She takes the ones you love away from you everyday. ░░░M I T S U K I N I░░Y U L E░░░  Mitsu sat in the cage, curled up against the back wall. He wasn't chained or anything, but with the containment gloves on, he couldn't do a thing to escape. And, it wasn't as simple as taking the globes off himself. Containment gloves were designed so the wearer couldn't remove them. Someone else had to do it for them. He wished they weren't made like that. Not only so he could escape, but they also hurt. The magic that emitted from his hands was trapped. It burned and bruised his hands and wrists. It hurt like hell. Yet, he showed no sign of pain. All he showed was anger and the will to slaughter.
How long was he going to be here, stuck in this cycle again? It had been...weeks, he thought, since he was brought here. Mitsu was already passed two months pregnant. Two months and a week to be exact. If he didn't get out before birth, he was going to lose his children and his life. And, in turn, they'd die, too. Without their warlock parent to feed them magic until they could produce their own....Mitsu let out an angry scream and kicked the bars of the cage, scaring the guard in front of him so much he actually shouted and backed off. Not that Mitsu could blame him. The warlock had been so quiet for the passed few days. "You disgusting piles of vomit. Let me out of here!"
Mitsu shrunk back when another guard came over and threatened to have his children aborted. That was a new threat. Usually it was spilled wine, threats to find and attack his family, or even attacks on his own life. The warlock gave one final kick to the bars before he curled up again. He'd kill everyone in this damn shop the first chance he got, guard and slave. Mitsu didn't give two hoots if innocents were killed. He'd kill everyone to get out if he had to. And, as "humans", there's NOTHING we can do about it.

Phoenix  Phoenix ended up in yet another slave shop hearing that this one had magical creatures that were rare. It was a possibility that this place had who or what he was looking for. As soon as he stepped into the shop his thought of family left his mind as he was pulled towards the back of the shop. There was magic here he could feel it, but it was something he couldn't place just then. The closer he got the more he felt the magic and the more he knew he needed to get this particular person out. As he spotted the cage with the male in it his head tilted to the side for a moment. The teen was pregnant? That was unusual. He sure hoped that the child or children weren't a guard's or he would find the male that did it. "Whats your name?" He asked suddenly not caring that the guards and staff of that shop were coming towards him.

Instead, it looked to be a customer. How did he find him? Mitsu was in the back, kept out of view. It was practically storage. When asked his name, his eyes darkened. "Give me yours and I'll give you mine, featherbrain." Was this guy after his children, too? Did he plan to collect them like rare jewelry? Mitsu wouldn't let that happen. If he tried anything, the teen was ready to kill. He'd be a bloodbath by the time Mitsu was done with him. "Go away if you know what's good for you. You're not turning my children into trophies. Sick bastards....I'll kill every last one of you."And, as "humans", there's NOTHING we can do about it.

Phoenix Phoenix looked at the teen and laughed. "Featherbrain, I guess I can be sometimes. Im Phoenix. Not a very... creative name given what I am." He said after a moment before he looked to the guards around them creating a ring of fire t keep the men away from them. "I have no interest in your children, though I am curious to know who the father is. I hope it isn't a guard. As for trophies... my child was hunted for the same reason you are here. I wont go into details as Im sure you don't care about it." The man looked at the teen for a moment before making a decision. Turning a hand into a flaming claw he melted the metal so he could open the door to the cage before it became a normal hand again. "Come with me, Im getting you out of here." He said not knowing if the other would actually agree to go or not. At the moment he didn't have much time to wait, grabbing Mitsu, Phoenix held the teen like a bride and his wings appeared allowing him to stay out of the reach of the staff in the shop. Once he was free of the shop Phoenix was able to move better and was on his way to his home. Once he landed Phoenix put the teen down and removed the gloves on his hands. "Im sorry I just up and took you from that... I couldn't help it. I don't want to have someone trapped in a place like that." ((your welcome cain love ^^ oh and if you want all the prizes its like 1300+ hearts... yea... crazy huh?))

