Philip  Philip was dragged back into the aquatic floor after a guard had taken him out for a bit of exercise. The merman didn't fight this anymore, he had gotten used to being used and tossed back into the tank when they finished with him. As he was taken back to his designated tank his tail formed once again and he sank back down as he hit the water. Since the loss of his child the merman had been depressed though no one really seemed to understand why. The slave traders that caught him hadn't informed the others that the child he had died before they could bring them both to the shop, all they had said was that Philip was a breeder rare among his species and wonderful for a master that wanted children but didn't want a woman in the picture. As of yet, the merman had managed to remain sterile something he would continue to do while men he didn't know continued to use him to attempt to make him breed with them. The silver scales male knew the game. If he bore them young the offspring would end up being sold to other buyers in the hopes that those children could also breed. He might not be sold if that were the case as well since he would be producing a better income for the shops by remaining there to breed younger mermaids and men that would be brought up as slaves and would know no other life.

xxxxxGang Lord of the Street Kings Callum had browsed for awhile, trying to find a suitable slave. He could go out and find someone on the street to bond with, but that was too much work and he wasn't willing to be reminded of how he met Myra. The demon was still hung on her death despite the quick vengence he dealt to her murderers. As he was entering the aquatic floor, he noticed one of the mermen being returned to his tank. One reason he didn't like it here was because of how ******** up the guards were. He'd kill them all if he didn't have to keep up appearances. But, the merman they returned was nice to look at. His tail was appealing. Silver, just like his and Sarah's hair. He looked...depressed. No wonder he hadn't been bought yet. Who wanted a depressed pet?
Callum did. Callum would love to help the male recover. Earn his trust and affection. Problem was, he didn't know if the merman would be good to his daughter. Well, the only way to find out was to ask. He'd know if the merman was lying. Walking up to the tank, Callum tapped the glass to get the other's attention, completely ignoring the guards. The demon looked at the brief info sheet that told him the slave's name and his finer traits. Philip, and he's a breeder. Literally all it says....That tells me nothing of real importance. Being able to bare children wasn't the same as being good with them. "You look very ill. Is it your depression, or are you not being fed enough?"[[ best i have....not very good with pick-ups myself. ]]

Philip Philip glanced at the man that tapped on his tank letting out a small sigh as he flicked his tail and moved to a small shelf so he could speak above the water. After all it was difficult for others to understand him when he spoke otherwise. "I am fed well enough, it is depression. Im tired of being here. Being used by the guards though I cant blame them." He said softly looking down knowing that it wasn't their fault he had been caught. "My child was killed by the men that caught me, I had been too weak to care for my newborn, well egg, not recovering from the difficulty of laying it. The men here hope that I will bare a child for them to sell off." ((its okay ))

xxxxxGang Lord of the Street Kings Callum listened to the merman. When he heard about the other's child, the first thing that popped into his head was sympathy. But, that quickly faded. He'd sympathize more later. Probably. "Is it safe to say you're good with children then? Or, did you never get the chance to learn? If not, then there'll be plenty of time for you to learn. I have no problems bringing you home with me as long as you can at least be nice to my daughter. Think you can do that, Philip?"[[ ooc ]]

Philip "That was my first child, I recently had come into the proper age to bare a child safely, though we don't get to really keep the children we bare until we find someone we wish to become a mate to. I have spent time around children, but I don't know how I would do with them for long periods." He said before thinking things over. When he heard the other had a child already the merman raised an eyebrow before questioning the man. "You want me to take care of this child, when the mother should be present or was that woman used to breed with?" Philip wasn't sure what the situation was he figured that those on land had similar reasons when they had children as his kind did. Since the man before him seemed interested in him, Philip had to think the man liked other males or he would have picked a female out again. So based on the logic he had, he believed that his 'master' only paired with the woman so he could have a child. Some men had done that before from what he understood, men from his community had done so. Heck the child he had tried to bring to the world was produced with one such male.

I have no set preference; I am attracted to both men and women. However, having another girl in the house would make Sarah jealous. Philip "I apologize, I wasn't aware the woman had been your mate. I thought your kind was similar to mine when it came to children. Do forgive me." Philip was sorry he had upset the man and brought up a sore subject. Hearing that the other was attracted to both men and women caught him off guard. but he was able to hide that surprise. "Would you bring someone home that isn't interested in you then? Just for the sake of having a companion?" Philip himself found this man interesting if only because he came to speak with him. "Your the first person to show any interest in me besides the men that work here. I would be happy I suppose to go with you even if I don't know you that well."

