A regular suite with a reasonably-sized living room, kitchen, and 1 bedroom and 1 bathroom and two large windows in the living room/kitchen area, both with shades for privacy. Perfect for someone living alone.

[Enter from Lobby]

Rose entered her room, grateful that it was simple and comfortable. It had been a long and interesting day for her, but she needed sleep and a shower before she could think about anything, so she headed towards the bathroom to clean up. When that was done, she put on a pair of running shorts and her favorite sweatshirt and climbed into bed to get some rest. Tomorrow, she thought, tomorrow I'll shift and run and fly and get a feel for this place. For now sleep.

[Enter Armel from his and Queen Amaya's suite.]

Armel walked down the hallway, glancing at each door, searching for the number Miss Cameron told his queen. Upon locating her room, the bear relaxed his muscles and smiled his easy, playfully seductive smile. It was a smile that made his past lovers fall for him, though he had no intention of seducing Miss Cameron. It was just that this smile also placed his lovers at ease because when he had this smile, they knew he would not harm them. He was here for pleasure, not violence.

Taking a deep calming breath in and a exhaling, Armel raised his fist and knocked on the door three times, rapid and firm. And in case Miss Cameron had not heard him, the bodyguard called for her, slow and clear:
"Pardon me, Miss Rose? It's Armel, the one from Town Square? May I have a minute of your time?" He spoke colloquially, which wasn't difficult for him to do, but it did not fit his usual appearance. However, considering he was dressed casually compared to when they first met and his hair was up from its usual loose appearance, the young shapeshifter would be less intimidated by him.

Rose looked up from the book she had picked up that morning after her sleep and meal and looked to the door when she heard someone knock. She headed toward the door when he asked nicely, though she would've answered anyway, since it's better to start out friendly, and opened the door to reveal the bodygaurd from the Town Square.

Smiling kindly, she replied; "Of course, sir, please, come in." She invited him in, stepping aside and holding the door so that he could enter.

Armel let himself blush when Miss Cameron called him sir as she opened the door and invited him inside. Though he had no intention of entering her suite beforehand, he couldn't act rude. Rather, he had to act human to put the young woman at ease, and if blushing was part of it, he would blush. It was not something he wished to do, but it was a necessity for the sake of his queen.

Stepping inside the suite, Armel glanced around and found the room to be in order except for a book set out of place. The young shapeshifter must have been reading it.
"Miss Rose, if it's okay with you, could you please call me Armel? At least when I'm off-duty?" asked the guard as he kept his body relaxed and anything near threatening gone from his facial features. "And, if you don't mind, would you like to accompany me shopping? The clothes my queen has isn't fit for this weather, so I need to make sure she's comfortable with whatever she wears." He glanced down at his feet for a moment, allowing himself to appear uncertain for a moment, just enough so she would think he was demure. However, he was uncertain of her answer, if she wanted anything in return for his favor, if she would even trust him enough to shop, though she did invite him into her suite. So long as he could mend his initial image for his queen's sake, Armel would do whatever it took.

Rose looked at Armel and raised an eyebrow when he asked her to help her shop, and then he looked down at his feet. This one, look down at his feet? Yeah, like *that* was likely. Rose doubted he'd ever been sheepish or doubtful in his life, however long that's been. "Sure I'll help you shop, though I don't know how much help I'll be: I mostly wear sweats and t-shirts or the like." She smiled at him shyly, comparing her wardrobe to that of Armel's queen—that explained the air of power around her when they had met—and decided that he was probably here for her knowledge of the weather of the area, or, at least, she hoped he was; her fashion sense was pretty much non-existent.

Armel snapped his head back up, surprised by Miss Cameron's reply. Usually, women would be more than glad to accompany him anywhere, shopping or otherwise. Miss Cameron, on the other hand, made it clear right from the beginning her lack of usefulness might be. The bodyguard grinned. She would certainly be fun to have around for his queen. She didn't make promises, even when it came to something as mundane as shopping for clothing.

And, taking in consideration the young woman's apparel at the moment, Armel felt she was correct in her prediction. Not that it mattered, he just needed her as model for the most part...along with knowledge on the climate. Armel felt confident on his understanding of the weather—it was warm and sunny, it rained suddenly in some parts—but Miss Cameron may know more than he did from his short time in town.
"Thank you, Miss Rose. That would be greatly appreciated, really." He smiled and held out his hand to seal the deal, so to speak. It would be too imprudent of him to hold out the crook of his arm for her. He had no intentions of seducing her, so using such a familiar gesture was unwarranted. "And I'm cooking dinner after our shopping adventure is over. If you'd like, as thank you, it would be appreciated if you'd join us for dinner. I'm also baking dessert." It was a sly move, but this was one way he knew how to properly say thanks to someone, and he didn't know anyone who said no to free food. Though he still needed to purchase the meat once they finished shopping for clothing.

Rose smiled at his confidence that she would be of some help, and his gracious invitation to dinner afterwards. "Well it's good that I will be of some help, and I would be delighted to join you and Queen Amaya for dinner this evening!" Chuckling slightly, she added, "Though, while we're out, I think it might be best if I get something nice to wear as well, seeing as how I'll be dinning with royalty tonight."

