I remember... posting a few battle reports, a short story, and a post in an RP that went nowhere. Jeez, I haven't had much of a presence here, have I? Let's see about fixing that!

I don't ever think I doubted that this place would still be around in 10 years. I did expect it to be a bit more of an event, but that's on me and not you folks. Life has a way of turning out in ways you don't expect, and the fire in this place has always been more of a slow-burning candle than a bottle rocket; otherwise there wouldn't be anybody here.
Where I have time, this place is going to change up in the next few months. We've always been 40k-centric, but I think the majority of folks here play more games than that, so I'm going to do a slight re-org to open discussion on more than just GW. I'm going to finish going through the members list and start weeding out those who never really showed up in the last 10 years, going on the basic criteria of if you have less than 50 posts and haven't posted in 2 years (so long as you're posting every year or so, you're fine) will be removed for inactivity. I'd like to focus on the people who are here, you know? I'm also planning on trying to do more with our Steam group; there's only so much gaming together an online group can do, and Steam games are a great way to get more of that done.
Anyway, one decade down, who knows how many to go? Looking forward to the ride.

I think the only impact i've ever had on here was winning a scenario competition and refusing the prize money (since I hat plenty at the time, back when a million gold was a lot), and a thread about productive uses for sprue.
