i love I'm not to found of the others " he began to walk back toward the stand from witch he had come from seeing his food and coco was ready he ordered a second helping of both the food and the hot coco as he looked back to her to make sure she hadn't got lost in the crowd or fallen down again " after we get theses we will head over to the bench beneath the large oak tree. its quite beautiful this time of year , its leaves go from a bright green to a beautiful vibrant orange. some times as the wind blows by the leaves dance across the winds wake spinning down to the ground some times falling on children heads as they stare up at it with there parents, there Reactions are quite delightful to see" he said as he sighed with a smile he enjoyed watching other noodles enjoy them selves some times, as he thought of the happily families he was called his and her treats and coco were done as he lifted his tail up taking the bag and the cups careful getting a grip on the special carrier they were in as he waited for her before proceeding to the oak tree. " so who is this person i remind you of? " he said with a thought in hi s mind

She followed the sound of his foot steps, his scent and kept close by as best as she could without whacking him with her cane. "What are they like?? the colors??" She tilted her head to the side some as she heard his words. "I've been blind all my life so the concept of the are.... beyond my comprehension." She offered him another smile. "It sounds like it would be nice to be able to see them...." She shook her head lightly following him once more as he moved, the sound of his voice and the scent of the food and coco aiding her in keeping her direction sound. "Oh.. My son.. He was born with them you see....attached to his back." She felt around her with the cane before hearing the dull 'thunk' of it hitting a bench. Making her way closer to it, she felt around it with a paw before taking a seat. "Though the events leading up to when he came into my life are a little... fuzzy.. it was during the fall that it happened.. His father and sister aren't around much.. So truth is.. I don't know much about them.. But Damien's been all I've had since that day."

he frowned slightly as he wasn't aware she had been blind scene birth he had only seen people go blind and still know and remember colors they had seen. while he began to think he helped her sit down in a place blocked from the harshest part of the cold witch was now she was being shielded from by the trunk of the big old oak tree " well.." he started thinking to him self on how to describe a color but he was stumped for a moment " orange is like the sun it is warm bright but can be dull ~he picked up a leaf as he nudged it over to her he could see it was a vibrant orange but it smelled like the tree in which it feel from " orange is also like a warm fire on a cold night in wish keeps you toasty. when i see orange leaves in many variety's it makes me feel happy it also makes me think of pumpkins " he soon smiled as he offered her a muffin he had bought witch smelled of nutmeg and pumpkin pure but also sweet " here try some of this think of it as tasting fall" he said as he set it in front of her the sweet spices drifting on the open air

"I think I understand..." She smiled once more the fragrance of the muffin drifting towards her nose. Carefully she felt around till she found the muffin. Picking it up, she lifted it to her face drawing in it's scent once more before finally taking a bite. Chuckling merrily, she swallowed what was in her mouth before speaking. "I never thought of tasting fall when I ate these... They're one of my favorite.. Kinda like .. pumpkin bread.... only... not..." She smiled once more finishing off the muffin.

he smiled with delight watching her enjoy her self as he soon pulled out another muffin for him self and began to eat it his tail swaying back and forth on the floor behind him as he ate , he took a few bites as he looked back up once more " tasting fall is quite wonderful you can taste the seasons just by .. well .. eating the foods that only are available during each season. the same goes for holidays" he smiles as he thought of the teas he had for each season back at his home. the peppermint tea for winter and the pumpkin tea for fall rose tea for spring and the fruity tea for summer. he finished off his muffin as he closed his eyes listening to the almost melodic wind gently blowing past them as his scarf fluttered in the wind

The thought sounded nice. To taste the seasons through food. Then again it was such a simple solution why hadn't she thought of it before? She mused on the idea a little longer in silence. "So.... Peppermint bark.. is like tasting winter then? Cool and refreshing yet crisp to tingle the senses and set it on edge?" She turned as though she might look at him though her stare was blank, devoid of focus the way it might had she actually been trying to make eye contact with him. The smile she made, was tender and sweet. "It certainly reminds me of the chilly winds that bite and sting one's face." She wondered what other things she might be missing. "What.... What does it look like in the early months of spring? When the world begins anew??"

he smiled listening to as he stared tho not rudely but with delight in to her blank eyes " peppermint bark humm ya. id say it would be perfect to explain winter because it feels like cold snow biting at your tongue . he thought over what else he could uses as an example to explain winter but stooped listening to what she said about spring as he sat up and smiled " well spring is like the fresh taste of a sweet citrus fruit or the smell of flowers in the early morning as the dew dances upon the petals of a simple blade of grass or the smell of the rain gently sprinkling down over the young buds growing in as the snow melts giving way to spring. but most important of all. spring is one of the easiest to feel threw your heart for every spring brings the feeling of love across the morning winds." he paused and sighed trying to think of what that would be like he understood it poetically but held no emotional attachment to love." i would say that spring rolls fresh salad and marked good made fresh in the morning would represent spring most...mm maybe not so much baked goods" he said slightly lost in his babbling." forgive me i didn't mean to ramble on " he said rubbing his head slightly annoyed by his own rambling

She smiled once more. Well I think that helps.. but.. can you describe it to me?? I know it's like the world has breathed anew.. but.. I've always wondered what it looks like.. " She chuckled lightly.. "No.. it's fine.. I like hearing you talk.. It's far more than what I can get out of my son at least..." She smiled once more. "He grew up and though takes care of me.. I feel some how like I hold him back.." She frowned at the thought. Could she be holding him back from moving on with his life as an adult? She slid the thought from her mind, trying to thing of something to add to change the subject. Still quietly, she sipped at her cocoa, enjoying the warmth it brought her.

"truthfully" he started as he mulled over his thoughts and felt he wasn't to good with his words as being around her made him fumble over his own thoughts lousing track and concentration captured by her smile and the look in her sightless eyes. tho it didn't later he wanted to become better with his words so he could help her see threw his words. as this thought went threw his mind he sighed and slightly found " I'm sorry i don't really know how to describe it better then the world beginning a new." his words trailed off as he soon rested his head on his paw gazing at her his frown turned in to a subtle smile " well best way that might help is flowers " he said getting up as he went over to her " will you accompany me to the local flower shop?" he said as his tail swayed behind him ( sorry it took me so long to reply to this )
