I'm just kinda unsure if I should accept the offer or not, because she's noticeably older than me.
I'm 27 and she's 49.
Usually that would very quickly bother me but it's only been older men that have done that before.
For some reason the fact that it's an older woman instead of an older man makes it not nearly as creepy or bothersome to me.
I'm not bothered by her as much as I'm worried about the judging and worried people who would hear about it or see it and think something's wrong with her.
There are other factors as well, but I'm just thinking that with how little I get out I'm not going to get many other chances to go on a date with a woman like this!
What do you guys think about age gaps in dating?

I feel like the issue society revolves around in age gaps is that "one is more or less mature" than the other.
And through my experiences I've found that you can NOT base maturity off of age.
If this lady seems nice and the two of you seem to get along well enough might as well try it, I guess?
Just make sure someone knows where you're going/ that you're going to be out. Maybe set a time for them like "if I haven't contacted you by -this time- please call me or call someone else" just to ensure your safety.
