Measurements: 35-23-33
Nationality: German
Style: Karate
Job: Student

Debut: DOA 3
Coming from a mixed German-Japanese heritage, Hitomi has practice karate her entire life. Though she lacks the king of bizarre or intricate background found with many of the other DOAU girls, Hitomi is still an interesting character thanks to her incredible determination to be the best. It's the fact that she doesn't have a brother in need and isn't seeking revenge from anyone that makes her a bit unique among the other girls.
Hitomi is the weakest fighter in terms of strength, but she makes up for this with incredible speed. If you can work your opponents close to walls, Hitomi has some truly devastating combos that can take an opponent down quickly, despite her lack of power. She also has some cool counters and is the "regular" girl of the competition.
We love Hitomi for her innocent look, her killer outfits, and her speed. Not originally in DOA 2, she shows up in Ultimate anyway. While it appears lovely Christie doesn't earn the same respect from Team Ninja, we're thrilled to see our favorite jean-jacketed gal showing up in Ultimate.
5 Ways To Love Hitomi
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
#5 The headband. What can we say, Hitomi's headgear gives her an almost Jennifer Aniston look and we love it.
#4 Blue-eyed girl. We're suckers for baby blue eyes. Hitomi has an innocent schoolgirl look which we admire for reasons that should land us in jail.
#3 The denim. Call us slaves to fashion, but we love the dressed-down look of Hitomi. Denim jeans and jacket show she's a working girl, not an debutante like some of the other women of DOAU.
#2 The underdog. America loves an underdog and last time the census came around, we were indeed counted as Americans. Hitomi lacks power, but makes up for it in speed. She's the least likely to win the tournament, but the one we pull for most.
#1 Karate Kid. It's not just the robe that sells it, Hitomi's got Hilary Swank in The Next Karate Kid written all over her. Sure, it's corny, but for some reason, it's also endearing.
