■ SNEAKY Morgan is quite the sneaky individual. He has a habit of disappearing and reappearing at will, and takes great pleasure on scaring people when he does this. He also has a tendency to appear in places where he isn't wanted, despite some people's desires to keep him away.
■ DECEPTIVE Morgan sees nothing wrong with lying when it suits his purposes. He has it down to an art, to the point no one knows when he's lying or when he's telling the truth. He enjoys making people guess at his intentions when they do discover his lies or his truths, since they tend to overlap at times leaving confusion in its wake.
■ MANIPULATIVE Morgan also has no problem with manipulating things to his benefit, whether it be getting ahead or obtaining something he wants. It's hard to determine his true motives when he does this, as he never says, instead covering it with a smile and a wave off as though to suggest it wasn't of much importance to him.
■ SARCASTIC Morgan uses his tongue in a mocking fashion often, when he's not lying or manipulating things. His words are often biting and ironic in tone, but sometimes in a playful fashion. He rarely if ever turns this off.
■ INTELLIGENT Morgan's quite intelligent, with a real mind for thinking and analyzing. This often helps him out with trying to get his way, and he enjoys using his intellect to succeed. Ironically, he also likes to play dumb, to let people underestimate him into thinking they can take advantage of him.
■ FRIENDLY Despite all of the above, Morgan's actually quite friendly. He doesn't mind meeting and talking to new people, and often tries to engage others he runs into. He smiles and laughs often, and is generally a nice guy, unless someone does something to annoy him.

CHILDHOOD Morgan is the eldest son of Theodore Armistead and Teresa Linwood. His mother had broken with tradition and given him her maiden name, ensuring that the family name would survive through him and his brother, much to his father's irritation. Because of this, Morgan's father, shortly after Heath's birth, divorced his mother and left, leaving Teresa to move back to her family's estate. During this time, Morgan found it easier not to mention his family troubles and instead buried his own feelings on the whole incident. He instead started getting more and more into trouble, to the point that his grandparents had to intervene when his mother could no longer control him. As a result, after age eight, he was raised by his grandparents, and while he settled down, still harbors resentment towards his mother for driving his father away. Being raised by his grandparents in this manner also meant they decided to groom him to potentially become the heir to the Linwood family. As the eldest male aside from his grandfather, he was taught as much as he could to successfully manage the family.
SCHOOL YEARS Morgan was sorted into Slytherin, and struck up a strange friendship with one of the other Slytherin males in his year, William Dante Nott III. However, there soon came a certain interesting wrinkle in their lives in school. Tay had been possessed by a demon by the name of Roi, an ancient being that attempted to destroy the school. Morgan found out about the demon, and instead of saying something, he kept it to himself, realizing he could very easily end up dead as a result. He managed to get within the 'army' that Roi was accumulating, and watched as Roi jumped from Tay to others. Morgan in the meantime started formulating his own plans, deciding this would explode quickly and messily. It did, when the being was apprehended within the body of one of his classmates Colton Raines. The school staff as well as ministry officials were directed to the being by a few well-placed rumours and tips, courtesy of Morgan, and he managed to keep Tay's involvement in the demon's activities to an absolute minimum. As a result, he watched happily as the demon was expelled from this life and that the whole business was finished.
During school, Morgan was pretty successful. He managed to get top marks in several classes, and even dated several girls during his time in school. He disliked the Head Boy in his year, Ronyo Storm, considering the intense rivalry the other boy had with his friend, Tay, due to the whole events of what occurred with Roi. It never mattered exactly what Tay did, or didn't do, as Ronyo was determined to make Tay out to be a villain. Morgan himself believed that he was, as a result, made out to be guilty by association, as he was ignored in his attempts to reverse the damage Ronyo was doing to Tay's reputation. As a result, Morgan grew to dislike his fellow housemate and actively made sure that Ronyo had a hard time. Morgan of course could not make the other boy's life easy.
POST GRADUATION Morgan managed to graduate Hogwarts and went into hunting for a job. However, he still kept in touch with his friend, even when his friend apparently joined with a dark lord. Morgan stayed out of this one, feeling as though it was yet another case of someone trying to overreach their position and fail. Thus he was unsurprised when he found out that Lord Xilan disappeared without a trace, and Tay was again left moor-less. Although, not quite, if Morgan had heard right. He himself got into cursebreaking and went searching for possible employment opportunities.

■ CONFIDENT Heath has a confidence that is borne from arrogance. He has no delusions about his abilities, but also knows that what he is good at, he is good at. He rarely if ever shows any hint of doubt about himself or his abilities.

He takes a look at things through a logical viewpoint and tries to see where the fantasies end and where reality takes a step into the picture. Not necessarily pessimistic, he always looks at the facts and decides from there about any situation.

He often decides to rush into situations without thinking them through fully, and more often than not get into trouble as a result. However, the end result is often worth it in Heath's mind, and therefore he doesn't try and curb this tendency.
■ ARROGANT Heath is very much like his Slytherin forebears in that he believes that he is above a lot of his peers. This arrogance is not just borne from a viewpoint that he's better than others, it also is borne of the fact that he is that good in some respects. As a result, he doesn't see where his flaws could be, although he knows he has them. He just figures they aren't that important.

