Las Camp is a port town Island, the Marines have set up a base here, however Pirates have been known to land here anyway even with the threat of being captured, Las Camp is also known for being one of the Islands that is close to the Grand Line entrance and so usually Pirates, Marines, Bounty Hunters and the kind stop here before moving onto the Grand Line.

Through a dense fog, Kenasai's boat arrived at Las Camp. It had been twelve years since he had left. Kenasai wondered what had changed, and what became of the townsfolk who resided near the old smithy. Soon enough, Kenasai would have his answer. He says to Saya, “I'm going out Saya… I'll need you to watch the ship.” Saya replies, “Hmph. Fine. Go out and leave me here. It's not like I'm hungry or anything.” Kenasai sighs, then he extends his hand out toward Saya saying, “Fine, but stay close to me…” She squealed as she grips his arm with both of hers. He states, “You have an odd habit of hanging onto my arm, you know that?” She sticks her young he out as he thinks to himself, (and she's supposed to be the older one.) The two descend from the ship onto the dock, which was fairly deserted. She gets close to Kenasai. He could tell she was on edge, so he allowed her to remain at that distance. Soon enough the two make it into a clearing within the fog, revealing a fairly prosperous town. The surprised Saya states, “Wow! When you said we were visiting your hometown, I expected something a bit… I don't know… bleeker? But once you make it through the fog it's a cute little town!” Kenasai stands there quietly glaring at the marines who were wandering around the town. They still had their grip over this island, he thought to himself. He began to walk toward the town center observing the lack of change to the town. He even noticed a few familiar faces, albeit older faces, but the features were recognizable. With his back to Saya, he says, “Go ahead and do some shopping. We have some Beli on hand, so get yourself something nice. I'm gonna go check out something personal…” she stares at his back, responding, “Okay. Just don't be long… You've been behaving… differently since we've arrived… I don't want you to get yourself into any trouble if you don't have to…” Kenasa puts his hand on her head. A small grin stretches across his face, as he replies, “don't you worry. I'll be back in time to carry the larder back to the ship.” she blushes as she receives the Beli on his person. She fades away into the crowd as he makes his way to the island cemetery. He first has to travel down this long winding trail that traverses through the woods. Along the way, he sees a familiar face. A childhood friend whom he hadn't seen since he had left Las Camp. He walks by the man without saying a word. The man turns around giving Kenasai a strange look with a sense of curiosity, trying to figure out where he'd seen him before. Kenasai continued onward to the cemetery, finally reaching its front gate. He walks through as a loud creaking echoes from the hinges. He gazes around until he finds a headstone that reads, 'here lie the Kunomi family. Burnt alive in eachothers arms. Ashio Kunomi, beloved father. Hiriko Kunomi, beloved mother. Kenasai Kunomi, beloved son.’ The truth was unknown to anybody on the island. The clouds above began to emit rain unto the island of Las Camp. A series of slashes caught Kenasai's attention, causing him to turn around. Behind him was the same man he just passed on the way up. He gets a closer look at Kenasai's face, finally realizing who he was. He mutters to himself, “It really is you… You're actually alive…” Kenasai turns away, calmly saying, “You must be mistaking me for somebody else.” he puts his hand on Kenasai's shoulder and says, “I know exactly who I'm talking to… Kenasai Kunomi.” Lightning suddenly begins to strike in the background, illuminating the area in brief moments. He slightly turns to his friend, saying, “Sota… You can't let anybody else know that I'm alive…” Sota, now confused inquires why that is the case. Kenasai answers, “Marines may inflict the same wound unto you as they did to myself and my family… Besides, I'm no longer Kenasai the Blacksmiths son, I'm now Kenasai the Swordsman.” Sota stood there in astonishment over how much Kenasai had grown up in the time he was gone. Kenasai asks Sota, “The Marine leader that had a sword forged by my father; is he still here?” Sota shakes his head, unaware of his current location, but informs Kenasai about the story he fed the village about the fire consuming Kenasai and his parents. Tightly gripping his fists, he responds, “Yeah, that sounds about right. Burning away an entire crime scene makes it easier to hide the evidence of ones own corruption.” Sota seemed confused, leaving Kenasai no choice but to explain it in detail. “That man asked my father to produce a series of faulty weapons for an underground trading scheme to weaken some rebels. My father had declined as it would tarnish our family's good name. The man shot him in the shoulder, asking him once again if he would comply, but once again, he said no. The man lost his patience as well as his temper, firing a round between his eyes. My mother and I watched this transpire. In a blind rage, I lunged at him landing a solid punch, but I was only nine. It was like being hit by a small rock. All I did was make him angry. So in turn, he took his anger out on my mother. At first, he started to strip her, but when she spit on his cheek, he drew the sword my father had previously forged for him, and with a single swing, took her head clean off. I was beside myself. I was alone in this world. But, I still had my instincts, which told me I had to run. I had to survive. I wound up stowing away on a ship that took me all the way to the East Blue, where I spent my last twelve years training in the art of the sword.” Sota was at a loss for words. If the marines were lying about this, what else have they been lying about. He began trembling with tightly clenched fists. He looked up to the sky and says aloud, “We need to make things right Kenasai. We need to tell the town the truth about what happened. As for my well being, well… I guess I'll have to tag along with you!” Kenasai turns with a surprised look on his face. He starts to move his mouth, but is immediately cut off by Sota, “We have to do this Kenasai. This has become a Marine Controlled