Starts here
This conflict originates in the ignoring of the appropriate actions of what Superman did when striking the Black Beetle in the chest. Superman using super speed and reflexes appropriately dodged the hand held by the Black Beetle. Which would even with the effects of Kryptonite would have hit the Black Beetle with over 30 tons of force. And been enough force to lift the armor locked beetle from his footing and into The Darkness and continue on through the energy field and causing the two to sprawl onto the ground.

The reason for this logic is that a Scarab's energy bubble would not easily withstand such a blow from one body, let alone 2 bodies moving at incredible speed and force. Though even if it could handle it, the second hit from Supeman escaping the bubble would have shattered it easily.

As Superman has been shown to be able to break through even the toughest constructs and barriers with ease. Making even dedicated force fields made by Brainiac or a willful Hal Jordan or Sinestro struggle in and on many occasion fail in holding off Superman.

Powers in play:

○ Superhuman Strength: The exact limits of Superman's strength is unknown, but he is capable lifting far in excess of 100 tons. Different periods and intensities of exposure to Earth's solar radiation can cause his strength to fluctuate over time. Superman's known feats include lifting an enormous pyramid and flying it to Mars without any strain, physically defeating Darkseid in combat, moving Earth away from the Sun while Starbreaker was pushing it toward the Sun, and having the strength necessary to shatter small planets Unhealthy levels of high exposure to specific radiation can exceed Superman's "normal" strength level.

○ Superhuman Speed:He is capable of moving, reacting, running and flying at superhuman speeds. While not as fast as the Flash on a planet, Superman can fly at speeds faster than light and is considered one of the fastest beings in the universe. He can use this power to disarm opponents, catch bullets or shrapnel and cross vast distances in seconds.

VS.

○ Energy Bubble :
The armor is able to create a temporary energy bubble around Mira and/or people nearby. The bubble shields those inside from outside attacks, but prevents them from leaving. A Flash who tries to vibrate through it will find themselves blasted by the bubble.

○ Armor Reconfiguration:
The armor can reconfigure itself to create a wide array of tools and weapons, including an energy cannon, a sword and shield, a grappling hook, an energy blaster, claws, wings, and a set of large powered blades attached to the hands, over a foot in length, that can shear through tree trunks.

The armor's equipment is mutable to a certain extent, most noticeably in the wings; initially, they were composed of the same solid 'carapace' which comprises the rest of the suit, but later, they began manifesting themselves in the form of a colorless, translucent material. Whether this is because of changes in the suit's capabilities, or because Mira intended the alteration, has not been made clear.

My counter-argument. Your character isn't Superman. He's only Superman by title. He doesn't know or understand the full extent of his powers, and as such, under exposure of Kryptonite for the first time, he would likely be unable to function properly. As such, it is safe to say that, as soon as Mira began radiating Kryptonite from her armor, your character's abilities would drastically drop, to the point of even being unable to operate at full strength, and as such, be unable to move Mira in her armor-locked state.

You know s**t is about to go down when Roxas breaks out the size 9 font...

Anyway, thanks for bringing this up and I hope that I can settle this to everyone's satisfaction and as quickly as possible. To make this easier, I'm going to break it down into sections; these sections will talk about each person and how I see flaws have come about due to actions by each person (or inaction as the case may be) and then my final section will be an ultimatum. You may choose to take the Ultimatum way out. However, it is a choice, if you choose to continue on with the fight with a better understanding of eachother then I cannot stop you. If you complain about eachother again, well, then I will be TELLING people how to do their s**t and how the fight will finish and who wins and yadda yadda yadda. Are we following me so far? Yes? Good, then let's begin!

Josh's Points and Faults
Look, I know it says faults and I don't mean to be a d**k but these are just some of the things that I am seeing that I believe could work and fix this. Because you aren't wrong, if you were at full strength you could probably knock the beetle off its feet and fly it into the barrier. I don't think you could bust through it because, well, it was made to contain you but I think you could do some decent damage to Witty's character by using his own weapon against him.

However, Witty is right. You aren't Superman.

I don't mean that you aren't Superman's Legacy because you are. What I mean to say is that you aren't the "Original" Man of Steel, Clark Kent, Kal-El etc. You're a Kryptonian whom has recently came into their powers and is still coming to grips with them in the long run; even Kara took quite a long time to adjust to life under the Yellow Sun. She is believed to be stronger than Superman because she was in close proximity to the sun in her pod for such a long time (Kryptonians get their powers from Yellow Sunlight, they're basically Solar Panels) but she can't apply it. She doesn't have the experience that Kal has and even though Atticus has some experience as a detective, you cannot say that that experience is in any way equal to that of Superman fighting the likes of Metallo or Brainiac every Wednesday. It just isn't and as such, you just aren't able to hit "near light speeds" (which by the way, are far too vague) or stand up to Kryptonite like you are. All you have to do is watch Superman movies and media to know that until he built up a sort of Semi-Tolerance (because even though he can fight it, it still weakens him and hurts like hell).

Kryptonite is deadly even to an experienced Superman; in the NEW52 a MICROSCOPIC piece not only cause him to have like a heat vision seizure but get a cold that eventually turned into a killer degenerative condition. Now, imagine a huge person (Mira masquerades as a man and therefore has masculine proportions).

Witty's Points and Faults
You have a point. However, as a Scarab, I know you can adapt but we need to have some points raised.

You need to make your intentions clearer and let us know that you have scanned opponents and put in counter measures. If you just say you erect a barrier, how are to know the strength and features of the weapons and barriers etc. So, just be a little more detailed in your posting (I know we're all rusty but it'd be helpful so we know).

All in All (The Ultimatum)
I rate that we walk away from this fight with Superman being brought down to Earth and realizing he isn't as strong as he is and Mira being hurt but walking away with a positive sense knowing that she tested Superman. Fair?

I can live with this and it sorta fits with the story I trying to right for Atticus with him trying to strive and be the beacon of hope Supermanwas and will give him even more reason to strive further and learning on how to become a better Superman.
