Learning Techniques

These are the techs for the Marine Head To learn a tech from a teacher please read the following:

1. You must be in the same island as the teacher to learn the technique(s).
2. To learn a technique from a teacher, do an NPC chat with the teacher for the recommended post count about the technique in question. After which you update providing a link to the post and pay the cost of stat points.

If you have any questions about how to learn a technique, please pm a mod!

(Huge note! Because all these marines are located in one place, you don't need to be in any specific area. Long as your in the marine headquarters area, you can be anywhere in it. ALSO BE AWARE ONLY MARINES CAN LEARN TECHS FROM MARINE TEACHERS!)

Technique Name: Catching the Bullet
Description: The user can catch a bullet using nothing but their hands. This technique can only be used 1 time per battle
Requirements: User must be an Admiral & +300 Defense & Speed
Point Cost: 10

Technique Name: Admiral Deflection
Description: The user holds their arm out and is then able to deflect bullets with it without taking damage. This technique can only be used 2 times per battle.
Requirements: User must be an Admiral & +500 Speed
Point Cost: 5

Technique Name: Catching the Blade
Description: The user is literary able to catch an opponent's blade without taking damage. They can hold on to the blade making their enemy stay in range of attack. This can only be used twice per battle
Requirements: User must be an Admiral and know Admiral Deflection
Point Cost: 10

Technique Name: Fleet Admiral Shield
Description: The user is able to reflect one attack back at the opponent much like tekkai it involves strengthening the body as well as matching the momentum of the attack. This cannot be a cursed fruit attack. This can only be used once per battle.
Requirements: User must be the Fleet Admiral and know Catching the Blade & +500 Spirit

Technique Name: Pre-Pacifista
Description: The user learns to make a person into a rough pacifista equipping them with some cyborg like parts. They gain +300 Strength, Defense, and Accuracy while like this. This equipment lasts for 8 posts and can be used once a fight.
Requirements: Must be a Mechanic & have 20 Steel chunks and a Tool Kit and +300 Intelligence
Point Count: 10

Technique Name: Laser Grid
Description: The user learns to incorporate light laser technology into their inventions that can apply.
Requirements: Must be a Mechanic & +350 Intelligence
Points Length: 10

Technique Name: Alpha Buster Call
Description: As an Admiral, they have a higher priority over most other issues when calling in a Buster Call on a Golden Den-Den Mushi. Now after activating the Golden Den-Den Mushi, a complex process of orders are pushed to top priority through the Marine HQ that takes 15 posts. After that time if the user is still in a fight and/or fighting, A fleet of Marine Battle Ships will arrive at the area and destroy everything currently in that area except for the one who called the Buster Call. Anyone caught in this attack will be unable to fight or perform any task for 72 hours. This can only be used if your opponents experience is equal to or higher than yours and only against pirates and/or bounty hunters. Can be used once a week.
Requirements: Must be ranked an Admiral or Above & have a Golden Den-Den Mushi and Know Buster Call

Technique Name: Buster Call
Description: After activating the Golden Den-Den Mushi, a complex process of orders are sent through the Marine HQ that takes 20 posts. After that time if the user is still in a fight and/or fighting, A fleet of Marine Battle Ships will arrive at the area and destroy everything currently in that area friend and foe alike. Anyone caught in this attack will be unable to fight or perform any task for 72 hours. This can only be used if your opponents experience is higher than yours and only against pirates and/or bounty hunters. Can be used once a week.

Technique Name: Absolute Identification
Description: The user as a ranking Vice Admiral is able to perfectly identify any pirate or marine they see and identify their skills and abilities on sight.
Requirements: Must be a Vice Admiral & have +150 Intelligence
Point Cost: 5

Technique Name: Ten Step Strategy
Description: The user rolls a 10 sided dice. The result of the roll is how many posts ahead you have planned in a fight. On the number post that you have rolled, your attack will hit without fail under normal conditions. This move only works on people who have an intelligence less than 25 of yours. Can be used once a fight.
Requirements: Must be a Vice Admiral & have +220 intelligence

Description: For a brief moment the user gains the strength of a Giant multiplying it by 10 overall and is able to lift entire battle ships. This technique only lasts for one post and cannot be in congruence with anymove that makes an auto-hit. Can be used once per day.
Requirements: Must be a Vice-Admiral or higher

Description: The user punches the opponent, smacking their entire body, which does not include the head, underground. The opponent is then a sitting duck.

Technique Name: Garp Strength
Description: The user is able to grab and throw immensely large objects as well as block an incoming blunt object using pure strength. This can only be used twice per battle.
Requirements: The user must be a Vice-Admiral and know Grounding Punch & have +60 Strength
Point Cost: 5

Technique Name: Iron Fist Meteor
Description: The user learns to throw cannonballs like baseballs instead of using a cannon and from their strength, the impact and damage is more than if it were shot from a cannon.
Requirements: Must be a Vice-Admiral & +100 Strength and +60 Accuracy
Point Cost: 5

Technique Name: Iron Fist Meteor Shower
Description: The user throws 100 cannonballs at a target in the distance. Roll a 100 sided dice, the result is how many were on mark. Can be used once a fight.
Requirements: Must be a Vice-Admiral & Know Iron Fist Meteor

Description: The user stabs themselves or inflicts heavy damage in another manner so that they can be distracted. This can negate the power of the Mero Mero Fruit as well as Weapon Amnesia and Mental Block and other similar techniques. This technique can only be used once per battle.

Description: The user stomps on the ground creating a slight tremor around the entire area throwing off everyone's ranged accuracy (including the users) by -25 for the next two posts.

Description: Two simultaneous attacks thrown at the same target from different angles.
Requirements: Must be Giant
Point Cost: 5

Technique Name: Colossal Gravity
Description: A downward attack that increases their strength by +50 for the strike.
Requirements: Must be Giant and know Big Stomp Quake
Point Cost: 5

Technique Name: Gigantic Force
Description: An attack with enough force that if the users strength is higher than the opponents defense by the least, it breaks through easily.
Requirements: Must be Giant and know Colossal Gravity

Description: The user becomes a physical and mental safe protecting any and all of their secrets. Doing this prevents opponents from mimicking or making you forget your techniques. This can be used twice a fight.

Description: A powerful open-palm thrust with extreme spiritual force. This is powerful enough to send an opponent flying back many yards and to block against most physical attacks combining Defense and Spirit. Can only be used 2 times a battle.

Description: A slow cut into the opponent which is powerful enough to slice off an opponent's body part.
Requirements: The user must be a Navy Captain, have a battle axe, and know Axe-Hand Slash.

Description: The user can make their slashes faster and more precise, but they deliver less damage.
Requirements: The user must be a Navy Captain, have a battle axe, and know all of Captain Morgan's technniques.

Description: The user makes a right angle cut in the air with his sword, and then swings it, sending a rectangular cut forward. This makes a clean, rectangular cut on whatever it hits.

Technique Name: Right Angle Bouncing Cut
Description: The user slashes the air and propels a beam-shaped cut at the enemy. The cut is able to bounce off the air on a sharp angular turn

Description: The user can find the weak spot in almost any structure or weapon they can analyze for one post and find its weakest point allowing them to be able to break it in one hit. Can be used once a fight

Description: Another form of Hypnotism where after wards for both fighters next attack they must make a 6 sided dice roll. If the result is even, the attack continues as planned. If odd, the attack backfires somehow back towards the attacker. Can be used once a fight.
