Should I tell my conservative Christian family I'm Bi?
Yes, just get it over with!
No, they actually don't need to know.
Leave a trail of bread crumbs and see if they figure it out.
Beats me I'm in the same situation.

I came out to my friends, well most of them anyways, but I will never come out to my family. I'd be locked up in a straight camp for sure. I'm bi so I'm pretty sure they'd just say just choose men or that I am going through a phase in my late 20s, but they have no idea that I've been this way since I was a kid. rolleyes

Nonetheless, any advice would be nice. I don't plan on ever telling them unless I start dating seriously. Oy...it's hard.

I feel ya, I'm in like basically the exact same position. I've determined in order to avoid unnecessary drama, not telling them is best. Unless you start dating someone pretty seriously and then I'd say you should probably come out rather than hide your s/o. But I dunno, I'm pretty far jammed in that closet myself.

Saaaame. The only family member I've come out to is my sister, and that's because her and I are like best friends. I feel like my immediate family really wouldn't care, but I know my extended family would probably get all judgmental and treat me differently. That's what I really want to avoid. neutral Even most of my friends don't know, or if they do, they haven't told me. Ah well, I'll probably go the same route and just not say anything til I'm dating a woman...because then I'll kinda have to. sweatdrop

I'm literally in the exact same situation. I'm bisexual and in my early 20s. All of my friends know. I have never had a problem disclosing this information to friends or even strangers, but I simply cannot bring myself to tell my Christian, conservative family. They cussed me out because they found out I was a liberal & they look down upon my gay friends. My aunt has stated before that it's fine if they want to do "that" (as in be gay) but they're sinners who are going to hell and she is glad I am not like that. so... I almost feel like I don't have a choice.
