xxxClever: Sera is clever. She is good with puzzles, but her real strength is not manipulating shapes or numbers to sort through, but people. Over her life of being expected to be in the background for being a girl, she has gained a good feel for what makes people tic and at Charms school worked to hone the skill more when among her own peers.
xxxWell-Spoken: Sera was educated in proper English and pronunciation, as well as public speaking. Not ever a particularly shy child, this education Sera uses to win over both her peers and adults often.
xxxTactical: Sera has a love for military history she picked up from reading and typical studies. She loves to read about battles such as the battle of Hogwarts and analyze how each side could have done better to win. As a result, she's not a good one to play a chess match against or even cards (if you want to win that is), and she is quite ruthless in Wizarding Chess.

Background Information: Sera is the oldest child of the only son (and child) of the second son (Wendell Johann Avery) of Robert Carlson Avery the First, the head of the Avery Clan. Her grandfather, and father, all chose to have a child quite young and in their early twenties as having an heir was expected. In her case, she was seen much as a failure in the fact she was a girl. Sera likes to point out (at least to herself) that there are far worse outcomes and fates than merely her being a girl). Her father and mother's marriage was arranged much as her grandfather's was. They were the sort of persons who found it easier to let a marriage be decided for them then to try to sort through the rather narrow options of respectable pureblood women there is in the dating pool. So, of course, when she was born it was decided that she at the very least would become a respectable pureblood woman.

Sera has attended Charms school so far before heading to Hogwarts and has in fact had a very quiet, and typical, upper-middle-class pureblood upbringing. While considering where she stands on the family tree she is far from as wealthy as some of her family members, she has lived a quite comfortable life and is happy enough, if a bit sheltered.
