The house is tricky to even find. When Dominique left home he had decided to travel as far as he could so he could never have to rely on his parents for anything. This cause he wants to make it on his own or, as he decided recently, with a companion. The house is deep in a forest where he found a meadow and then used his nature magic to build himself a small mansion. The outside looks like a tree that grew in a very strange form, where the roof is leafs and vines woven together and some magic layer over it to ensure rain and wind do not enter the home. The windows are made of magic layer as well and are, though they look very thin, very strong and repelling. It wouldn't hurt if you touch them but you would feel the energy used for them on touch.

Inside the house has a very big living room which attaches to a big kitchen with one door. The kitchen is modernly furnished as Dominique worked together with tech to make his home livable with the comfort of modern day. Something he missed very much back at his parental home. The energy for the whole property is provided by a generator not far from the home in the back of the garden.

The garden itself has a variety of red and white roses and many other flowers. There several decorative hedges and trees that were grown that way by Dominique making use of his powers. The front of the house really is just the meadow though Dominique managed to add as his property, since it was left unowned. It has an open lush green field and a lake in the middle which connects to a river that runs through the forest. The meadow seems a favorite place for small animals to meet up. Like deer and wolves and such.

The living room has a television and radio. At the side of the tv there is a comfortable soft couch and some chairs, and on the side near the kitchen door, is a table with soft chairs to eat at. In the hallway there is a bathroom and a staircase to the first floor. The rooms up on the first floor, which are 3, there 2 the same size and the 3rd slightly bigger. Dominique chose the slightly bigger room as a master bedroom and the other two rooms can be used. One for his companion, the other if they ever get visitors. There is here also a bathroom with toilet.

As they came out of the shop Kaizen took in a deep breath and nodded a little as Dominique pointed out how much better it felt outside of that aweful place. He couldn't help being a bit annoyed Dominique hadn't bothered to make a point of getting him new clothes since he was fairly certain he'd flashed through the shreaded clothes a few times. It's not like he was shy but still it was annoying. Dominique probably had plenty of clothes for him back at wherever but still the initial thought annoyed him and now he was annoyed with himself that he got so sensitive in the first place. Especially since Dominique wa fully within his rights to just cut off the rest of it and make Kai go around nude.

Kai snorted a little at the thought and didn't hesitate getting into the cab with Dominique. He looked over the other male and sighed a bit. "So what, am I just that much your type or do you have some kind of inferiority thing you get off on or what? I know I was pricey just because I'm a problem to hold down. You could have walked away with anyone in there... well any human at least. For less than you paid for me. So why?" He asked looking at Dominique critically for an answer. Kaizen was honestly confused as to why Dominique would pick him of all people. He was glad to be out of there but he doubted there was a solid reason behind the purchase and if one thing annoyed him it was people acting irrationally or simply without thinking.

Kai sighed and shook his head. "Not that I'm not grateful to be rid of that place but honestly the only logical reasons that come to mind are that you get off either on my looks or the idea of breaking me yourself. Taking what you say at face value I'd say the latter is out and going off my looks? I'm hardly that special where you couldn't find a more managable pet or slave or lover or whatever you're looking for in a place like that." He shook his head a bit. "Or is this one of those I remind you of someone deals?" He asked groaning a bit at the thought.

"The suspicious type are you? And might I add quite sure of yourself." he said first as he joined Kaizen in the cab. He told the driver where to go before he leaned back into the backseat. He had let the male go off on his rants, it was not like he didn't expect them after hearing him at the market. "What if I would tell you 'Neither of the above'?" he counter asked first and looked over at Kaizen. Dominique gave a gentle smile to Kaizen. "I wasn't looking for specifics at that place other than unlikely to run away. It's a companion I seek, not a slave in any type or form. And you sounded the most fed up with the place so I figured you'd fancy leaving." he clarified his intentions without winding around it.

Dominique looked out of the window of the cab. The suburbs of the city were quickly left behind them as they went to the more rural area. He was glad he could offer someone the needed release from that gloomy place, however he wasn't going to let them run away. It's true this is his first purchase, but that was why he went for the more follower type of 'pet'. The trip took a while but they reached the forest and Dominique paid the cab driver and got out waiting for Kaizen to follow him. They still had a way to go. "It's walking from here. I live in a peaceful and quiet environment, and I don't like it to busy visited by cars. Always such a noise." he said calmly as he allowed the wind to play through his hair.

