xxxxxxxxxxxxD e f i n i t i o n → Her abilities are derived from her mother's experimentation with venom and plant based poisons while working with HYDRA. Her goal was to create a toxin for use in biological warfare. An explosion while pregnant activated the latent mutant gene in Nightshade. Nightshade has the power to secrete or emit a lethal poison through her pores and other parts of her body.This poison is of unique origins and as such has no known cure. It's effects include sensitivity to light, loss of balance and blurred vision at stage one of infection, hallucinations and convulsions at stage two, and finally paralyzation. It's effects are very similar to that of Atropa Belladonna but also share characteristics with snake venom when Nightshade uses her power in a more tactile approach.
xxxxxxxxxxxxS t r e n g t h s → Isis's poison has no known cure, so naturally her enemies are at a disadvantage once they have been infected unless she reabsorbs the emission. Her entire eye shades over into a black pit when her powers are active. She can secrete the poison through her fingernails to scratch enemies during combat. The cuts left by scratch marks leave the victim with a burning sensation before they actually begin to feel the effects of the poison. Isis has practiced with the widespread aspect of her power meaning she can release this poison in the air around her within a 30ft radius in all directions. Her poison can also be breathed into a target through a kiss. This approach is favored when on undercover assignments to assassinate her targets without a hitch. Shield has helped Isis weaponize her poison by dipping her bullets, and knives in her own blood. Prolonged exposure to her poison in any manner leads to death, usually occurs an hour or two after the poison has been released into the bloodstream.
xxxxxxxxxxxxW e a k n e s s e s → The biggest weakness comes with the full out emission of her poison. She cannot control who it targets when she releases it in this manner, so everyone in her range of emission can potentially become a victim of her poison. Heavily armored or masked individuals are typically unable to be affected by her powers due to her poison being an invisible gas. These same enemies also have layers that could prevent her from using the tactile form of her powers or the weapons she has laced with the poison.
