"Greetings Bright-Field! This is JD, and this is my take on an RP thread based on my avi's back-story. As you probably read when you clicked on this thread, the subject title had the words 'Chapter' in it. That's because the RP thread I am starting will be like reading from a book, with YOU acting as the character within the story filling it with dialog other than the main character of the story(ME). If you are willing to bear with me as I explain the difference of this RP thread from other threads:"

"The tale of 'Templarii' will be set in the Kingdom of Bright-field and the story will be non-linear aside from a few major events in the plot that is yet to be revealed depending on the number of characters(members) participating in the story.In that note, the name of the main character(ME) will be revealed as the story progresses whether if asked by a another character in the thread(s) or when I deem the situation to be right."

"Later on, when the thread has gained in popularity. Other characters(members) or even YOU can start other 'chapters' or events within the 'Templarii' storyline as long its within the websites set rules and regulations as well as the guild's of course."

"The actions/dialog of the main character(ME) of the storyline and the actions/dialog of YOUR CHARACTER within a particular 'chapter' or 'event' will influence the Main Plot of the 'Templarii' story-line in a HUGE way. Whether you decide to introduce your character now or in a later chapter is up to you. Remember, that potentially YOU can change the the outcome of certain events in the story or even decide the fate of some of its characters! Have at it Bright-Field! and let your creative juices flow!"

"And with that, the events of the first chapter of 'Templarii' will be decided by YOU. Thanks for reading all the way! Now on with the story..."

IN THIS RP YOUR CHARACTER THAT WILL BE ACTIVE IN THE STORY MUST BE YOUR ACTUAL AVATAR CHARACTER THAT IS A CITIZEN/KNIGHT/ETC. WITHIN THE GUILD. YOUR AVATAR IS YOUR ROLE-PLAY CHARACTER.

The White Vixen Alehouse

Within the vast Kingdom of Bright-Field lies a particular establishment famous for its many services offered both respectable and questionable...

The White Vixen Alehouse is arguably one of if not the most visited tavern in all of the kingdom. With it's many rooms offering the comfort of home for a stranger or two, as well as the jolly music being played, it is by all intents and purposes a wary traveler's home away from home.

Although not all is respectable within The White Vixen, as good Ale often lead to bad fights among its many patrons. Most citizens and travelers come to the said tavern to relax and enjoy the taste of its famous White Vixen Ale...if not to stay and talk about the latest gossip within the kingdom or its citizens.

Nevertheless The White Vixen Alehouse attracts locals and stranger's alike, particularly in cold rainy nights such as this one...

"Oops!...excuse me! Coming through!" The haggard looking waitress said.

Expertly maneuvering through the crowd while holding up a platter of bread and ground beef with her one hand, while holding a mug of Ale with the other, She thought it typical for the White Vixen Alehouse to be packed on a night like this one.

With the heavy rain pelting the buildings and the citizens of Bright-Field outside, most of the people have taken shelter within the said tavern to rent a room for the night or at least have a warm meal to battle the cold, wet weather.

"Aah!" the waitress said with a surprised yelp, as she nearly dodged a flying mug from somewhere to her left.

"Sorry deary! Haha..." an old man with yellowing teeth apologized jovially at the flustered looking waitress.

Still with an air of professionalism brought on by years of experience working at the White Vixen Alehouse, she walked on, dodging tables and patrons alike towards her assigned table.

'The night's still young and most of these lads are already drunk off their minds...typical.' She thought sarcastically.

Now finally reaching her table, she mustered the best smile she could despite being a little out of breathe saying, "Terribly sorry bout' that, we are a little short of hand as of late."

"Here's your beef and bread and your mug of ale" The waitress said while laying the said order gently before the lone occupant of her assigned table.

"It is quite alright miss." the customer sincerely replied.

That made the waitress give a more scrutinizing look at the customer sitting at her table. The stranger was wearing a tattered brown cloak with an equally tattered brown hood covering most of his visage. She could only see the arguably weak chin of the stranger with fair-skin and his lips showing a hint of a smile.

This man looked like he had already been in the tavern before the storm hit outside. The waitress then noticed the stranger reach into his cloak and pull out a heavy looking draw-string pouch with the unmistakable sound of coins jiggling within as the stranger simply placed it on the table before him and pushed it towards the wide-eyed waitress.

"For your troubles..." The stranger said with a more pronounced smile.

"S-Sir...I-I cannot--" She stuttered, failing to try and hide the surprise in her voice but she stopped when the stranger gently raised his hand to silence her.

"Just think that you need it more than I do dear" He said with a nod, the gentle smile never leaving his face.

"Well...I'll be right back to see if you need anything else dear, thank you and enjoy your ale!." She said while discreetly taking the heavy looking pouch filled with coins, trying to look as grateful as she could, hoping the stranger might see it in her face despite half of his face being covered by his tattered hood.

As she walked back to the bar to fill-in more orders, she can't help but think about whether or not she caught a glimpse of the man's eyes...

'They looked...crimson?' She thought as she looked back at the stranger inconspicuously eating his meal under his mysterious hood.

The waitress shook her head as she turned to go back to work, thinking it was just the shock of getting such a big tip, she smiled to herself as she felt the heavy weight of the coin filled pouch in her pocket. 'Hopefully I might finally purchase something I want in the marketplace...'

For those who might actually read this, I am officially cancelling this thread indefinitely. Since my post didn't seem to have caught on like the other RP threads in the guild, I have to end this thread and start anew.

In my wish of further enhancing the "spirit" of RP in Bright-Field, I have decided to start a new RP thread which I hope would be more appealing to guild members both new and veteran in role-play.
The new thread will be posted for sure, I just don't know when sweatdrop

Any comments, suggestions, or violent reactions for my next RP thread post will be greatly appreciated (You can reply to this thread for your suggestions/comments), inorder for me to know what you guys want and further make it better for your benefit. 3nodding