From here they'd walk but it was worth it. At least for Dominique, he wasn't sure of the other's liking to nature. So far he had not used any of his power on purpose. For one cause he didn't need the cab driver panicking on him for using magic and possibly crashing them. Nor had he needed it, since Kaizen was fine other than a few bruises where the chains had been. That was a positive thing though. Dominique was just glad there were no major injuries. When looking around, you could clearly see that the forest was an old one and thick with lush green.

Kaizen sighed a little at the explanation. "I see, I'm not sure if that makes me feel better or not." He said honestly with a shrug. Kai didn't think he'd mind Dominique so much but if the guy needed a companion that badly it meant that Kai's contact wit people was limited as well. The first big issue there that came to Kaizen's mind was sex. That meant his only potential partner may or may not actually be interested in him and other than that he'd probably have to sneak out to get any. Kaizen wasn't too obsessed with sex so much as he thought ahead and in the current situation? Well he was figuring how the house was right now was going to be his life prettymuch indefinitely. Unless of course he managed to save Dominique's life or something and being out in the middle of nowhere he had no way to repay Dominique financially either.

Kaizen shook his head a little and climbed out of the car looking around and nodding. "Well then, I hope you aren't too slow. I don't wanna trek through this place at a crawl. Especially dressed like this." He said pulling his tattered clothes up a little and letting them fall into place. "Any other pets I should know about?" he asked as he started walking through the brush. He preferred the city by a vast majority but he was used to roughing it in general. The trees and the grass didn't change that much in his opinion. Biggest difference being how you dealt with the predators at night. Even then it wasn't much different. "We talking yards or clicks?" He asked as he hopped up a larger tree's roots landing easily and looking over at Dominique. "Also barefoot like this I might lose my step so don't get cheeky and run off without me either. Lot of slick moss." He added as he surveyed the area sighing a little as he thought about how far away a rich guy like Dominique would put himself into an untouched forest like this.

OoC: This is more like it. More around my usual posts. Just took me longer than usually when not tired.

Dominique looked back to the other male when he spoke. "At least you are honest. I appreciate that in a person." he replied. "I trekked this forest before, making sure I know where to go. After all you don't want to get lost in a forest as this. Who knows what the nights in here hide." he spoke casually. When Kaizen had gotten out, Dominique closed the cab door and tabbed the roof, indicating the driver could move. The cab quite quickly reacted and drove back towards the city. He then walked ahead of Kaizen for a bit into the direction of the home. "You will not need to worry about clothes. I made sure there is plenty in the house in several sizes. Surely you didn't expect me to get a companion without making sure I can give them what they need?" he spoke calmly and smiled.

"I have taken measures before even making the actual trip to the slave market. My friend told me how badly you all were treated." he explained. The young man picked up his pace as the other walked faster. "No other pets to mention. Till today, I was the only resident of the home in the forest." he answered his question. "We won't just be at the house though. I would go nuts myself if I stayed inside all the time." Dominique moved over the trail easily, knowing it well. He looked up towards Kaizen when he jumped on the roots of a tree.

"A few yards, nothing you can't handle I am sure. I like it quiet, so I didn't go live in the city. Besides that it is much more beneficial for me to live in the middle of nature" To show his point, the mage closed his hands with just the index finger out and as he made contact between his fingers and the trees he passed, green light would appear and fade, till he opened his hands again and spread his arms a bit, causing the roots of the tree to grow thick, sturdy vines that Kaizen could walk on if he so wished. With just the two of them, Dominique didn't need to worry about showing his magic. "You could say Nature and I have an everlasting pact that works great together." he said as he smiled.

Kaizen rolled his eyes a bit at the honest comment. "Don't get too used to it. You caught me at a personal moment and I figured I couldn't con you after that. I'm a thief remember, it's part of my survival bag to flip whoever I can so they play my tune." He said with a slight shrug. "As for clothes right now I'm more worried aout the trip since I figured you could easily be miles back and this forest doesn't seem to like visitors." He said as he walked more or less ignoring the display of magic.

