"Skyrim, also known as the Old Kingdom or the Fatherland, was the first region of Tamriel settled by humans from the continent of Atmora the hardy, brave, warlike Nords, whose descendants still occupy this rugged land."

Hello and welcome to Skyrim of Tamriel, a medieval fantasy roleplay based on - you guessed it! - Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. Now, before you even ask, the Dragonborn is not a playable character, neither is any NPC from the game. I expect you to create an original character using one of the ten playable races from the game. Under "The People of Skyrim" it will explain further the creation of characters.
Because I personally favor the idea of freedom, and that freedom is not actually free, I have decided to take the side of the Stormcloaks. That is the reason the Dragonborn will be referred to as Stormblade. (In the Civil War Quests, once the war is won, Ulfric will tell the Dragonborn that they have earned the name Stormblade).
Stormblade is married to Camilla, one of the co-owners of the Riverwood Trader. They reside there, and Lucan has passed on. Ulfric Stormcloack is now High King of Skyrim.
Remember that Skyrim has a deep faith in the Eight Divines, so on that note religion will be part of this roleplay. If you do not agree to that, then this might not be the roleplay for you. Also remember that there was no plumbing, and food was cooked over a fire and baths were done in large wooden tubs.
I want to stay as accurate as I can to the Skyrim game. But that does not mean we can't have fun with it, and that people who can't/don't play Skyrim can't join. All the information you need is on the Elder Scrolls Wiki.
