Weather: First Snow Fall, Cold but not too cold
Location: Winter Solstice Celebration in the Isle Center

Prompt:

Quote:

During the Winter Solstice Celebration, everyone and their mothers are out in the midst of the celebration! Most importantly, you can't have a party without food! Cooks from all over the island have prepared their special dishes! But with so many varieties, you can just ...get caught up!

With some very pushy vendors, both your characters have been tossed around, getting food stuffed in to their mouths and getting passed on to the next. Think- When the Grinch was being paraded around! Both characters have been pushed in to a similar situation!

Unknowingly next to each other, a vendor takes a fork full of noodles and jabs it in to each of your characters mouths, and just like the lady and the tramp- They are found each at the opposite ends of the same noodle!

Mikala was in love with this celebration! But with a belly growing completely stuffed, he was starting to feel as if he'd never see his beach again. Not if he was to be more pudgy than St. Nick! Oh what a sight he would be on his beautiful beach with such a belly, he snorted at the thought.

But as another shoved their tasty treat into his mouth, he groaned at the explosion of flavors, and let the dream of his beach melt away for this winter wonderland, as he followed the noodle, he found himself face to face with an unknown character.

Tessa hadn't been expecting the winter festival to be quite as lively as it was. Nor had she been expecting to be thrust around and stuffed like a turkey for thanksgiving dinner. If truth be told she was starting to feel almost a little sick by how much she had eaten. While it was a beautiful night and the food was simply decadent there was a lot of it and a lot of people.

She fluttered her wings slightly as she was twisted away from one vendor over to a different one who shoved a fork full of noodles into her maw making her blink slightly. The little flutter gave a soft sound of discontent at being handled quite so roughly but ate the food anyway. At least until she found herself face to face with a strange male. She squeaked and quickly pulled back breaking the noodle in the process as a flush heated up her cheeks.

"Oh goodness! I'm so sorry!" Tessa squeaked as she looked at the ground. "I didn't mean to invade your personal space like that!"

He chucked at her response, slurping up the rest of the noodle as he smiled and gave his head a light shake. "No no, your fine..It seems that is one of the rules of the celebration, that no one shall have personal space." He joked playfully.

"Though, I think I could use a break from all of this delicious food, before my sides burst from it all." He patted his fattened belly. "Wanna join me?"

Tessa gave a soft smile as she shuffled her foot in the dirt for a moment. "It does seem to be a common occurrence. Personal space doesn't seem to be a respected thing here." She stopped and shook her head. "Not that I'm complaining. I don't mind it, I was just amused by it is all."

She shifted to her feet rolling her shoulders and stretching for a moment before nodding. "I would love to. I could use a chance to move about and do something aside from eat. I feel as though I have gained a thousand pounds and won't be able to get off the ground later. Where shall we go?"
