The lights go out throughout the arena except for a single beam of light coming from the stage entrance. Cyrus comes out from the back with his head tilted down and stands in the light, microphone in hand. After a few seconds, he raises the mic to his lips. "As the Light dies and Darkness falls... I'll be the one who'll survive it all. For you see, my very being is comprised of what has existed since before the beginning the universe... Darkness. There are different kinds of Darkness in this universe. Some are more dangerous than others. Some darker than others. Now, the Darkness inside me is one of the oldest, deadliest, and darkest forms in all of creation. And that is a Darkness born of Hatred. I was once a being of Hatred. Hatred fueled me! Hatred fed me! And I wished to spread the Hatred that I had felt all my life to anything and everything around me! But this ambition... left me all alone. I was alone... and hurt. I felt pain that no living thing should ever feel. But this pain was my teacher. It taught me that I needed to protect myself from these unimaginable types of pain. And so, I built walls. Walls that encompass my heart so strong and so tall that not even the light of day could penetrate them. The Hatred in my heart began to fester and grow until nothing existed inside me except one of the most primal and malicious breeds of Darkness that there is! And like the Hatred I once felt, I plan on spreading this Darkness into all corners of this universe!"Cyrus lowered his microphone a bit while he composed himself after letting his emotions rise more than he wanted to. He raised it again after a few seconds. "My Darkness... will spread like a Virus, infecting everyone I come in contact with. And once infected, you will succumb to Darkness, succumb to me. Because I am The Living Embodiment of Darkness and I will conquer all... starting now."With that, Cyrus tossed the microphone and the lights went out. A few seconds later, they came back on a little and Black Hole Sun by Soundgarden started playing over the PA system as Cyrus made his way to the ring, keeping his face hidden. "Making his way to the ring, From Fresno, CA, Weighing in at 265 lbs, Cyyyrus Daaarke!"When he gets to ringside, Cyrus climbs onto the apron and into the ring. He climbs up onto the near turnbuckle and finally lifts his head, but still keeping his hood down to hide his face from the world. He climbs down and waits for his opponent to appear, choosing to wear his hood during the match.

Cyrus would have the ring for a few more moment, building up the tension for the match to come. Once the crowd settled down the lights faded once more, and Dakota's theme could be heard through the PA system. The gnarling guitar riff screeched throughout the arena, and the fans instantly picked up the energy. The music continued for a few more seconds before a silhouette formed in the shadows. The figure had something in hand, a long stick that he slung behind his neck. He took the stick and snapped himself on the forehead with it, in cue with his pyrotechnics which caused a giant "BOOM!" behind him. The lights grew brighter with the pyro, exposing Cyrus's opponent to the world; Dakota Daring! The stick in his grasp was none other than his trusty Kendo Stick, which he wasted no time pointing at the ring, and Cyrus Darke. He would continue this pose for another few seconds before marching down the ramp. "And his opponent! Making his way to the ring, from Window Rock, Arizona! Weighing in at two hundred-forty pounds! DAKOTAAAAA! DAAAAARING!"Dakota frequently went to headbutt and shake hands with members of the crowd during his entrance. He proudly walked up the steel steps onto the apron. His head held high, in complete contrast to his adversary. His hands gripped the top rope before clearing it in a single leap. He climbed the nearest turnbuckle, beating his chest and raising his instrument in the air in true warrior fashion. You could feel the pride oozing out of him as he barked at the audience, his hair flowing each time he banged his head to the Metal music that played his anthem. He dropped from the turnbuckle and marched to the opposite corner, climbing that turnbuckle to continue his manly parade, raising his cane high in the air and beating his chest at the arena. His intensity barely quelled when his music eventually faded from the PA system. The referee then took the time to confiscate the foreign object from Dakota, who happily relinquished it. He didn't know what to think of the brooding man who stood opposite of him on the mat, other than he had to go down. The referee put the stick by the announcer's table, grabbing the 3 Crown World Championship. from it's pedestal. He went into the ring and held it over his head with both hands for all to see, making sure everyone sees it by rotating to all four sides of the rings with it raised. That's what this was about. This is why these two men were here! Daring couldn't take his eyes off the prize while the camera was focused on the belt's plate. The referee eventually handed the belt off to an attendee who placed the belt back on it's showcase. The referee sliced his hand through the air between the two competitors and the bell sounded off, signifying the match to begin. Dakota would waste little time circling around the ring, his eyes locked on Darke, sizing his opponent up for his match.

