 The skies darken as a creature descends, made out of pure shadows. Slowly, it unfurls its wings, and you can't help but take a step back as it screeches, standing in all its majesty.

gaia_crown Frenzy Yes. Start a counter in your battle log form. For each turn you take, add one. When you hit ten you will AUTOMATICALLY DIE UNLESS YOU HAVE A NULBERRY in your inventory you won from a previous battle. To use the nulberry, simply quote it on the turn you want to use it. This will permanently clear you of frenzy status. You can use it on the first turn or ninth turn, it doesn't matter, but it takes up a turn (you take auto damage while using it). Everyone in your party has to take their own (ie: you can't use it on others/share it/give it away).

After a nice long rest Camilla was back and ready for battle! However this time she was being much more careful then the first time... As she enters the arena she keeps her eyes open and looks all around to make sure she wouldn't be sneak attacked! What Camilla wasn't counting on was a HUGE draconic Shadowling to land hard on the ground in front of her! "Whoa wha!?" she exclaims in surprise as the huge dragon unfurls it's great wings then roars it's challenge! "Wow..." she says in awe it was really all she could say at the moment... However! She didn't have long to admire it's dark but majestic presence because it decided it was battle time! With speed unexpected of something so large it slashes out with it's massive claws "Eep!" she squeaks and jumps back! Unfortunately she didn't move fast enough and it's claws just graze her chest sending slightly pain through her but nothing serious! The force however makes her stumble back and for a moment she looks over the creature trying to find it's weak point... When she couldn't find a obvious one other then it's wings she decides the best way to find out would just to attack! With a nod she quickly draws her Buyou Rouzu however this time she draws her Rapier instead of her Main Gauche! Camilla hoped the Rapier would lend extra strength to her attacks and extra reach... She still hadn't practiced this combo and it was awkward but she just had to go for it! The Wyvern was watching her carefully and it roars as she suddenly dashes at it! When she was close enough she leaps up and forwards while whirling around to add momentum to her Bokken a move she had used on the shadow bird to good effect! And good effect it had! The blade tears across the Wyvern's wing causing it to roar out in pain but she wasn't done yet! The moment she lands solidly on her feet she stabs out with her Rapier into the beast's side causing it to wail with anger! The Wyvern was angered by the effectiveness of her strikes! It hadn't expected her to be worth anything and now she was hurting it! Angrily it whips out it's tail towards Camilla! She had expected something from the claws not the tail so she wasn't prepared for it! However she does see the tail last second and is able to move just enough out of the way to take a fair smack on the shoulder! The force of it spins her around and makes her lose her balance! Fortunately she rights herself in time to keep from falling! Now it was her turn! While the tail was still swinging around her she lunges at it with both blades to stab in unison at it's tail! The Wyvern roars angrily and lumbers away a bit to get some distance before facing Camilla again! The battle was starting to take a really serious swing as the Wyvern got angrier and angrier! Suddenly it roars and starts to admit a strange noxious black aura! "Wha!?" she exclaims as she covers her mouth! the Aura reeked with power strong and dominating! And the aura was having a strange effect on her! She was starting to feel worked up as a grain of worry seeded itself in her mind! Unfortunately she was so focused on the sudden aura that she didn't see the claws coming her way until she felt the pain in her shoulder! "Ugh!" she yelps more out of surprised then pain as she stumbles back while now holding her shoulder! The wound was shallow she could feel it but it still hurt... The grain of worry lingered demandingly in her mind but she quickly pushes it away with a shake of her head! Now she was more focused and needed to attack! Something told her she didn't have long to get this Wyvern down now and so she had to strike her hardest! It was with that in mind that she races towards the Wyvern! It roars and swings at her trying to end her assault but she wouldn't give up that easily! She slides to a stop barely avoiding the claws before swiftly dashing around the large fist to stab at it's chest with her bokken! It roars in pain and rears back which was a huge mistake! Now it's belly was exposed and that's where she'd really do the damage! Wasting no time she lunges forwards and slashes at it's belly with Buyou Rouzu in a figure eight before stabbing it with her Rapier! She was doing good! She just had to keep it up! The Wyvern hadn't been expecting it's belly to be attacked and it roars it's fury while reeling back! To Camilla's amazement it lost it's balance and fell onto it's back! Unfortunately it was angry and panicking now and beginning to flail amount! Limbs were flailing everywhere and Camilla couldn't get out of the area fast enough to avoid the tail! It clips her side pretty good sending her stumbling to the left but that wasn't going to stop her! She had a perfect opening now and was going to take it! Swiftly she sheaths her Rapier and puts both hands on her Bokken's hilt before running over to the Wyvern's exposed side and running along it with her blade dragging across it's ribs! It's roars in pain and begins flailing more! Camilla had gotten so wrapped up in the thrill of the battle that she lost track of the Wyvern's limbs as she ran! The dark aura it was putting out wasn't helping either! Both these things combined resulted in her high damage streak being broken! She had just finished running along the Wyvern's side when a clawed hand heads right for her! She didn't have time to avoid it and it smacks her pretty hard