I will admit I was confused at first even the thread title through me off. Is the Flying Joke the name of the blimp she is on which would make sense as to why it had a thread to it. Sorta how before when I owned the House of Mystery.
However the post to me resembles that of an event starting announcement and if we allow it to continue it should be made a mini in city Gotham event for Gotham heroes to and villains to deal with. Similar to the Reign of Fear or any other huge city wide announcement that effects the entire sub-forum as a whole.
However quoting is definitely a mandatory thing. I understand the desire to pm people as that does add a more personalized touch. However this is a guild, and quoting in the guild and bringing people's attention to active thread is important to activity. As anyone who gets the message whether they are in Gotham or even in another city could learn about it and come to help out Batman or take advantage of the confusion.
Side Bar: It is very likely that Batman would have tech capable of stopping this. Unless more detail is explained about the radar Jammer such as new tech from star labs.
