Clan/Kekkei Genkai Description, History: Little is known how Shoton is created, except that it utilizes some form of Doton jutsu to create the beautiful crystals that make up every jutsu used. Many of the uses prided themselves in their resistance to taijutsu, and the beauty that came with their creations. More and more people who were able to use shoton began to push the limits of the jutsu, reaching for better and better properties and stronger cystal. This pushing gave birth to the Kogane korandamu Shōton, crystal made out of an exceptional golden crystal called Corundum. The crystal had a higher strength, higher luster, and even higher abrasiveness than that of the previous crystal used for Shoton.
Quickly the popularity of this side of the jutsu rose. Many people began to want to lean how to utilize the stage of shoton, and many began to fear it as well. Many, many years of training in Shoton will allow a person to utilize this extremely hard crystal. However, rarely anyone ever reaches this stage, as the training is hard, and takes such a long time.
Strengths:
• High resistance to taijutsu ( Taijutsu goes down three ranks in damage )
• Are usually very quick ( +1 speed )
• The crystal forming their jutsu is Corundum, which has a hardness of 9, giving it an almost diamond like quality.
• Kogane korandamu Shōton crystals have a subadamantine lustre, making it very reflective
• Corundum has a melting point of 2044 °C, making it very fire resistant
Weaknesses:
• Vulnerable to Sound Jutsu as it stops the crystals from forming
• Cannot crystallize plasma or wind. ( Fire, lightning, and wind type jutsu )
• Cannot immediately crystallize living, moving, animate objects such as animals or humans.
Rules and Requirements:
• Can only have the doton element as a chakra nature
• Must be Taijutsu, Single element, Bloodline, or Bukijutsu class
• Must go through rigorous training in order to progress from the normal Shoton bloodline [ must have been in at least five exhasting or life threatening battles and train your bloodline for 20 posts ]
• Must be at least Jounin rank
• You must APPLY for this
• Must, of course, be part of the Shoton bloodline

Description: The user stops their feet on the ground, sending their golden crystals shooting out in a wave out of the ground in huge spikes that are at least 40 feet in height and are super sharp. Even begin grazed by this technique will result in gashes.
Range: Wave = 30 ft, spikes = 40 ft in height

Description: After managing to get some of the user's crystal inside the opponent's body some how, the user slowly begins to crystallize the enemy's blood in till it begins to reach and crystallize flesh. Unless seen to medically or the user is knocked out, this can become a very deadly technique very quick. Rate of spread is 4 inches per post.