Kaizen nodded a bit at that. "Just as long as I don't have to worry about some monster pet of yours I'm not allowed to harm. The sweet passive approach isn't my style. As long as I get meat every few days I'm not even about to hunt but I'm not a chew toy for some beast to throw around because he's 'playing.'" He said complete with annoyed air quotes. He looked around and nodded a bit. "So you're the one with the tree that's clearly altered over there I see holes for window structures." He said as he walked again more or less ignoring the vines and hopping along down the path bringing it up to a good jog out of habit more than anything.

Kaizen had no special attachment to the natural world but he dealt with it easily enough. Afterall he rarely had a regular place to sleep. Unless jail cells counted. He shook his head at the thought. He smirked a bit as he realized out of nine years he'd spent maybe 4 months of his life in cells.

With that thought in mind Kaizen figured it was time for a subject change. "So if you have this wonderful friend who knows so much about the slave trade. Why didn't you just have them stay with you? I'm sure you could have accomadated them easily enough." He blinked a bit as he thought about it and nodded. "I mean you don't seem the type to really require there be a promise of anything more than pleasent conversation and a warm body." He shrugged a bit at that. "Unless you have some major switch to flip. You do have the creepy eyes that point to something resembling 'I am going to watch you bleed and scream and beg then use your tears to clean up my j**z.'" He said with a slight smirk. "I mean they are attractive but still on the other side of steel bars it's more concerning than a turn on." He shrugged.

Dominique chuckled. "The place where I live has you worried already? Don't worry, I don't live here for the usual no one can hear your screams reason. I just don't like the hustle and bustle of the city to much. So I live where I find peace and calm. However it can get far to quiet when by yourself." he explained his intentions once again to the other male. There was no need for the other to be jumpy, but he understood since Kaizen didn't know him. "And do you judge by appearances?" he asked curiously.

But he didn't really expect an answer as Kaizen seemed to be ready and at it. Dominique smiled, this would definitely be much better than the silence that now was inside the house. Outside he could enjoy the song of the birds and the living of creatures all around him, but on rainy days the cottage could be a very lonely one. He shook his head hearing Kaizen's expectations so far. "Of course, you can eat whichever you wish, I just won't eat meat. As far as hunting goes if you enjoy that go ahead. As long as you only hunt what you need." he said and smiled.

When Kaizen brought up the tree house and windows he followed the other's gaze and nodded. "Yep that is where I live and your new home. I used the magic in me to turn the tree into a house without having to disturb the wildlife." he explained. It was clear that Dominique loved the forest and would do everything in his power to protect it from those that had an ill will towards it. "My friend will need to travel a lot if he was going to be joining me here and he has his job miles away from here." he answered and laughed softly about his eyes.

"That is the magic speaking Kaizen. I have by no means a switch that would cause me to suddenly lash out at you or try anything against you. But you are right about your earlier perception. All I am looking for is a companion. Another warm body as you call it that lives around me other than the animals which can't speak or really display their own will." he admitted. There was no reason to hide it. Besides it would be like two friends living together for the most part.

Kaizen smirked a bit as Dominique asked if he was worried. "I plan ahead is all, I know I eat meat and a nature caster tends to have moral and practical problems with such things. If I forgo meat I get weaker and if I get weaker I can't work properly as a thief and I suffer for it. So if this turns out to be a permanent situation I need access to meat if only because I've become accustomed to it. I also prefer prepared meat over hunting but I'm not going to have you go out of your way for such things as long as you know the result is me hunting." He shrugged a bit at that. "As far as me buying any such things that's still costing you because I have no money and honestly I'd worry about your mental health if you trusted a slaven Thief with time and money spent away from you for such things. So as I said, I plan ahead." He snickered a bit and hopped up onto a low weight bearing branch. "As for judging by appearance. I don't exactly get cozy with a lot of people. If I can't judge a person on sight, I at least go hungry and at worst I end up on the slave market." Kai gave a slightly bitter smile at that.

