When Yvus was younger, he was obsessed with Music but his parents disapproved of it for their family already had musicians, so he was forced to give it up. In order to fill in the newly made gap he turned to another form of art but even then it wasn't enough to keep him entertained and cheerful. His parents were having issues at the time, being transported to one or the other every other week, letting him see them both struggle; His father, Tristan, couldn't hold a good job because he never went to collage and his mother, Denise, did numerous things she wasn't proud of right before him, just to take care of him... This went on until he was around seven, now having a friendly and upbeat attitude to help cheer everyone one no matter how much he was hurting inside. Yet even then, his parents eventually broke ties and he was cast onto his Step Brother in who he simply called his BROTHER (7 years old).
❤His sibling was very strict and protective of him for two reasons; Yvus looked overly feminine so he had to look out for other guys AND he was very clingy towards anyone. Raymond still remembers all the times a random person started to shift away with Yvus, not even noticing because he was spacing out! Besides being strict, he was actually sweet, always giving Yvus most of his attention, playing games with him and even letting him go back to music. Yvus wishes it lasted a little longer but sometime after that, his brother became interested in finding a lover so Yvus slowly slid away into the background (9 years old).
❤His brother eventually got tired of looking and played with his brother again (no dirty thoughts, you), over time they got inseparable and then they eventually fell upon a thought. The step brother's being, "Could I be gay? Do I like my step brother?!" while Yvus's was just one, "What do I like about him?" They ignored eachother until they felt like something was dying inside, the frustration of the situation, the truth they wanted to avoid. (13 years old) A few months later his sibling suddenly came up to him and expressed how he felt about it all, telling him how serious their RELATIONSHIP was since he was still an adolescent and how closely he had been watching him.
❤Feeling that his brother was mature now, his step brother began to date him although it felt very awkward at the start. Each conversation was stiff and full of blushing until they thought about how other couples were. They were just... THEM. The two loosened and got even tighter than before until Yvus got out of High School, severing their connection due to living on campus at his new College. Only a few months in, Yvus had been put in the hospital from feeling so week. At first it was like normal exhaustion but it got to the point he could barely flick his wrist or even twitch. The next day he was dead, only seven souls in the room yet two couldn't be seen.
❤When they took him to his body to get it incinerated, it was then stolen by a masked woman and man. The news of such never reached Raymond, from worry of being late to the ceremony he began to speed and caused a serious car accident. Sadly he was killed on impact but his body was later retrieved just like Yvus's. His brother was dead yet somehow the one of pink hair was revived, alive only to endure the serious pain of being skinned like a fox, to watch the pain of other creatures. To the side was a cage of tiny beings, at first he thought they were born that way but that though was quickly eliminated when he heard high pitched screeches. So small yet so loud, such a small part yet so many pieces, watching the bone get ripped out of their back and thrown into a rock bowl. Watching as it was turned into fine dust then thread. The rest is nearly all a blur to him now, even calling back on such an even makes his head ring. In the corner of the dull colored room was the skin of an elf, so pale and smooth... He was starting to black out from blood loss, the last few things he experienced was the sight of a straw doll and the sound of his Step Brother's voice... Yvus picked up school again yet stayed low and tried to change subjects when his death was brought up. Once he finished college he then broke ties with all he knew, even his own lover in fear they would find out that he was a mere "Doll". The last few months made him very tense for they kept getting closer to the truth and with that, their curiosity grew.
❤Yvus is a bubbly and energetic soul, often coming off as clingy but when his past is brought up, he starts to shake and become violent. In his free time, he works on his second talent, baking. He doesn't like to share his sweets but will share those he buys from stores. If he does share his home made sweets then he either likes you or he's drowned it in alcohol so he can make advances sometime in the near future. He does share a body with Raymond so if he happens to suddenly become cold, blunt or intimidating then they probably swapped out.
❤Despite being an immortal of some sort himself, he hunts immortals that wish to cause harm to innocent people, his abnormal strength and heightened senses proving to be of great use. The pay is almost always good, it keeps him fit and it helps the two souls sync even more.
