Shop Summary: Mind Over Matter is a cartoony setting based loosely on the video game Psychonauts. Don't worry if you are unfamiliar with the source material; we've done our best to present the information necessary as neatly as possible. Alternatively, we also run regular livestreams of the game for those who cannot play it. The shop itself is intended to be very low stress, easy access, and has no activity requirements after the initial profile approval. We have an in-shop currency available for everyone that will serve as monetary rewards for event participation, can be exchanged for neat prizes, and will eventually be purposed into discounts on customs. Overall we want to be an accessible, stress free environment.
Plot Summary: Characters with psychic powers attend summer camp and specialized academy to become super star international secret agents with powers like telekinesis, levitation, and astral projection. If you like cartoony antics and artwork, psychic children, international espionage, and the exploration of people's unique minds, then you've come to the right place! Our overall storyline is very loose and more of a backdrop to roleplay in but it is possible as time goes on that the players will produce, experience, and otherwise shape an overarching story experience. Otherwise, it's slice of life school time fun with psychic powers and talking dogs. For a more detailed plot, just check out our front page!
Pets: Humans with psychic abilities. Each stage of growth earns a new psychic power. Start as a youngster attending summer camp or a teenage student just learning the ropes. There are also psychic animals for pets and telepathy means these animals can talk, so to speak.
Prices: Outside of raffles, auctions, and customs, this shop is completely non-profit. There is no flatsale price, so most event wins (as we tend to run more on games and prompts) are free! We are still figuring out custom prices at current but trust they will be affordable, even with the current economy.