Kai nodded a bit at the explanation. "Well with nature bending magics that allow you to construct I can't see a whole lot of need for a regular job. Anyways not like it matters much now." He shook his head a little. "As for your magic, I'm not sensitive. It's literally how your eyes appear to me. I mean in all honesty I'm more on the kinky side anyways but like I said not getting a good read off of you and your timid nature. Those eyes on the other side of steel bars was unsettling." He smirked and jumped down and hopped the last few feet to the clearing with the large tree. "I suppose I could get used to this if I had to." He smirked a bit at that and looked around. Sure he wasn't fond of the idea of being tied down but he figured he'd be better off taking the pluses and ignoring the cons.

All things being equal Kai figured he could do a lot worse than Dominique for a master. Sure most he'd have just run off but Dominique wasn't just buying him because he could. Dominique did it more for Kai than himself. That meant Kai owed him rather than it being a justified loss. It annoyed Kai that he owed Dominique but he could definitely have done worse. That and he doubted now that he was in the forest with Dominique that he'd be able to get away easily. Kai figured the forest itself would alert Domnique if he tried to leave. Not that he really intended to unless Dominique did have a hidden side that was less than preferable.

"I'm a nature caster, correct. But most like me know there is no use in forbidding hunting or be against it. As long as it is done responsibly and won't wipe out an animal species. I will not forbid you hunting, especially since I just did my regular groceries. And meat was not on the list. It will be a while before I need to visit that busy city again." he answered patiently as he watched Kaizen hop around as they walked. "Personally I live off of the fruits of the forest and vegetables I grow in my own garden. I never ate meat of my life. And that is why I spend my days in the middle of the forest. It's calm, peaceful. And I indeed don't really need money for housing and renovations.

Though I have plenty."
he smiled as they entered the clearing with the lake to their left, laughing softly as he was still on about his eyes. "Well thanks for finding them attractive. Maybe in time you will come to realize I indeed don't mean you any harm." he said, hinting back to when he called them attractive and walking ahead some before turning around again. "Welcome home, I'll show you around." he spoke gently and he opened the door to the cottage. Inside it was as roomy as the mansion like size did think, though the walls showed it was a transfigured tree, with the magic keeping it safe and clean. Dominique walked inside the hallway as he waited for Kaizen to join him.

"This first floor has the living room, kitchen and a restroom. The two doors in the kitchen go to the conservatory and the backyard. If you enter the living room you will see that the house has been provided with electricity. Something I quite enjoyed at times when back home, but my parents never really wanted to use. The rooms are on the First Floor. There three, one is mine, one is for guests and one I have reserved for you, or rather whoever I'd bring home with me." he spoke and smiled. "Anything you'd like to know, ask or have a look around the house yourself if you prefer." he offered.

Kaizen nodded a bit at that. "For the populace you're right but if you thought you could control me like the slave you bought me as you could deny me anything. I giured you'd live off the land. Anyways I'm not too worried about it. I just like to get the nasty stuff out of the way first. Then we never have this big blowout down the road. I mean if I'm going to be honest may as well go all the way." He snickered a bit.

Kaizen smirked at the playful hint. Well he supposed he didn't have to worry about going without for too long. Hopefully he got a better read than Dominique was implying though. He liked it pretty rough when he actually trusted someone. Well as much as he trusted anyone anyway. "I'll find my way around just fine, just dont be surprised if you catch me sneaking." He shrugged a bit. "Old habits die hard." He stepped up and stood in front of Dominique smirking at him. "So I get my own room hmm? Not gonna have your new pet sleep at the foot of your bed?" He teased with a snicker. Sure he was bitter but he found it amuing that Dominque sectioned off a space for him already.

As he looked around the house Kaizen smirked a bit. "Anyways I'm more worried about what you don't want damaged. I mean aside from the obvious of don't chop my tree, don't pollute my water. It's not like I can read minds and I don't know what you value here. I mostly see weeds, healing plants, poisons and lots of things to jump and hang off of." He laughed a bit and started wandering around a bit.

((sorry I'm just kinda out of it lately and now I'm busy so I'm just forcing a post before it sits for like a week. I'll fix the color later.))

