June

1st - Summer's Day
Cook outs and fishing are popular.
9th - Garuna Haa'uun
A holiday honoring crafting related jobs. Everybody gets a level up on one skill - provided that it is not already at the max cap of level 100.
27th - Char D'Luu Night
On this night the epic of Char D'Luu is recited before all. She single-handedly defeated a pirate dragon and his fleet using her wits and a blue box. On this holiday intelligence and cunning are celebrated. It is also full of cultural festivals.

July

7th - Empire Day
This is the day that we celebrate the reunification of the Fofaf Empire by alliance, marriages, and constitution. Nobody really remembers when the Empire originally formed, but this day celebrates the reunification.
14th Midsummer's Eve
A rowdy festival full of mirth, laughter, and parties. Fireworks and bonfires are the norm.
15th Midsummer's Day
All day parties and cookouts continue.

August

17th - Night of Lunar Transience
The twin moons go by many names throughout the Empire: Ma and Mewl, Hunter and Puc, Khai and Thul, etc. It is on this night that the smaller of two of the planet's moons is in front of its orbital partner. Tides are high, and fishing is at its prime. Fished and water based dungeons provide double pay out during this day.
28th-30th - Blood Moon Rising
The three nights of the year that the ominous blood red moon peeks up over the horizon and menaces those who live in the northern hemisphere. It is a night of primal fear and meteor showers. The monsters double in number, as do the word requirements. Thankfully, the doubling also means twice as many rewards.

December
1st - Wintertide
The first day of winter is often celebrated by decorating everything from the knockers to the rafters in varying degrees of winter themed decorations. Tackiness and Stylishness is a matter of personal choice. Some people opt to extend this to decorating themselves, their animals, and basically everything they can.
13th-25th - 12 Nights of Christmas
31st - Darkhulan's Night
Darkhulan was a mighty man of science and mana. He was the creator of many wonderful things, including the Elsewhere Rings that allow instantaneous travel from one continent to another, Draggasale, and the Alchemist's Gem. On this night a thousand years or more ago he was on a journey to see the fabled Darkwood Temple and confronted a dire threat to the Fofaf people. This night is celebrated with fireworks and festivals that continue into the next day.

January

1st - Darkhulan's Victory
It was at the dawn of this day Darkhulan defeated the wicked chaos titan, Bludfeng the Cruel, and did much harm to his foul troops of monsters. While some of the monsters' descendants still harass the Fofaf today, they are but a fraction of their original number and strength. Darkhulan died later on of his injuries and his will had him placed in The Alchemist's Tomb.
6th - Sansero
A day that all skills are celebrated and intelligence is praised. Craft shows, sparring contests, cooking contests, and poetry readings are common. Food and Drink items are half off on this day. Gain +1 level any skill for free. 5 points for INT for your post that is over 300 words on this day.
22nd - Metalos' Day
On this deep winter day a kind titan lent his aid to a community of Fofaf and saved their lives from a ferocious onslaught of wicked dragons. He gave his life that they might live, and he won.

February

14th - Heart to Heart
A day to celebrate love itself. It is a companion holiday to Sweetheart. Candies, Cakes, and other sweets are popular on this day. Traditionally boys give chocolates and gifts to their sweethearts.
17th - Tax Day
This is the day that the tax season begins. Tax quests pay out double until the end of the tax season, which is New Year's Eve - February 28th.
19th - Moon Swallows Moon
The day of the year that the smaller of the twin moons is eclipsed by its 'parent'. This is taken as an ominous sign and monsters double in number. So do their payouts. Tides are high at this time.
28th - New Years Eve
A day of ruckus and mirth. Pop a cork of your favorite beverage and make merry. Also a day of making amends and peace with anybody you have wronged or pay off your debts, just to clear your conscience or to simply get a fresh start. It is also the last day of the Tax Season. If you participated in any quests, especially the Tax Quests, get double payout.
29th - Leap Day
In years that there is a 29th day to February, this day is celebrated. Usually by drinking, games, drinking games, brawling, and sometimes hunting. Basically, it is treated as a Day that Never Was and nobody is expected to work or do anything beyond entertaining themselves and each other. Movies and plays are also popular. Some people throw parties. This day takes place between New Year's Eve and New Year's Day in this situation.