She then took his outstretched hand and shook it, continuing to ask, "Would you prefer to walk or to ride? I have a car with me." She added the last part, thinking fondly of the car she now referred to as her baby, the car she had kept in great shape for a while now and had been given by her grandfather - a 1967 Chevrolet Impala in excellent condition, non-convertible, and black, like her soul - at least, that's what she joked about when she described it.

Armel allowed himself to chuckle in reaction to Miss Cameron's words. She was taking the invitation to dinner more seriously than he expected, and she understood the importance of appearing in front of his queen. If she did become his queen's friend, then his queen would truly benefit.

Then, at the mention of a car, Armel smiled.
"The car would be most suitable. I will be purchasing a large amount of clothing for her majesty." He shook her hand, firm and sure, glad he had asked her to accompany him shopping. "And thank you for your offer, Miss Rose. You are a great help to my queen." The car would reduce the time it'd take to travel and if Miss Cameron was so kind, would make transporting the meat he ordered less of a hassle.

Rose smiled. "Great! Let me just get some shoes, my bag, and my keys and we can be off!" She didn't usually enjoy shopping much, but she could tell that this shopping trip was going to be something ... Well, it was going to be something, she'd just have to wait and see. For now though, it was a good way to get to know the town a bit better. When she had made sure she had all her things in her bag and had put on shoes, she put the book she was reading next to her bed, to be read some more later. Grabbing her keys, she went to the door of her room and said, "Okay, I'm good now. Ready to head out?"

[yeah, after you post I'll post about Rose locking up and stuff and then exiting to the store]

Armel nodded as Miss Cameron listed off everything she needed before they left shopping. The bodyguard expected she would need her shoes and keys, but he had forgotten human females tended to carry around purses to hold all their miscellaneous items. "I'll wait by the door once you're ready," he said before she left to gather her belongings.

Standing beside the door, Armel calculated the approximate cost of his shopping trip. While in town, he had exchanged a small amount of his gold currency with the paper and coin currency of the country. It would be some time before he had to exchange his gold again, but he would spend what was needed for his queen. Her clothing and accessories would cost a small fortune, as would the meat. Then he would have to purchase clothes for himself. From his calculations, he would be visiting the currency exchange again by the month's end when it came to food alone—Miss Cameron's voice burst through his thoughts, prompting him to focus on the present once more.
"Yes, I am," he smiled as he opened the door and stepped out.

Rose nodded at Armel's assurance, and once they exited her room, she locked the door, still unsure of this new place, even though the people seemed to be pretty honest ... Well, except for one girl she had seen in the lobby earlier, but maybe she was starting over. Taking out her car keys from her pocket, she attached the room key to it, not wanting to lose it, and headed out to her car with Armel.

[Enter from Quirky Clothing]

Carrying her newly purchased clothing into her room, she carefully put away all her new clothes, except for the outfit she had decided on for tonight. The outfit that Armel had helped her pick out first was nice, but she wanted to wear something fancier if she was meeting a Queen. So, instead, she chose the light green grecian dress and flats, which she hoped looked as good as she thought. While she was in the middle of changing, she heard Armel ring her room. "Um...Rose? It's Armel. Could you come to Her Majesty's room in five or so minutes? It's room 511, just so you know." Laughing a little at hearing Armel's obvious discomfort at using her first name, she finsihed dressing and started on her hair, deciding to do a quick waterfall braid down one side and throw the rest up in a braided bun. Slipping on her flats, she decided to address Amaya and Armel more formally, since she would be in their room on their sufferance, and grabbed her bag, which contained her host gifts, already picked out.

On her way home, she had decided that she should bring something for Armel and Miss Amaya as a thank you for having her for dinner. While she was dressing, she had decided on a couple of books from her small collection to give to the both of them. For the both of them, she had her original copies of The Golden Compass Series, a book about the different kinds of weapons throughout the ages. They might not be much, but she hoped that they would be able to tell that they were her copies that she was giving, making the gift more meaningful. Jokingly, she had grabbed a copy of a fashion magazine in the lobby on her way to her room to give to Armel. Well, let's hope tonight goes well. she thought to herself before locking up her room and heading to Armel & Amaya's room for that night's dinner.

~~ Time Skip from Dinner with Queen Amaya and Sir Armel ~~

Rose woke up after the sun had been gleaming through her window for a few minutes, as it usually was with her. This time, however, she contemplated staying as she was for a while longer. Until she remembered the conversation at last night's dinner, that is. She was still shocked that the Queen of the Polar Bears would want her along on her hunt or on her travels. Which reminded her, she should make sure she still had everything packed, just in case. But first, she was going to have tea. Tea always helped calm her mind and make it easier to think.

After she finished with her tea, she went through the rest of her usual morning routine; shower, brush her hair and teeth, and dress for the day. She decided upon her usual dress, especially if she was going on a Hunt with Amaya later that day. Her usual dress was almost military, almost hipster, perfect to blend in to a crowd and to fight in, or hike; multi-purpose, just like her. Combat boots, jeans, a sweater, her trusty leather jacket, her watch, and, of course, her necklace and the charm bracelet from her parents. After dressing, she made herself some food, having stopped to get groceries while shopping with Armel. She decided to make pancakes, sausages, eggs, and hash browns and have orange juice with them. When she finished making them, she put the dishes in the sink and sat down at the table to quietly and peacefully eat them.

[[yes, i know the pic for the sweater is a guy, but guy sweaters are 12435x more comfy and durable than woman's (also cheaper)]]
