Hi there! I'm excited to see your upcoming work! ^^

I'm Mandy, and I'm v new to the whole visual novel thing but I'm quite liking it so far! I feel a general lack of VNs in general that are western, but I thought, hey, I'm already into art and music and such, so why not help create some if they're fun and don't require as much knowledge on gameplay? (: I always preferred a good ol' book (or fic hah) over a game myself, so the lack of levels and items and whatever never really bothered me but was a bonus, since it lets you focus on the story. I'm working with a team for a VN right now as an experimental thing (seeing how much workload it is and how people work together) before trying something of my own, and it's pretty fun! A lot of work though haha required me to really get organized. Well, that's my rambling haha looking forward to talking to you guys!

Oh yeah sure! Our team manager says our demo will be released on the 20th (; (at least that's the plan...I'm honestly a little behind hahh)

Hi! Thank you for inviting me to this group haha. My name's Cynical Lad here but I'm better known as Captain Mabe basically everywhere else. I've been working on VNs and the like for a solid year now. I have about 10 games in production atm. Orz I'm studying to be an architect/game dev, and VNs/RPGs are my passion. I've made 2 visual novels in my life and enjoyed making both of them (I used Ren'Py both times, making VNs is so easy with it <3). I kind of would like to make more someday but I'm not confident in my concentration skills lol

I also like to play visual novels and the latest one I played was Cherry Tree High Comedy Club. It was... not that good though. razz

First Visual Novel I played: I don't even remember anymore, I checked a bunch that were made with Ren'Py when I started my first VN

I am juice, or Ana on lemmasoft, but I don't really post on there, at all emo .
I've played around with Ren'Py for about 3 years, but I haven't made a complete visual novel just yet. However, I am really close to finishing one so far. Hopefully I can finish it before summer ends... sweatdrop

The first VN I've played is probably Sakura Wars: So Long my Love on the Wii (I think it can be considered one). But if we get really nitpicky, Tales of Symphonia's affection system is kind of similar to how many VNs work, so that'd have to be my actual first.
As for favourite VN, I don't really know if I have a favourite... I really want to play some of the Japanese ones that require the translation aggregator, but I haven't tried doing so yet.
And the engine I use is Ren'Py. I've been using it too long to get used to any other ones...

The name is Junjirou Juroujinju Junichi, (name of a character in my upcoming RPG game). Working full time, loves youtube poop, pizza, amateur pixel artist, writter but has bad english grammar, CG artist.... if you wanna know more, I'm a hentai CG artist. And I do THINGS!
Currently have 4 projects on the line, 1 is almost done, 2 ongoing, 1 on observation. heh3h3..,
I havent play visual novels for a long time and I dont wanna... I prefer to be the one who creates than the one who plays.

I haven't really made any VNs in my spare time, but I have made a quick one for my Game Design class using Ren'py.

I've read bits (never completed) Katawa Shojo and DearDrops. There are probably others, but I don't remember at the moment.

I'm more of an artist but I can write if I need to.

I know this isn't a VN engine, but I do like using RPG Maker. One can still tell a story with it so I guess it counts. A great RPG Maker game I've played would definitely be To The Moon.

Back to VNs and VN engines, I've only touched Ren'py. I've looked up other engines, but from what I hear Ren'py would have to be the better ones for its customization.
