A home that was once given to her father, now left for Senri to undertake. This place resides deep in the forests that still reside within Uchiha territory. On first glance it seems like a lonely place, but in the summer dozens of cherry blossom trees bloom around the lake it sits on.

Cloak wrapped around her, Ijimeru stepped into the familiar abode, spent many summers ago in peace with Senri. It was a lonely place now, but she remembered what it was that was so special about this place. The snakes, lovely snakes, from all around. How she had missed it. Was the snake in the lake still there? If so, she'd have to feed it chocolates, just like she used to. It seemed to have a fondness for sweets, and when she was lonely, it and Senri were the only things that got through.
Inside, the halls were dimly lit by candles and sconces, giving an eerie feeling to the whole place if one hadn't seen it in its glory days. Most of the house had been converted into Senri's personal abode, but she let Ijimeru have sleeping quarters on an upper floor. The trick to this house, though, was to watch where you stepped. Traps everywhere, poisonous snakes like guard dogs, scattered remains across certain parts of the house, as if it were a natural thing.
Her cloak remained about her shoulders, giving her comfort in the mountain's chill, as she called out. "Senri, my darling Senri, are you home?" It felt as if ages had passed since they had last seen each other-weeks, as it were, on these missions and the like. Maybe months; time was an elusive thing.

"Chuu!" 'Sniff, Sniff.' You know it's times like these when Senri wished she had her old immune system. And of course as of recent this was all she could think about. Her body felt too clean dammit! Everything except for her resistance to poison had been purified. For now she'll just have to deal with it until her body starts building up her toxins.
Snow piled onto her umbrella as she trudged along the hidden pathway to her Abode. Today was unproductive thus far, and of course it bothered Senri to be held back from any missions. For now she had just been working on a few experiments, but nothing notable. Speaking of notable things...she saw an awfully familiar chakra signature, one that unmistakably belonged to her Nakama. Senri perked up with a bit of excitement and hurried in her Abode.
"Iji-ssssaaaammmaa~!" Senri cooed as she trailed after Ijimeru, elated to see her friend after what seemed like weeks.
Damned. Watch the masses fall.
Burn it down, control 'em all!
The voices in my head suggest a less than peaceful side.
I'll control the world, one person at a time.
As I damn the dead, I'm trying to survive.
I'm not ready to die!

"Senri, my petite one. I have missed you so." The cooing ceased as Ijimeru turned to smile at the tiny girl behind her, opening her cloak. "Come slither back into my clothes to keep yourself warm, just like old times." She grinned, hoping Senri would. The feel of her scales on Ijimeru's skin was amiss, and it had been months since she'd felt it. And in this cold place, she needed a reminder that things weren't as bad as they seemed-or really were.
The old traps were still in place, and the feather in her hair tickled her ears. "Not much has changed since we were last here. It all seems to be in working order." With a grin, she looked things over, and plucked a trip wire delicately. Screams echoed from another part of the house. "I didn't know we still had a live one?" The smile widened, and there was a laugh that came from within. "Ah, it is good to be home with you again. Might I suggest we take on the twins, make our home a little more comforting?"

Senri's eyes lit up a bit as she was offered a warm place to hide on Ijimeru's person. She would have assumed the form of her signature black and red cobra, but her body was new and purified, giving her a pure white form with beady little red eyes. Plus she blended in with the snow better this way, though she still wasn't happy about the new coloration. Senri raised her long body so that she could coil around Ijimeru's midriff and slither onto her usual spot on Ijimeru's collarbone. A wave of content washed over Senri as she flicked her tongue and nudged playfully at Ijimeru's neck. It was a bit chilly on the lower levels of the home, but she made sure to keep the fires running on the upper levels where Ijimeru used to stay. If she were to venture up there, everything would be tidy and quite cozy. When Ijimeru mentioned how the place should be a little more occupied she paused for a moment. She had forgotten about those two completely. She would have protested against one of them, but remembered that Ijimeru was no longer in an arranged marriage, thus she was no longer needing to hunt and inevitably kill Haruki. Therefore she no longer had a problem with either of them, aside from one being obnoxious to the point where accidental deaths and dissection might ensue. Senri let out a decisive hum and flicked her tongue. "Asss long asss they keep their disssstanccce from me when I am working....I ssssuppose we can adopt them." She relented. Senri wasn't going to mention she had been running out of experimental subjects. They were hard to come by considering the strict rules of the current clan lord. Seriously what does he do with all the academy flunkies? Kill them? Banishment? What a waste... "Yesss.....thessse ssssubjectsss are more resilient than thossse of our branch. I've been sssstudying them for quite ssssome time now, tessssting for weaknessss." Senri explained, expressing a bit of frustration as she rambled on. Acting as if the princess were actually interested in her rantings. "I could easssily ssssay it's from the environment in which they are raissssed from, but I have a feeling there hassss been sssome genetic tampering. Perhaps due to a cassse of natural sssselection or Darwinisssm." In essence they were both similar, but shared very distinct differences, though one usually refers strictly to biological evolution and originally included the broad concepts of transmutation of species. This practice was generally taboo and frowned upon, but the term was generally used by promoters of creationism. " If thisss isss the cassse then it would make sense as to why experimentsss to the human body are not prohibited in thissss branch of the clan. Either way I ssssuspect sssomething is amissss here." Senri concluded, ducking her head back under the hook of Ijimeru's cloak. She was a small little cobra, her girth being around only two or three inches give or take, but the length of her body was long, making it easier to coil around Ijimeru's collarbone. "Ah...but enough of my rambling. I can mussster the strength to help you locate the two if that isss your wish..." Senri was still new to this body and hadn't quite made a full recovery, but she could do the basics. Another rebirth would be near impossible at the present time though. Not that she needed one.

The familiar feeling of scales against her skin made Ijimeru sigh with relief; at least something was familiar here besides their home. However, Senri's new body was pure white, and while irregular, it could not be said that Ijimeru didn't like it. It made Senri glisten like snow. Her hand absently reached up to cradle the snake against her cheek, nudging the scales delicately.
"They should be no problem. Better than Sessouresu, who would destroy our home." Senri's tongue tickled at her neck, and she stifled a giggle. It had taken her a moment, but with no more arranged marriage, little of the clan left, and furthermore, even fewer of their own class left, it made sense to keep allies closer and enemies further. Or closer, considering whose territory they now 'belonged' to.
"You are right. There does seem to be something different about the clan here since we were last visiting." Her thumb stroked Senri's scales, dark hair billowing. "We should conduct further research. If what you have found correlates, then we must obtain these things for ourselves. After all, isn't that what an Ouroborous does?" Her lips curled into a thoughtful smile, the deviousness reflecting in her eyes.
Her cloak swirled around them, before she clasped it tighter, covering her hair and Senri's body tightly with its warmth. "Let us go find our twins, and take them home. It's time to make our place here Senri darling. I'm tired of being discarded." She swept out the doorway, and towards the city, Senri curled around her body comfortingly.