town. That man is who they report to with their den den mushi. All the citizens… Our friends… they've been lied to all this time! They have a right to know the truth! Only you can take them on head to head.” Kenasai made peace with Sota's resolve. The trick is, telling the towns people about the corrupt marines without the marines turning their weapons on the citizens. Kenasai suddenly thought up a brilliant scheme that can achieve all this and more. Two hours later, Kenasai informs Saya in on the plan, telling her that the ship must be ready to sail at a given moment. She agrees and hurries back to the ship. Sota was already in place where Kenasai directed him to be. All that was left was for Kenasai to tip the first Domino. He walked passed a Marine, swiping his den den mushi. He spoke into it within range of the marine, “Hey Jack Off, this is Kenasai formerly from Las Camp, let me ask you, how is my father's sword?” A silence dulls the moment. The marine that had his den den mushi stolen looked over in shock over the choice of words he used to speak to a higher up in the marines. Suddenly, den den mushis were going off one after another. The marines started to gather around Kenasai. The man in charge had ordered his immediate execution. Kenasai smirks, drawing his new sword which Saya had purchased for him earlier. Under his breath, he utters the words, “Stealth Walk…” he suddenly disappeared from the center of the marine circle, appearing in the direction leading toward his burnt down home. He says aloud, “Catch me if you can!” suddenly dashing toward the building remains. The marines all started chasing him, leaving nobody to watch the civilians. This was when Sota can speak of the atrocities that occurred that night. Once the marines had cornered Kenasai at a Cliffside that his home overlooked, Kenasai once again uttered the words, “Stealth Walk…” disappearing yet again. He had made it passed the marines, as he now stands between them and the town. He starts to take them outbone by one with his sword skills, doing everything within his power to keep them from hearing the speech. After a good long while, the now exhausted Kenasai had finally finished off all but one of them. The man lay there helpless, fully aware that he would suffer the same fate. Kenasai got close to the marine, stabbing his hand with his sword. In pain, the marine lets out a blood curdling shriek. Kenasai began to interrogate the man, “You have nothing left to go back to. The town is being informed of your transgressions as We speak. I'll give you ask you some questions before you die. Now, where is your boss, what is his name and what is his current rank?” The man was terrified over his imminent demise. He decided to tell him what he wanted to know, only to instill as much fear as he could. The man said, “Somewhere in the Grand Line… Knix Terrial… Vice-Admiral… That's right, he's a big fish in the marines and he will avenge his men, no matter wha--” Kenasai stabbed the man through his heart, ending his life. He had more to go on now than when he had arrived earlier. A faint ringing began to echo from one of the bodies. Kenasai knew it was one of their den den mushi, which also meant it was likely Knix checking in to see if they fulfilled their orders. He pressed the shell, listening for a voice. The familiar voice of Knix caused Kenasai to shiver. Knix stated, “You've clearly grown stronger kid. But you'll never be able to get to me, let alone beat me. If you know what's good for you, you'd off yourself, cause trust me… if I manage to get my tight grip around you, you'll wish you were dead… *click*” the den den mushi had gone silent. Kenasai refused to back down from this. That man will pay in blood for his transgressions. It was time to reconvene with Sota to discuss further matters. Once he made it back to the town, a crowd of people swarmed him. At first, he thought he was under attack, but he soon recognized a multitude of faces within the crowd. This was proof that Sota had gotten the word out. It was now time for the town to evolve. Through the night, Kenasai and the Town Head as well as a select council planned out defenses as a precaution for Knix clear through the night. Saya and Sota spent a lot of time together talking about Kenasai, his side referring to Kenasai before he left Las Camp and her side referring to Kenasai from the point of his arrival at Shimotsuki Island to now. Some of the stories being passed around were actually pretty embarrassing, not like he was paying attention. All that mattered was his intent to secure his home. It was about a week in the making, but the town now had walls to keep out intruders. Saya even managed to teach some of the towns people to do basic kendo. All that was left to do was plan out a security roster so the towns people can always feel safe and secure. Another two days passed, but now the village can remain secure. It was now time for Kenasai and Saya to leave the island. But first things first, Kenasai had to make a trip back to the cemetery. There, at the revised grave of his parents, Kenasai made a vow he planned to keep, even at the cost of his life. He states, “By the Kunomi family's honor, I Kenasai Kunomi do hereby swear to take the head of Vice Admiral Knix. I won't be returning home until then… So mom… Dad… watch over Las Camp while I'm gone… It was… Great talking to you again…” Kenasai left the grave, finally making it to the ship. There waiting for him were Saya and Sota. Kenasai stops in front of them, wondering what they were up to. Turns out Sota had something that would change Kenasai's life forever. He had a small chest that belonged to Kenasai's father. It was one of the only things to survive the fire. When Kenasai opened the chest, he was surprised to see what looked to be a devil fruit. He began to wonder why his father had a devil fruit, but it wasn't the time to ask questions. He grabbed the fruit and ate it whole. His pupils shrank for a brief moment. He felt this surge of raw power. It felt like electricity coursing through his veins. Kenasai instantly knew that this was the power he was lacking. Like that, he thanked Sota, but requested that he remained behind. He needed somebody he trusted to watch over the town. Sota gratefully accepted. Thus, Kenasai and Saya set sail to another island. Unsure what their next phase of action was going to be.
