Personality: Sweet and caring, Melanie holds dearly almost every living being. Yet sometimes she's a little strict. Especially on herself.
Melanie is catalogued as a tsundere.
Under the execution of the Devil Engine Melanie becomes ruthless and sadistic. Which happens when she's exposed to a large amount of madness
History:
Melanie grew happily on her home, everything was okay until her weapon powers awakened. Being able to transform into a sharp object, and a ballistic knife while at it. It was safe to say that her days at the medical school were over.
Now at DMWA, Melanie studies and works as the Nurse's assistant.
It took her quite a while to find her first partner, especially since she wasn't looking forward to even become a useful weapon.
Under the Nurse Mortem's recomendation, she joined a young girl, Aseki Kyosai. However, their days of companionship were brief as shortly after, Divine attacked the city, taking over the place.
Wounded during the evacuation, Melanie was in bed during the entire time. It wasn't until the whole ordeal was over that she woke up from her comatose state.
Only to find out her dear partner was missing in action. She felt terrible. She was her first partner. She fell onto depression. Enough to even attempt suicide, which was frustrated by Carmen Laurell.
With time, and Therapy, she apparently went over through it, thanks to Carmen's support and Eventually found a partner in Illo, the monk.
During her many travels with the monk, they stumbled upon a Devil machine right after Illo fed her a Demon soul.
Knowing the delicate nature of the knife, the Devil machine guided them to pick a new nature. Which she kept a secret from the monk. The butterfly knife.
She's currently Living with Eva, Misty and Zoey. Even tho she has an apartment of her own.

----Abilities and Techniques Information----
Blade form / Resurgence
- Melanie is able to transform her limbers, fingers and extremities into knife heads, all of them functional to be shot.
As well, she is able to warp wherever she places a knife head. This gives her mobility during battle.
Galva knunkle / Defibrilator Strike
- She is able to perform something similar to Soul Menace. Yet the power increases when performed with a meister.
Internal hemorrhage
- While her strikes aren't as strong as conventional weapons. She is able to deal true damage into the opponents soul. Meaning that perhaps their bodies would be able to sustain the damage she does, but her soul would not.
This allows her to tire out her opponent should they lower their guard on her.
This is stated upon damage dealt. If the oponent blocks the blades, nothing would happen.
Butterfly Wings / Bring me back to life.
- Charged with her own wavelength, she gains enhanced speed, resitance to pain, and her blades become as flexible as that of a butterfly knife.
