Name: Taklest del Vanguard

Age: Seems to be 25, but stopped aging centuries ago.

Race: Homunculus (Human-type)

Abilities: Black Magic, expert alchemist

Weapon(s): Twin Daggers

Personality: Fun-loving goof with a perverted nature. Despite being skilled with Black Magic, he's not very battle-ready.

Bio: Taklest's history is stained a bit in tragedy. At a young age, he had to deal with the loss of his father, leaving his mother and two sisters behind. He took a liking to the black arts of magic and studied everything he could within that school of magic and graduated with high marks. After college, he went after his passion, alchemy, and traveled the world to learn more about all manner of creatures, plants, and natural wonders while reading ancient texts he came across.

One such travel brought him to the Temple of Uggalepih, once feared from the Tonberry that lived there before they went near extinct during the War of the Magi that erased almost all evidence of magical artifacts and set back human technology several centuries. At the temple, he managed to find the hidden treasure of the creatures that he befriended, the fabled Philosopher's Stone. After performing all manner of tests, he discovered that it was possible to infuse the ever-changing matter into a human for unparalleled power.

This was his greatest mistake ever, not realizing that to accept the Stone's power, his body would be destroyed repeatedly, a process that lasted an eternally painful 5 minutes that stretched on forever before he managed to accept its invasion. Now filled with the 5th Element's power, he went back to his home, his mind filled with the knowledge accumulated since the beginning of time about the art of alchemy.

It wasn't until years later that he began to see the foolishness of his actions, watching his mother grow old then pass on while his sisters followed a few decades later. Cursed with the burden of eternal life, he now roams the world, doing what he can to occupy his time which has no end in sight.

Occu: Taklest's main business is his shop, Uggalepih's Bounty, but also moonlights as an alchemy teacher at the school. After all, with his Tonberry manning the shop, he has lots of spare time.
