Personally, I think it was Dookie, by Green Day. That album helped bring along the punk resurrection, plus, it just rocks anyway.

Wow. Green Day, Weezer, Tool? You people have no idea what you're talking about.

Radiohead's OK Computer is easily to most important album of the 90's.

I completely disagree. That album was good. It had Longview on it. But the best of the new "punk resurrection" is NoFX, which isn't really that good. I believe that the most important album of the 90s is Nevermind by Nirvana. It had the song "Smells Like Teen Spirit" on it, which was one of the most popular songs of the 90s, and it incorporates aspects of generic rock, grunge, AND punk. I don't know a single band that hasn't played a Nirvana song. The reason is because of their range of influence. I'm not just stating this album because of the song S.L.T.S. If you've tried to listen to Nevermind straight through but found yourself not making it past "In Bloom," I would encourage you to take some time and really listen to it. It's a terrific album.

OK Computer by Radiohead was also an important album, I forgot to mention.

The Bends was a lot better than OK Computer. But OK Computer was nore important as it has been called the best album in the past 20 years by BBC. These are some of my pics.

Radiohead - OK Computer
The Smashing Pumpkins - Siamese Dream
Radiohead - The Bends
Nirvana - Nevermind (Even though I don't really like this album, I gotta admit it was important)

Well, Cracked Rear View by Hootie and the Blowfish probably had the largest impact on me, along with Stunt by Bare Naked Ladies.