As Daring was circling around the ring, Cyrus would do the same. He glared at his opponent, trying to intimidate him a little. After going about half-way around the ring, Cyrus stopped moving and raised his right hand, appearing to be offering a test of strength. This was a rouse, however, as should Dakota move in to try and accept Darke would attempt to kick him right in his left knee cap, hoping that it would force him down to one knee. Should all this play out, Cyrus would attempt to run off the ropes and deliver a bicycle kick to the side of Daring's head.

Dakota would brazenly accept Cyrus's challenge, unaware of his true intentions. Darke delivered a straight kick to his knee, but Dakota's natural resiliency allowed him to shrug it off. Daring would attempt to overpower him but Cyrus kicked his knee again, this time achieving his goal and knocking the warrior to his knee. Cyrus then ran to the ropes, turning his back on Daring in the process. He would take the time to stand back up on his feet, and meet Darke as he rebounded off the rope. He would stick his left arm off, hoping to catch the running Cyrus with his arm lariat.

Right as Cyrus came off the ropes, he was knocked flat on his back by Dakota's lariat. Darke wouldn't stay down for long as he would try to sit up and get back to his feet. Once back on his feet, Cyrus would attempt to shove Dakota.

Upon knocking Darke on his back from the clothesline, Dakota would take a little time to pose for the audience, displaying his power by spreading his arms out, fists clenched and his head tilted back. He didn't pay attention however and was heavily shoved by Cyrus. Dakota grit his teeth and would attempt to push him back.

Cyrus was shoved a half-step back by Dakota and for a quick second or two he had slight smirk on his face. Then, faster than it appeared, the smirk turned into rage and Cyrus attempted to take down Daring with an STO.

As Cyrus wrapped his arm around Dakota's neck, he was met with resistance. Dakota rammed his elbow to the side of Darke's face, temporarily halting his progress. After a very brief pause. another elbow was thrown. And then another.

Cyrus was hit by the first elbow and was stopped from connecting with the STO, still having a grip around Daring's head. Then, the second elbow hit and Cyrus' grip was loosened a bit. The third elbow connected against Cyrus' temple, causing him to release his grip and stagger back a step or two, clutching his head.

Freedom! Daring wasted no time sprinting to the ropes for a rebound. He bounced off the ring ropes back at Cyrus, who leapfrogged over him. Dakota ran off the other ropes, looking to catch Cyrus off guard. Alas, Darke was sharp as a pin, and ducked over him. Dakota hopped over him and tried one last charge. A final catapult from the ropes sent him running towards Cyrus, he put all of his faith into a frontflip clothesline, hoping it would do the trick.

As Dakota left his feet attempting his big clothesline, Cyrus would try to catch Daring mid-air and drop him down into an inverted atomic drop. If successful, Cyrus would attempt to follow up with a big spinebuster, a combination Darke calls the Drop n' Bomb.

There's a reason they call moves like that "high risk." Dakota missed with his arm, falling right into Cyrus's atomic drop. The pain shot through his tailbone, but it wasn't done there. Darke hoisted his competitor up, getting ready for a large Spinebuster. Daring had little time to react, but he instinctively wrapped his arm around Cyrus's neck. If he was gonna get driven to the mat, he wasn't going alone, at least that's what Dakota had planned.

As Cyrus was trying to plant Daring with the spinebuster, he was brought down head first into the canvas by a DDT. After being spiked into the mat, Darke rolled onto his back clutching his forehead.

Dakota had managed to successfully counter Cyrus's spinebuster into a DDT. Unfortunately, that's not how spinebuster counters work, as he still felt the full effect of the back-jarring move. Both men were sprawled on the mat, feeling the effects of this grueling match. Their energy was felt by the fans who cheered both men for their explosiveness and passion. Dakota scrambled to get to the ropes, desperately clinging onto them for leverage to get himself back on his feet.