Dominique looked back to Kaizen when he spoke of control and slaves. "I have, by no means, the intend to utterly control you." he spoke and shrugged. "I may have bought you on paper as pet or slave, but like I said what I desire is a companion. What use is it to control you to act just like me or to deny you walking around my grounds?" he spread his arms a bit when he spoke of his grounds, implying he had quite some freedom here. "As long as you don't run off or purposely harm nature, part from necessary hunting, you'll be perfectly fine." he added calmly.

The Mage would only need to use his powers against him if he tried to escape, but for some reason Dominique didn't think the other male would try, if only cause they were in the middle of nature, his source of power. When Kaizen spoke of his room, Dominique laughed softly. "Well no, unless you'd want to lay in my room. You are a human being, why would I let you lay on the ground like an animal?" Dominique wasn't sure what Kaizen was expecting but it seemed like the man confused him for only being soft hand and easy to get around to. Nature always has two sides.

And most often reacts to instincts. He just controlled his better than a general being. He smiled to Kaizen while he stood before him. He had guts that was for sure, Dominique liked that. "There isn't much you can damage here that I can't repair, just don't start throwing the dishes around." he said laughing softly at his question about his property. "Climb whatever you want and on whatever you want. This house is literately as sturdy as a big tree. Just don't touch the plants in the garden as I doubt you will know the difference between beneficial or malevolent herbs.

I'd hate for you to go through unimaginable pain before I can find out what poisoned you and which herb will neutralize it."
he warned. It was a real warning however. Dominique had his system for separating poison from herb but they were still close by each other's counterpart. Kaizen could easily end up digesting poison rather than a tasty herb if he wasn't knowledgeable about them. Dominique walked with him till the kitchen. "If you want you can find your room and take a bath and get dressed in other clothes while I make some food." he spoke gently.

"That is if you are hungry. I'll make some food either way, cause I need food too." he said and smiled as he walked around his kitchen picking up the needed ingredients for fried eggs with cheese and some bread to put it on. It wasn't time for dinner by far yet so there was no need to make something heavy. "Do you like fried eggs? Though if you haven't eaten in a while, which I assume, it might be best if I make them for you without cheese to avoid your stomach from getting upset." he offered. "Your room is the first to your right if you head up the stairs, mine is right next to it and the guest room is next to the bathroom." he explained. If Kaizen wanted to eat as well he would make his eggs a bit later so he could first bathe and get properly dressed, or it would be cold before he would be back.

Kaizen snickered a bit as Dominique went on about not wanting to control him. "I was just saying, It's plain to see you're not about the 'bow to me' mentality. Your house itself is more showy than need be. However the way you hold yourself and where it's located both attest the contrary." He shrugged a bit at that. "As long as we're clear then I'm fine. I can fix a lot of things. Trying to revive dead animals is definitely not one of them." He shook his head a little.

At the comments about the herbs Kaizen couldn't help but laugh a bit. "You think I was always a thief? I learned a lot about herbs through trial and error. I'm no expert but I know what's poison. Before you tell me your herbs aren't local I eventually researched herbs to make sure I didn't kill myself. I made sure to familiarize myself with anything poison. For a host of reasons that aren't nessecarily relevent to your concerns." He shrugged a little. "Right now I just wanna get into actual clothes. I'm all for a nice breeze but this stuff is just obnoxious." He said shaking his head a bit as he holds up his torn sleeve. "I don't suppose you have any daggers on hand hmm? Mine got taken and I feel rather naked without them." He shrugged a bit. "Even if I wasn't in such a state of dress. Either way I'll just change for now. I can worry about clean another time. Also food is a definite yes. My stomach is stronger than yours I assure you." He said with a smirk and jumped up easily scaling the wood walls and quickly finding his way to his room and looking through the clothes finding himself a few things he liked before throwing on a green t-shirt with a black star design and a pair of blue jeans.