xxxxxGang Lord of the Street Kings The demon shrugged. He wasn't really angry or upset about Philip's assumptions. It was expected in some small way. That didn't mean Myra wasn't a sore topic, of course, but he wasn't unwillig to talk about it. "Hm?...I don't see why not. Sooner or later, you'll have to grow fond of me in some way." Hearing Philip say he was willing to come with him, Callum gave a smile. "Great~." Looking at the guards, who had moved away during the conversation, Callum sighed. Now he had to talk to them. Walking up to the pair of men, Callum confirmed he would be purchasing Philip before returning to the tank with the paperwork. He signed and paid, though the guard didn't seem too thrilled that Philip was leaving. Looking back at Philip as he was about to be let out of the tank, Callum gave a charming smile. "Callum Villiers."[[ i'm assuming from the first post philip has a human form? ]]

Philip "Perhaps I will but I might not. I do find you interesting at least which is more then I can say for others here. You came to see me even though I am someone others didn't want. Do you see something others don't I wonder or was it curiosity." As he watched the man start to leave Philip remained where he was and waited to be let out. When the man returned and he was released he looked at the guard for a moment knowing he wouldn't see this man again. He smiled before going up to the guard and putting a hand on his shoulder. "Perhaps some day you will find someone yourself. While you were just doing what your fellow guards did, you were kinder then the rest for that I thank you." Turning back to Callum he smiled before speaking as the other told him his name. "Callum, does this mean I am to call you that instead of master?" ((that is correct ^^))

He doesn't deserve to even be looked at, much less someone to love." Philip asked if he was to call him by his name, and Callum nodded. "Yes. I'd rather my daughter didn't know where you came from. If she asks, we've been spending time together for a few months. Let's get going. I still need to stop by the store and get some things. She'll kill me if I forget to buy more Cookie Crisps." Callum grabbed Philip's wrist softly, nearly pulling him from the building. He wanted to get out of here.[[ ooc ]]

Philip "Is that how you treat all of the men around you? with scorn and distain?" Philip asked shaking his head at the man that had just bought him. "That particular guard only is doing this job because he has sick parents at home and he is the only one providing for them. His family needs him. With your words.." Philip shook his head not wanting to think about the three lives he might have hurt just by saying something that might not mean much to him. "I don't think I can say that. If we have been spending time together, I would have to like and know more about you then I do. All I do know is your name and that you have a daughter, who seems to rather enjoy sugary foods." Philip didn't pull away as Callum grabbed his wrist and hauled him out of the shops. ((Do they even still make cookie crisps? I haven't had any for ages nor have I seen commercials for them or reeses puffs.))

xxxxxGang Lord of the Street Kings Callum didn't care why the man was working there. The fact that he was going to sell his own flesh and blood for a few bucks pissed the demon off. Sure, Callum killed kids to get people to talk, but he'd never sell them to slavery. Especially his own. "He's a pathetic rapist who sells his own kids. I'd slaughter him if he was my son, or just commit suicide. I don't care why he's working here. He can rape how many of the slaves as he wants, too. I draw the line at selling kids to slavery." Callum walked out with Philip and listened as Philip said he wasn't going to lie about how or when they met. "Austin. My middle name is Austin. That's all she'll ask. No one knows that except me and her. She won't ask anything else than that. Sarah isn't as curious as others her age. Asking questions is something she knows not to do. In my line of work, it can get people hurt." Callum opened the car door for Philip, smiling at him. "If she asks anything else about the two of us, tell her it's rude to ask questions."[[ ooc ]]

Master: Angel Miscs ° ° ° ° ° ° ° ° ° ° ° ° ° ° ° ° ° ° ° ° Tatsumi sat still near a closed window, wondering if another slave was going to bother him. It was usually the newbies who did. Generally, he would be in the main floor, but today he felt like being near his own kind, but not interacting with them. Filled with merman, water nymphs, sirens, and other aquatic species, the room was large enough to hold a few cages but the slaves are aloud to walk around freely as long as they stayed in their designated rooms or the main floor. The water nymph looked around at the browsing masters, not interested at all. Clenching his fists and jaw tightly, he struggled to keep his composure as he thought about his last master. The other slaves around him stayed clear of him, knowing he was like a ticking time bomb if they bothered him. They didn't want to be the person to get the brunt of his rage if he went off.

His hands were stuffed into his pockets as his eyes skimmed around for anyone to peek his interest. He was mostly looking for someone to clean for him, cook for him, and other things while he was out. He ended up in the water-people place, or so he called it. They controlled water, or were water, or whatever, so it was easier for them to clean, yeah? He was searching around, when one male stood out. A smile crept across his face as he walked over to him. Others seemed to be steering away from him, but he didn't know why. Angel gave a small wave before he began to speak.
"Yo! What's your name?"
He asked, sliding his hand back into his pocket. "I want to be loved, not desired..."
