In light of recent events, I shall be documenting my weight loss here. I will be tackling weight loss like I play Monster Hunter-Gradually and consistently. Imma post pics every so often of my progress, and hopefully I can be hot one day!

Start of journey, 57 inches.
Step 1, bought healthier foods.
Step 2, will take a walk tomorrow morning and do Qigong.

Today was bad. I was away from home for much longer than I had wanted to be and I started getting shaky. Roommate offered food, and I had taco bell and soda. Not a great way to start out my journey. tomorrow will likely be a bad day as well, but I'm going to try to eat healthy and only what I need, not enough to stuff myself. Hopefully, I can remember to have someone take my picture soon.
Not looking forward to that, as I'm pretty gross looking atm. Cooking chilli right now, and this will last for quite some time so long as I do NOT overeat.

First hurdle, Food.
When I've had a serving, wait for a while to see if I'm HUNGRY. if not actually hungry, DO NOT EAT. I will get the hang of this. I will be happy at the end of this.

That's okay. One day at a time! Try again tomorrow!

You don't have to take pictures if you don't feel like it. heart

Thanks for the support!
I need to post pics of myself so that I can see myself in context. I am not very attractive, and when the shirt is off, even less so.
It'll be motivation as I go along. I don't want to be this, so I strive to be that mentality reinforcer.

Today was better. I have had some pringles, V8, water, and 1 can of mtn dew. I had only 3 helpings of frito pie throughout the whole day, and I'm feeling okay! biggrin I have good-for-me snacks if I want something, and have things to do so I don't bored and eat. I can do this!

This is how I presently look.
I hope by reducing my meal numbers and portions, as well as sodas and excess sugar that it will help.

This is wonderful.
Let me know if you would like suggestions of healthy foods.
I don't know too many, other than apples and peanut butter make for a good light lunch or breakfast, just to get you started.
And peanut butter is very filling, and gives you a great amount of protein. :p
Apples also supply more energy than a cup of coffee. biggrin

And I don't know if you know which fat is good fat, so here's a link.

I'll be supporting you the whole way~
{Sorry if all that junk is too much. I just find a lot of people who try to cut out fat entirely and that is not healthy at all.}

Cheering you on from the side lines!
It's a tough road ahead but you can do it!
I wish I had more advice but I'm just kind of going along and figuring things out myself(lost about another 2kgs recently, hurray!).

One thing I did that helped me gauge how much I was consuming was use one of those fitness/calorie counting sites.
It gives you an idea of what you are eating, how many calories and where you might need to cut back more.
You can track your weight and the like.
3nodding

The one I use is My Fitness Pal because it has an app for phones/tablets so easy to access no matter where you are. sweatdrop
But I'm sure there are plenty of others out there.
