Experience
Experience is earned via two ways.
Posting
Experience gained by posting works like so, for every 50 Words you get 1,000 experience. When you are posting it is advised that you keep track of the amount of Paragraphs you have done as it will help when you are going to update your character you need to do is keep track of the post numbers that you've made. When you've reached a certain amount (your choice in this case) update for that much experience.
*note that this form of experience will not work during fights - That means should you fight you will not gain experience from posting.
Fighting
Read the following if you're planning to be in a fight:
Pirate/Bounty Hunter/Loner Vs. Marine
If a Pirate, Bounty Hunter or Loner engages in battle with a Marine the winner will gain 1/3 of the losers experience this can also be said for the Marines. In accordance with this a Pirate's bounty will be increased. If the Marine is victorious they may move up in rank depending on the requirements. Depending, there may also be extra bonuses based on the battle awarded to the victor.
Pirate/Loner Vs. Pirate/Loner
If a Pirate or Loner engages in battle with another Pirate or Loner the winner will gain 1/4 of the loser's experience. In accordance with this the winner's bounty will be increased. Depending, there may also be extra bonuses based on the battle awarded to the victor.
Bounty Hunter Vs. Pirate/Loner
If a Bounty Hunter engages in Battle with a Pirate or Loner the winner will gain 1/3 of the loser's experience this can also be said for Pirates/Loners. In accordance with this the winner's bounty will be increased.. Depending, there may also be extra bonuses based on the battle awarded to the victor.
Bounty Hunter Vs. Bounty Hunter
If a Bounty Hunter engages in battle with another Bounty Hunter the winner will gain 1/4 of the loser's experience. Depending, there may also be extra bonuses based on the battle awarded to the victor.
Marine Vs. Marine
If a Marine engages in battle with another Marine the winner will gain 1/4 of the loser's experience. In accordance with this the winner may move up in rank depending on the requirements. Depending, there may also be extra bonuses based on the battle awarded to the victor.
Note: The loser gets 1/10 of the opponents Exp and are capped to 20,000 only. You will only gain nothing off the opponent if you are 200,000 exp higher or more. Draws/Ties distribute no experience only Bounty. Fights that are group fights will have the experience as divided.
Bounty
Bounties are used to determine how dangerous a Pirate is considered to be towards the World Government, every 1,000 exp gives you a 2,000 Beli Bounty. if you are in a fight and you both get a draw/tie then you get a Beli Bounty increase of 1/10 of the Opponent's Experience.

Besides Earning bounty from Experience and Fights, there is a second way of getting a higher bounty.

Stat Points
The Experience you earn is turned into two types of Points, every 1,000 exp gives you one Stat Point. Every time you get to 100,000 exp gets you a bonus of 5+ Points per occupation & combat chosen during the profile creation, which will appear in Brackets next to the base amount.
Example:
Strength: 50 {+5 Swordsman}
Points used on Stats
Stats are used to indicate how powerful you are. They work in conjunction with Class but give a more specific insight into a character's strengths and weaknesses, and moves. These Points can be used to raise your stats.
You will be given 30 Stat Points to begin with.
Strength: How strong your character is physically.
Defense: How well you can take a hit.
Speed: How fast you are.
Accuracy: How accurate your projectile attacks are.
Stamina: How long you can keep active without rest.
Intelligence: How smart your character is overall
Spirit: How focused your inner chi can be. Higher levels make it so you can master the use of Haki.
Skill Points
The Experience you earn is turned into two types of Points, every 2,000 exp gives you one Skill Point.
You will be given 5 Skill Points to begin with.