Kaizen was used to getting by with whatever and he wasn't very picky about much. Except when it came to how prepared he was for certain things. Like he hated being without his weapons. He doubted Dominique would leave him disarmed for long especially with their talk about hunting. He didn't like wearing jeans much since they were rather restrictive but he figured for an in-between shower outfit it was more than adaquate. "Hmm I suppose this works, gonna have to shower soon though. This sucks, I'm gonna have to re-make my entire set-up. Cloth picks, hidden picks, secondary knives, potions and all." He sighed and shook his head before tossing out his hair a few times as he dusted himself off more. "I'm gonna feel gross until I get out and make more anyways." He grumbled to himself. "Suppose I shouldn't make him wait long though. Dominique is still such a weird name. Why can't I meet anyone normal? I mean really. The only normal people I know have all been marks." He pouted a bit and rolled his eyes in spite of himself. "This guy has me being chatty with myself. What the heck?" He groaned as he headed back down to the kitchen.

"Ah, so all Masters take their pets far far from society to do with them as they please and no one can hear them scream. I have to say that is brilliant, even if macabre." he said as he chuckled while lighting on the stove and started to fry his own set of eggs so he could eat. Dominique worked in the kitchen as he listened to Kaizen about herbs and studying. "So you have studied Botany, much like me." he confirmed. "That is a bonus. As to what reasons, the way you say it I could guess what. My question is should I worry about what I eat and drink from now on?" he asked but the male already went up ahead to his room."Mental note, some discretion might be advised." he said softly.

While the other male was in his room getting ready, the Mage finished his fried eggs with cheese and turning off the stove for now. While he ate he thought about the situation at hand. It seemed like he managed to get a docile enough pet but he knew he couldn't be to trusting right from the start, to avoid ending up getting poisoned if anything. That aside he was rather pleased so far. He wasn't demanding in care taking and he seemed to have a sense of humor at that. "All in all, not a bad way to start this whole Master life." he mumbled.

After a bit Kaizen walked back into the kitchen and Dominique looked at him before he gave him a smile. "That looks much better than those tattered clothes. I wonder what they are thinking at that market." he commented and went back to the stove lighting it again. Eggs were done easy enough. But Kaizen had come back down sooner than he expected, or the Mage would have had a plate ready. He put some cheese on top of the eggs, since the other male was convinced his stomach was strong enough and when it was done, he put it on bread as well before giving the plate to Kaizen after making sure the gas was off. "I'd say enjoy your lunch. I'm sure it has been a while since you ate something proper."

Kaizen smirked a bit at the other worrying about what he was ingesting. When he came back he shook his head a little. "As for your question, if I had any ill will towards you specifically I'd have bailed out of the cab and disappeared long before now. Magic or no you wouldn't find me in my element. Save for tracing spells, then I wish you luck." He shrugged a bit. At the comment about his clothes he smirked. "They aren't in the business of selling slaves for looks. They are a valid organization so if I don't sell I just take up space. Most slaves go naked to make them feel vunerable. I was left in tatters to make me feel broken. It was a psychological attack to soften me. I just know what it was so it's hardly effective. It always works, just not how they hope." He shrugged a bit and sat down tapping his foot gently against the floor.

Kaizen nodded a little about lunch. "Eaten not as long as you think. Proper? probably longer than you think." He laughed a bit and shook his head. "Anyways thanks, just wanna get some daggers back soon. I use them for scaling more than anything. Besides if I just wanted to cut you this kitchen is well equipped." He shrugged and started eating making sure to pace himself so he didn't end up putting it right back onto the plate. He hadn't eaten in a few days but he was used to that.

Dominique had to admit to himself he was relieved to hear the other's reasoning. He just had to make sure since he was well aware the other was still not free, as lenient as the male was as Master. He chuckled when Kaizen started about tracing spells. "You are right, if you had escaped on the way here I wouldn't be able to trace you. Here, in the forest, that is a different matter." he agreed. Nature herself would help him find him if ever necessary, but nature was weak at the roads with the cars and the city. One of the reasons Dominique didn't like cities.

His strength waned along with the nature's influence, to a point where he once was physically hurting while stuck at a city. It was a disadvantage his ancestry was intertwined with. HE shook his head at the information that Kaizen shared with him. "Seriously, how people can treat others like that goes beyond me." he spoke and then nodded to the other's wrists. "How are you doing on your wrists. I did notice the irritation, just hope it didn't cut you up." he asked as he sat across from Kaizen leaning on his own arms as he waited.
