Welcome to BB. Here we can introduce ourselves and why we joined the guild or what tempted us to join the guild.
To start off,
I am jessieomer and I had a spare guild laying around not containing much. I was approached by Brittlebear on a good guild idea, as my idea was the same as every standard guild, and said hey I have a guild lets get this idea rolling.
Now it had been put on the back burner for a while because life. Seriously, that's the only explanation I have for taking so long to debut this wonderful guild. But it, and we, are here now so lets enjoy this place.

Greetings, and thank you to Brittlebear for the invite. I own The Serengeti Plains shop, and I think this idea is an awesome one. I am always looking for exceptional colorists, and if this guild helps me find some, I will consider it a choice well made.

Hi! I'm Brittlebear, or just Brit.
I'm an old member of the B/C, been kickin around for a long time. So long I actually originally had an ad for my first (and only) shop in the Breedable/Changing Pets Shop, which is the shop that made the B/C a subforum.
I used to run a much loved shop for a long time called Carnivorous Companions. I met a lot of people and helped some go on to own shops or become artists. It was a real highlight of my gaia experience. But all good times come to an end and I eventually shut down the shop because I just got too burnt out and couldn't keep up with the demands I felt the shop needed from me. I could have given ownership to someone else, but I also felt it just wouldn't be the same shop without me, so I wanted it to go out on a high note rather then slowly decline.
After that I made the Art Assassin shop, where I provide lineart, templating and various B/C related artt services to people who hire me. I feel I've helped out a bunch of shops with their art, either making new templates or cleaning up the lines or providing complete sets of new art! I will also occasionally join on to a shop for a while to do guest colorist or editing for fun!
Basically I greatly enjoy helping out any shops which request my services or just need a helpful ear to listen. So if you ever need me to, feel free to send me a pm or quote me in a thread to get my attention, otherwise I live in the Art Assassin thread and check it just about everyday.

Hello, I am Lady Ayanai or Aya for short. I am the owner of Katzaie Nebula. The shop has been opened before and the templates were lost in 06'. In 13' Within the former shop owner had given me the lines and I remade the templates for the shop before improving it over the time of me having the shop in my possession.
I am a former colorist for Bijoux Burrow which I had been with them for a year before deciding to open a shop of my own.

Hello everyone, the name's Rian-chan, or Rainyaviel, or Rainy, or Leann, or... whatever other usernames I come up with for whatever site/game I happen to be on at the time. First off, I want to thank Brit for the invite to the guild ^_^
I've been around the B/C for the majority of my time on Gaia and have seen a lot of shops rise, and fall. Including a few of my own or ones that I helped with. I am hoping that by joining this guild I will find some people who may be interested in helping me breathe life back into a shop or two of my own (Foxitinis and Elaphoi of Amaranth) since I no longer do coloring and it is very hard to run a B/C shop without any colorists.
I am also hoping to discover some new shops to settle into and maybe offer my services as a manager or certist to a few as well.

Hello everyone! I would like to thank Brit for inviting me here, and I think this is a good idea and would also correspond with the annual B/C convention. this year its being held by Fayt_of_Redemption. Last year and its first year was held by me.
But for starters, Friends call me Muse. I own Equination, and work at Serengeti plains, Paws-n-claws, HoA and ponies of panavalon. I own Bijoux Burrow but it is currently closed and undergoing construction.
I am also making a shop called Berk: How to train your dragon.
I have been doing the B/C thing for nearly 3 years and its a passion of mine.
I have made good friends and have good times and would like to support this place and its ideas!
I will be filing out a post in the shops and hiring areas!
Anyone need anything, I am up to helping!

Hello all, I'm Elaisa.
First of all I want to say i think this guild has a great concept,
and sounds like it will become an amazing b/c community go-to.
I've been a big fan of the b/c shops ever since I joined gaia in 2007,
I have been active in a great number of shops as a regular. (never as a colourist though)
On the first of this year I opened my first very own shop Realm of Arcadia,
with a set of magical goat line art I had fallen in love with and bought.
I will be filling out a shop post soon, heart

Can I make a request / Suggestion?
Instead of calling it a hiring board, could we make it classifieds so that I could
post up that say, I'm looking for coloring work, guest, full time ect. I think it
might be even more useful than a hiring board, since shop owners could just run
through that forum and take a look at the examples and hire on someone
without having to go through all the work of finding, handing out applications,
ect. when looking for new staff.
And it doesn't even only apply to artists, but managers and other staff too! heart
