It is an abandoned battlefield from long ago, the soil is stained red from countless battles long past and the ground is both littered with and riddled with weapons, armor, and tools in varying states of wholeness. Be careful where you step in these fields, because you might very get step on the tip of a broken sword, or trip over a spear. The field is green with grass, but the soil will never forget those that died upon it. There is metal here everywhere. It has become very much a hazard, and so the emperor has declared that anyone who finds metal in the fields, is allowed to keep it.

Her next find had her smiling. Confusion found Iron Daggers, and what’ more, she’d found twelve of them. She picked them up one by one and put them in her rucksack. She smiled at the possibilities that were coming to mind as to what she could do with the materials she was finding.

Confusion had thought she couldn’t be happier. She was wrong. She had just found two solid silver broad swords. She picked them up and put them in her rucksack so that the hilts were sticking out the top. Then she continued looking around to see what else she could find.

She’s found another set of useful items. Seven rusty tin armor plates. She could use these. And in fact planned to. She’d have to completely remake them, smelt them together and forge anew ones, but that would be easy enough once she could get to a proper forge or smithy. She put them in her rucksack and continued looking around.

She smiled as she found twelve more iron daggers. She picked them up and put them in her rucksack before turning to leave. This was a good day. Next stop, The forges. Then she might return to gather more. She knew this would be a long flight. And as tired as her wings were, she needed to fly, because it would have been a much longer walk.