At least use a foreign translation. Jeez. Phoenix spoke of his own child and then said Mitsu probably didn't care. If he didn't want to hurt him or his children....Then Mitsu couldn't really hate him. And, if his child suffered for the reason Mitsu was, that just meant that they could relate on something. Looking down, the teen sighed. He was about speak when Phoenix suddenly melted the bars and snatched him from the shop. It took a few moments for him to realize he was in the air....And, not in a plane. "I-Idiot...!! Put me down!!" Despite his command, he clung to Phoenix for dear life. Even after they were landed and his feet were on the ground again. When he recovered, he glared up at the other. "A little warning next time! That's one hell of a way to give someone a heart attack! Baka!"
Mitsu blinked and backed away from Phoenix, realizing his hands were free and he was no longer in the cage. Which meant he was free to go home....If he had one. The only home he had known lately was still housing the corpse of his beloved. Assuming no one checked on them when they suddenly stopped contacting people. He couldn't go back to his family, either. It was never much of a home there. Resting one hand on his stomach, he turned away from Phoenix, looking distressed. His mother would welcome him back with open arms, and so would Lady Marissa, but he knew full well his father and Takahiro wouldn't. Especially when they found out he was going to name his daughter after Yukari. They'd likely beat him to death first chance they got. "I have nowhere else to go. I can't stay at a shelter or rent a room somewhere....What am I going to do...?"
The teen looked back at Phoenix before a lightbulb went off. He'd just stay with him for awhile. Mitsu still had to thank him for freeing him, and he was more than willing to work off any debt he may owe by doing chores and the like. Willing, but that didn't mean he wanted to. "You know I'm your responsibility now, don't you? As far as laws go, I'm an escaped slave. If I get hurt, it's your fault for not buying me. I guess I'll just have to stay here until it's safe to leave." Mitsu gave a very cocky grin before smiling innocently, complete with a tilted head. "You don't mind, right?"And, as "humans", there's NOTHING we can do about it.

Phoenix "Im not used to warning others about that.. and I didn't really have time. If we didn't get out of that shop we would have both been in trouble." He crossed his arms over his bare chest for a moment watching the warlock before him. "So, you still have to tell me your name." He said after a moment before looking towards the house. "You can stay here, free of charge until you figure things out. You will have all the care you need for yourself and your children, and I can help you find a new home, or I can send you to your old one." Phoenix wanted to do something for this teen, but he wasn't sure just what to do yet. "Slave be damned. No one should be subjected to the will of another. Even bonded familiars don't submit fully to the one they bond with. If your going to stay here, you might as well get a look around. There are a few rooms you wont be allowed in, I hope you will respect that boundary and stay out of them. They will be locked so you will know which ones to stay out of." ((yea...))

It was almost annoying. But, it was also comforting. "Thanks....I'll try not to be too much of a burden." He sighed before giving a small smile. "Mitsukini. My name is Mitsukini Yule. Call me Mitsu, if you'd like."And, as "humans", there's NOTHING we can do about it.

Phoenix "It is nice to meet you Mitsukini.... Mitsu." Phoenix said after a moment as he moved towards the mansion that they would be sharing. "Are you hungry or would you like a chance to look around first?" Phoenix hadn't had anyone in his home for a long time so he was a bit unsure of just what he should do with this particular situation. He had been with another phoenix before, so dealing with a warlock was not something he was really comfortable with.

Phoenix "Alright, then to the kitchen first then to bed afterwards. What do you enjoy eating?" He asked after a moment. He had a fully stocked kitchen with plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables. When they entered the mansion Phoenix looked to Mitsu before leading him to the kitchen. "Well here we are. Ill show you around the rest of the home later, for now I will get you fed and let you take a nap."

They didn't do a very good job at the shop. Strawberries and salmon are very rich. Do you have any?" He could sustain himself and the babies just fine on his own, but it was so much easier with the right diet. "...Thank you. I really appreciate what you did for me. And, are doing."And, as "humans", there's NOTHING we can do about it.
