Phoenix looked at Mitsu setting the boy down when the were outside of his mansion. "Well, this is home Mitsukini. As for a car, Ive never really needed one. When you have wings why use any other way to travel?" He nodded when the other thanked him for not going too fast. "Why don't we get you inside, I don't want you to be too stressed out, not good for the baby you know." He said after a moment moving towards the front door and unlocking it. "Welcome home Mitsu. Well, home for now. Do you want to look around or rest in your room right away?"

The firebird picked up on the other's dislike of the nickname and he sighed. "Im sorry I wont use that name if you don't wish for me to do so." Running a hand through his hair Phoenix nodded. "Sure, though this place can be a bit big for a newcomer. If you want me to stay with you I can. Besides, you don't know where the kitchen is anyways." Phoenix said with a smile before opening the door and holding it so that the other could enter first. "I just ask that you don't go into the master bedroom if you decide to explore on your own."

"Its alright, I should have asked first Mitsukini. I would rather give you the tour so you don't go into my room." There was another room that was off limits as well, but it was locked and he figured the other wouldn't go inside. He didn't like going in only because it reminded him of the past. "If you mean because Im not interested in you physically, I guess its a good thing. I just lost my mate Im not ready to be in some kind of relationship with anyone, let alone a boy who clearly loves someone else and is carrying that man's child." Phoenix crossed his arms over his chest a bit unhappy that the other thought that he would go so far as to do something like that. "Well, lets start this tour of yours." Sure the older male had liked the silver haired teen, but he wasnt about to get into a relationship with anyone just then. "Look Mitsukini, Your cute and all, and under normal circumstances I would have been happy to get to know you, to get into a relationship with you, but I cant right now. For a few reasons."

"Really, that is all you meant about it?" He asked feeling rather foolish. "Im sorry Mitsukini it was stupid of me to think you meant anything more. I guess I have been alone for so long I didn't even think. What could you want with someone like me anyways. I bought you after all, you probably want nothing to do with me. Once your well enough you will leave once again and I can get back to hunting those slave traders." Phoenix shook his head and looked away. "Why don't I let you do that tour alone? Any locked door is off limits and I will be in my own room so you wont have to worry about it." With that the male turned away from the teen and went up to the master bedroom. As soon as he was in the room he changed into his bird form sitting on the headboard and looking out the window watching the setting sun. This was one of his favorite spots, his mate's too.

Phoenix remained where he was able to hear where the young warlock was in his home. It seemed that the teen had found the kitchen without that much trouble and he was glad. He would need to get more food if there was two of them staying there, possibly three if Mitsukini remained in the mansion for longer then a few weeks. If the baby was born in the mansion it might take longer for the other to recover so he could return to his family. That reminded the bird that he needed to tell the teen just where they were. His home was protected now thankfully so only he could find it or if someone he was close to. Thanks to a warlock he knew that was a friend of his former mate.

As the sun set below the water Phoenix started to glow slightly thanks to his feathers. He had always loved that about his feathers, his mates had been silver while his was gold. Their child, it would have been a mixture of both. Oh how he would have loved to see his child grow up to fly for the first time, do everything that a phoenix was supposed to do.

Growing tired, Phoenix put his head under his wing readying himself for sleep knowing that the teen in his kitchen could find the guest bedroom since he had wandered around his mansion for awhile already.

Phoenix turned to the door when he heard it open and listened to what the teen had to say. The man turned bird nodded his head and watched as the other left once more. Letting out a sigh Phoenix thought over what the other had told him. It was his own fault that their semi good start had taken a bad turn only because of his assumption on what the other had meant. He wasn't going to do anything like that again. At the same time he wasn't sure if it was wise for him to get close to this guest anyways. After all, in a few weeks the teen would be ready to leave and he would probably never see Mitsu again.

Phoenix woke the next morning to a knock on his door. The bird let out a chirp before remembering that humans don't understand what he is saying. 'Come in Mitsukini.' He thought to the other for a moment before looking out the window. Flying to the ground he started to shift even as the warlock entered his room. "Did you sleep well? Im sorry I wasn't much help last night, your the first person that has been allowed into my home since my mate died."