and knocks her flat on her back! She had been completely unprepared for that surprise strike and now found herself on HER back next to the flailing Wyvern! She needed to get away from it! If it rolled over on her it'd crush her! Also being this close to the Wyvern's aura was starting to make her feel sick... The aura also seemed to be getting stronger with each passing turn and a knot of dread was beginning to form in her stomach... Desperately Camilla rolls over onto her side and stands up! Some how in her mad dash to get up she had swung out and clipped the Wyvern's side with her Buyou Rouzu! This did not make the already furious Wyvern happy and so Camilla wasted little time in booking it a good distance away! Finally the Wyvern manages to get on it's side! It glares at Camilla with Malicious intent before purposefully swinging it's tail at her! By this point Camilla was feeling pretty bad... Every wound she had sustained was starting to throb painfully almost like... No... Could it's aura cause... THAT... Sickness...? Unfortunately because she was wondering about the aura she wasn't watching the Wyvern! The tail came as quite a surprise and if it wasn't for the fact that she'd been holding her Bokken with both hands she wouldn't have done any damage at all! Some how she had turn at just the right moment to have her blade get wedged between her and the oncoming tail! Because of this as the Wyvern's tail hits her and sends her skidding back it also cuts itself! "Owie..." she pouts a bit from on her back where she landed... The battle was reaching it's boiling point as the Wyvern finally gets to it's feet and roars it's fury! It's Aura intensifies in that moment and Camilla could feel it now! Her wounds began to throb more sharpy and soon hot/cold spells began to hit her! She had a fever! If she didn't end this battle soon she'd be done for! After getting up as quickly as she could Camilla faces the Wyvern they stare at each other for a long moment before she moves! Dashing forwards she ducks under a swip made towards her before leaping in the air! She whirls around and slashes with her Bokken before landing and stabbing with her freshly drawn Main Gauche! Her blades rake across the the Wyvern's chest and belly causing it to roar in pain! However Camilla wouldn't get off that easily! Before she could move another clawed hand would swip out at her and send her flying a good ways causing her to land hard on her side! For a long moment Camilla just laid on her side... The Aura increased again until the Wyvern was now mostly covered in shadows and she could feel it! Her wounds burned, her stomach now churned angrily, and her fever worsened to the point of making her dizzy! She was in trouble! Major trouble! This had to be the last round! Because if it wasn't if the Wyvern's aura incased again... She'd be done for! Slowly Camilla picks herself up off the ground... Her balance was off because of the dizziness and she looked to be on her last legs... The Wyvern gives a sort of chortling roar as if it were claiming victory before crouching down... This was her last short her last... Her focus was going... She was starting to see two of the Wyvern then three... She wanted to just lay down and... No! No! She had to focus! If she couldn't beat this thing there's no way she could help save the world! Quickly she shakes her head to regain her focus and it was at that moment that the Wyvern decides to strike! It lunges forwards fangs bared ready to chomp her to bits! "Eek!" she yelps as the gleaming black fangs headed her way shook her into focusing! She reacted instinctively more then anything as she brings her Main Gauche forwards to deflect while dodging to the side! Unfortunately this was the head of a huge Wyvern not some sword! Because of this her Main Gauche did nothing and her action only resulted in a large fang running down her arm! "A-ack!" she yelps but now she had a oppotunity she couldn't miss! As the Wyvern's head and neck passes by Camilla leaps onto it's neck and stabs her Buyou Rouzu into the back of the Wyvern's head! Unfortunately it was particularly armored there and the blade only went in so far... However! It seemed like it was enough! The Wyvern roars violently in pain before tossing it's head around! This causes Camilla to go flying and she lands with a sound thud some distance away! Mean while the Wyvern continues to flail about while backing up before finally facing towards the sky and roaring to the heavens as if to ask how it could have been defeated! Eventually however it lingers with it's head facing the sky before it slowly starts to dissolve! Finally at long last it's leg give and it crashes to the ground with a earth shaking thud before fading away in a black cloud of smoke... While the Wyvern roared it's defiance towards death Camilla just laid where she'd landed unsure if she could even get up... She was sick... royally sick! And weaking further by the second! However as the mighty beast finally gives in to death's call and collapses Camilla's sickness mysteriously disappears!
"H-huh?!" she mumbles in surprise as she suddenly felt fine! Sure she was battered and bruised but the sickness was gone! No throbbing ache, no fever or roiling stomach, Nothing! Slowly she gets up confused but happy and after checking herself over deemed herself fit to walk back to the lake... First however... Something caught her eye! Something small and round and blue sitting right where the Wyvern's corpse had been... Tired but curious Camilla goes over to the small round object and to her surprise finds it was a berry of all things! "A berry? Hm... I wonder what it does...? If this big beastie dropped it however I better keep it!" She says cheerfully before tucking the berry away in her Tabard!
Now it was time got a good LONG soak in the lake then dinner and bed... she was done... she was just done for the day... But as she walks back towards the lake she couldn't help but wear a proud smile... She beat a Wyvern... All by herself! Maybe she was fit to help save the world after all!
