A thread to post suggestion you may have! Whether they be for the guild, for a series of dragons, or just some general suggestion you may have that's related in some way to Dark Turret Dragons.
And depending on how useful this thread is, or more so how used. I shall likely try to keep a running list of what has been suggested in this first post. Though I'll start that in a week or so (after I get back form vacation basically!)

I'm not sure if I should post this here or PM it to Grey, but here goes. whee
I remember a little while ago Grey PMed the people who worked in the DTD thread, asking if there was anything that could be done to make the jobs) easier. I was thinking that maybe people could post their orders in blue or something, make it bold, etc. so that order collectors could distinguish orders from chatting more easily. That way, we could just scroll down and save time rather than reading snippets of every post to check if it's an order or not. Just a thought. sweatdrop

And I'd like to start everything out with a suggestion for the guild.....An events/announcement thread to be kept by Grey or Ferret, that basically just has the events for the Shop (and guild as well). Things like when we can expect new sets to be released, issues with orders (like posts being eaten), and other important things people should be aware. Some things may already be on the regular thread, but others could be things that dragon groupies may care to know but not everyone else. Like before when Grey's ferret was ill, status updates on it's health (which I still hope it's doing wonderful!).
Edit : Or be close to starting it all off. biggrin

That's an interesting idea, and it would definitly make things easier. The only issues I can think of are for people who write in different colours anyway, as I believe that will mess up the BBCode in their posts, and the people who don't copy and past the order form, instead using something not exact, but a similar style. Although something to mark orders for catching your attention might be something we should look into. 3nodding Tasah ... XD Suggestion one There should be a thread in here where people can order dragons; the first post could have the order form and such, and all the ordering information, and people could post their orders there. Once a person's order is done and the trade finished, their order can be deleted from the thread. I just think that might work a bit better.. And then conversations in the main thread won't be mixed in with orders. xD Maybe even a thread to order custom dragons, once they're available again. whee

I like the second update thread idea, Grey, for the same reasons Tasah said.
And I personally think orders should be left in the main shop thread completely. It's really not fair to make the order collectors look in two places for orders nor is it practicle to move all ordering to the guild. I've seen a few mini shops move completely to guilds and it just does not work, at all.
I have a suggestion for dragon themes. What about platform character themed dragons, such as sonic, mario, etc. Or a chinese zodiac themed set/

I think if we were to sell some dragons exclusively here, we would open up a spot for an additional order collector, but I was thinking any dragons available here would be freebies, event prizes, or customs. Still, I definitly like the idea if Ferret and I decide to set up a thread for those customs. 3nodding In that case, we wouldn't need any order collectors as we'd keep a limit on the amount of pending orders at any one time. What about platform character themed dragons, such as sonic, mario, etc. Or a chinese zodiac themed set/  The problem with dragons based on things like videogames/anime/cosplay sets is that Ferret and I are (on average) quite unfamiliar with most of those characters and they require extensive research not just to get the dragons to look right, but also to figure out which characters are worthy of being included in such a set. 3nodding But with that said, if people wanted to suggest characters for such sets(perhaps my journal might be a good place for these specifics) we might see... And as for the Chinese Zodiac, I believe we've got a couple of them done, but these ones require extensive lineart changes, like the upcoming D&D set, so they will take longer to be released. 3nodding

I like that idea. whee And with regards to the order collecting, I'll keep thinking of ways to make things more noticeable, even if it means I include a little image at the top of the order form, and remind people to use the provided form or include the image. 3nodding
