I seriously dislike harems, I mean sure there are a few good ones...but its mostly just....I don't even have words.

Over all, I agree with you. I think, over the course of my fan fic career, I have only read one good harem fic. The rest have just been chauvinistic porn fantasies. We need more reverse harem fics, where the woman has multiple men.

Renkon Root Over all, I agree with you. I think, over the course of my fan fic career, I have only read one good harem fic. The rest have just been chauvinistic porn fantasies. We need more reverse harem fics, where the woman has multiple men. Agreed, I would love to try write a harem one day but I honestly don't even think I can write a lemon it just comes out ....well you don't even want too know LOL

Ah, I was going to ask if your disdain applied to reverse harems as well but you already answered. xd
I don't think I've read anything recently that had any harems or reverse harems in them, honestly. In the past, however, I did read a few of those harem stories but they tended to lack plot and just go the old "matchmaker-bordering-on-The-Bachelor" route which is boring to me. Even actual animes/mangas that feature a harem are boring to me. I guess it's the whole "Oh no! I'm so popular with women for whatever reason but I'm having such a hard time choosing! Woe is me! Let me lead everyone on! That'll be sure to make everyone happy!" thing that just gets under my skin. But not all harem stories are like that. I haven't seen/read any full-on smut harems before. rofl

Haha no I don't have a problem with reverse harems though like I said I tend to find all the bad fics about them so I tend to avoid any fic that has a 'harem' in the summary now a days. Yea I have to agree...It's like whenever someone thinks about writing a harem they forget about a plot line and character build up. emotion_0A0