CHILDHOOD Heath was born the youngest son of Teresa Linwood and Theodore Armistead. He never knew his father, the man having left before he could make any lasting memories of him. However, he was raised primarily by his mother, and since his brother had been sent away to be raised by their grandparents, he was treated as an only child. He was a bit of a wild child, prone to act without thinking, and got in enough trouble that his mother considered sending him off to his grandparents. However, the youngest Linwood male was not, and thus only got to see his brother over holidays. The two had a mostly cordial relationship as a result, never being especially close, but certainly knowing each other.
SCHOOL YEARS When Heath entered school, it was another matter entirely. He was ignored for the most part, which suited him just fine. He went through school, being sorted into Slytherin, and mostly ignored the antics of his fellow yearmates. He didn't see any real reason to interact with the majority of them, and when he finally graduated, it was with a sigh of relief that he was done with all of the idiots that were in the school. The only real big thing he participated in was Duelling Club, something he found he enjoyed greatly, and therefore put a lot of time and effort into. He was one of the best duellers in the club, and while he wasn't someone that generally gave advice, he nonetheless stayed out of the way when other people were giving advice to younger years.
POST GRADUATION Graduating, Heath went on to try and pursue a career in duelling, trying to become a professional in that sport. While he hasn't gained any inroads since, he however has improved his skills, and works constantly to get better all the time. He does happen to stay away from a lot of problems, considering other people's problems aren't his problems and he doesn't need to get involved with it.

■ INTELLIGENT Sybella in life was quite intelligent, and while she is no longer alive, her portrait has taken this particular trait on. She tries to learn as much as she can, and although limited, has accrued a bit of information since her painting was completed.
■ RESPONSIBLE Sybella's portrait is also quite responsible. She believes that Sybella, while rash, had a lot of ideas about things that could help change things for the better, and she tries to help out those she feels morally obligated to assist.
■ THOUGHTFUL Sybella's portrait takes quite a few things into consideration when she happens to be speaking to people. She avoids conversations that make other people uncomfortable, and tries to make those around her feel better. She has not been able to put as much work into this as she might wish, as she hasn't been hanging anywhere in the estate for a good decade or so.
■ STUBBORN As Sybella in life was stubborn, so too is her portrait. Her constant point of contention happens to be her subject's father, and she willingly butts heads with him as much as possible. Since learning of Sybella's death, she blames him for what happened to her and refuses to see it any other way.
■ SNARKY Sybella was particularly snarky, and as a portrait, she still is. She has no problem with speaking up, and won't back down from verbal spars, even tossing in a few of her own. Her intelligence also helps to come up with insults on the sly if it suits her mood, and her tongue is particularly effective in this regard.
■ PERCEPTIVE As a result of being cooped up in the family's attic for years, Sybella is now more perceptive about the goings-on around her. Whether this is something that people appreciate is not her concern, as she feels that she should know what is happening around her.

LIFETIME Sybella was the youngest child of Gabriel and Gwyneth Linwood. Born to a pureblood family, she was born after the tragic death of her brother Tyler, and never knew him as a result. However, as she was the youngest, her father doted upon her completely, and tried his best to make sure she was happy and content as a child. Being her father's favourite, however, meant that she was spoiled a bit, and as she got older, it definitely showed. She could practically get away with murder if she wanted to, and he would look the other way.
However, when she went to Hogwarts, she found that life as her father's favourite wasn't as easy as she thought it would be. Every teacher refused to give her special treatment, and she had to work hard to be considered as good as she thought she was. She was sorted into Slytherin like many in her family, but had to work to overcome her more childish nature. By fifth year, she had managed it, and stood as the prefect for Slytherin. That year was also a turning point for her, as she met a muggle boy named Gerald Hamilton, a muggle who had visited the area for holiday with his family.
SINCE PAINTING After Sybella's painting had been completed, things changed for her. No longer willing to follow along with her family's direction, she decided to try and strike out on her own. That backfired, however, as she got into more and more arguments with her father. It got to a point that during seventh year, she decided she was leaving home after she graduated. She had begun to see Gerald regularly, and by the end of seventh year, she graduated not just as one of the top of her class, but also with a proposal from the muggle she had been seeing. She accepted and left home, never to come back.
She moved in and eloped with Gerald Hamilton, shortly thereafter getting a job for the ministry. She never mentioned her magical heritage, but instead kept silent about it, even when she became pregnant and gave birth to their son, Rhys. However, part of her wished she could go back home and make amends, but knew she couldn't. Not when she was afraid that her son and husband would be discriminated against. When she turned twenty-three, she found out she was pregnant and started planning with Gerald about what they were going to do. Her eldest, Rhys, was already bright and she delighted in teaching him as much as she could. However, her life came to an abrupt end February 7, 2023, when her flat caught fire. She managed to apparate with Rhys out of the flat, but went back in to find Gerald and accidentally got stuck. She never made it out.
Since she left home, Sybella's painting had been taken down by her father when he disowned her. However, when he learned that Sybella had had a child, he decided to find out as much about his grandson as he could and rehung the portrait in his study. Her portrait, however, is not pleased with her father and doesn't generally speak to him, especially since she's heard all of the arguments that her real life self and her father had with each other.
