Baruha Airship can fly you anywhere within the Empire and the Outlands. It has a scheduled route and whether it is boarding or airborne will be stated in the topic name.

[Now Boarding]
With this status, you have 7 real world days to make your first post and have your character decide if they are staying.

[Airborne]
With this status, unless you can fly or safely land, it probably isn't smart to disembark from the airship. You wouldn't do anything crazy like that, would you?

[Repairing] or [Refueling] or [Resting]
All of these statuses are pretty self explanatory. The ship will not be changing location for at least 7 days. It is indefinite, but not permanent. It is possible in this time there may yet be some quests from the captain and crew to help speed things along.

[Attacked]
The airship is currently under attack. It would be wise to help out or hide and stay out of the way. Bailing out is an option if you are capable of flying. This status is most likely at sea or in the Outlands. The crew will reward any who help out. Or you can simply join the raiders and loot for gold and goods. Probably not the most ethical of choices, but not everybody is a hero.

The airship can land on both land and water, but it can only land in areas open enough to support its structure.

Tickets:

Quote:
Basic Tickets cost only $1 per person for basic accommodations. This means a lower deck and a smaller room, but it is just basic travel arrangements.

Midship Tickets cost only $5 per person, but allows you to get your own room and shower with hot and cold running water.

Merchant's Passes are $15 but allows you cargo space for your goods and allows you to sell wares in the ship's shop for a 10% sales fee. They will insure your goods in the case of attack, but will only cover up to 90% of the value. This also grants you a rather pleasant sized room with a couch. [In simple terms, you can automatically sell your goods to the ship for 90% and not wait for people to visit your shop.]

Luxury Tickets are $20 per person and grants you a states room complete with living room and a seat at the Captain's Table where the best foods are served.

Transport Passes are free, but come with no perks or private rooms. You can share a bunk with the crew and earn your fare by helping out until you disembark.

Quests:

New Quests and Jobs may be added in the future. Please mark a note in your post to let us know which quest you are doing. At some point in the post you need to actually rp out what your character is actually doing. Also, the word [bare] minimum is 150 for per post [we prefer 500, but we understand that it is not always possible]. You may team up with somebody and split the rewards, but the one who started the quest gets the level stated, unless you both do the minimum or more - then the rewards are doubled and split between you both. The more words you do, the better, since it can be added to either your stats or towards leveling the related job beyond the reward.

Sonja walks up the boarding ramp onto the Baruha Airship. She had been wanting to try this mode of travel for some time, but had always missed the boarding period by a matter of days or even hours. Riding this thing would help them to avoid some of the issues caused by going by sea. While it was not without its own inherent risks, it was certainly more glamorous, especially by her own standards. "I think that it will take us as far as Tal She nar, but we can take the train to where I live. It should take us a few weeks, but it's better than the few months we would normally expect."

Hoshiru smiled as he made sure that everything was set upfor the ride. He wasn't very keen on riding soething that was above ground. Experience from riding on the back of his Dragon friend contributed to that. He grabbed a few of their belongings and followed Sonja ontp the ship. "Yeah..... the sooner we go the sooner we can get off this flying trap of doom......" he looks at Sonja and smiles. "Would you like to get the tickets? I'm pretty full as it is..."

Sonja pats him on the shoulder and heads over towards the ticket counter. After several attempts to convince them to barter with her about the ticket prices, she finally resigns herself to the fact that this is not the circumstance. A moment of thought and she plunks down twenty dollars in coins. They had just gotten married and they had just been gifted this money while they were at the ball. "Luxury Class Tickets, two, please. It is our honeymoon." The tickets are drawn off of a handsome roll of white tickets with gold trim. 'A bit extravagant for tickets,' she muses, 'I wonder just how nice it is in the room.' After this she returns to Hoshiru and grabs her rucksack and leads him up the gangplank. "I got us the luxary tickets. Honeymoon, after all."
