Name: Jeanne Corsaire
Alias: The Ruler of Rose
Sex: Male
Age: 23
Height: 5'6"
Weight: 130 lbs
Appearance: Jeanne is a short, lithe young man with olive skin, amber eyes covered by square-rim black glasses, and short, messy, ebony hair. The right side of his face is severely wounded, the cheek and half of his lips destroyed. Various wounds that have dried blood decorate his body, including a slash against his forehead, a large slit along his neck, and various other cuts and bruises scattered around. His body is adorned with roses for some strange reason, including a "main" rose for his left eye. He is usually garbed in dark clothing, specifically in hues of brown. In public and in broad daylight, an illusion is cast over him so that he is without his wounds and roses, to seem "normal."
Jeanne, in his loneliness over the years in such an "empty" home, has developed a habit in cross-dressing, which can lead to some rather disturbing encounters if one knows that it's still him.
Personality: Jeanne is cold and calculating, almost empty at times. He can feign a particular sweetness that is only genuine to those he loves, and for that, he is quite dangerous to trust. The madness within often takes hold, and he carries an air of paranoia and sadness that can only be described as pitiful. He is always lonely, and seeks only love in this world and the next, hoping someday he can truly be with someone for eternity. Expect him to not truly grasp the idea of personal space, as he will get close.
In his loneliness, he developed a "persona" which is basically a female version of himself, and often crossdresses as her, thus birthing the rumor of the Corsaire Twins, despite Jeanne's siblings bearing no identical resemblance to him, and no record of twins under his current family. It is only a pathetic attempt at attracting men into his arms.
History:
Jeanne took control of his family's manor in November, 1927, after they went nearly bankrupt and fled to America to avoid public disgrace. Jeanne, stubborn and adamant that he could restore his family's honour, did all he could to raise enough money to renovate the once ramshackle abode into a magnificent mansion now known as Château Rose. Throughout renovations, however, Jeanne discovered dark family secrets: hordes of eldritch books and relics.
Workers began to disappear while working, or died in horrific "work-related" accidents. Theirs souls fueled Jeanne's experiments, and the house seemed to come alive with a mind of its own. When the house was finally finished, no workers remained, and the only resident was Jeanne.
With the history kept locked and hidden by Jeanne, he could then finally restore his family name, hosting lavish parties for the rich and poor alike. But in his domain, it would be wise to obey his Rules of Rose, lest you end up the next victim in his darkest rituals.
Skills/Abilities:
~ Cocytus Assault: Using his grimoire, Jeanne releases a barrage of enraged spirits that chase the target and viciously attempt to rip out their soul. Those close to death succumb easily to the ghosts' icy-cold grasp, and their spirit enhances Jeanne's foul magics.
~ Children of Perdition: Using the very spirits he summoned, Jeanne creates an aura shield of wailing souls, armouring him up against the most brutal of strikes. Assailants also suffer a secondary effect of the shield, in which one of the spirits will latch onto the victim and drain their life bit by bit for a few moments.
~ Follower of Judas: Jeanne is almost infamous to the dead as he is to living comrades, sacrificing their vitality with a foul incantation in order to regenerate his own as well as enhance his magical power.
~ Rule of Rose: The wretched vow Jeanne swore an oath to. Due to his cursed state, he cannot properly die, and will resurrect in his rose garden. However, that isn't to say he cannot be killed.
When Jeanne "dies," the very entities he summoned will come to his corpse, tearing his soul asunder and releasing a vile energy wave that can only be assumed to be what ill will keeps Jeanne anchored to Earth. It serves as a last ditch effort so that his assailant may join him in the grave, albeit it won't last for long.
