Nerding Out - Her favorite is Firefly/Serenity, but she fully enjoys pretty much anything Joss Whedon ever touched. She's also a big fan of Supernatural and Charmed and anything science fiction. When it comes to books, her favorite series is the Dragonriders of Pern by Anne McCaffrey. She might be 21, but she's really just a big kid when it comes to her fandoms. She can get pretty passionate about this stuff. She's got several posters on her bedroom walls in her parents' place, and several more taped on the wall of her dorm.

Writing - She feels "if they can do it, why can't I?" So she's been slowly compiling her own science fiction universe and writing short stories about it. She's very secretive about it and doesn't tell very many people. If she shows it to anyone, it's her twin brother Chase and other people she trusts implicitly. She also loves spinning tales about anything that might catch her fancy, and enjoys writing short stories based on some of her favorite songs.

Virtues:

No Nonsense - Charity will not take any of your bullshit, kthx. She can't abide liars and has no problem telling people about themselves if she feels they're being fake or lying about things. She holds herself to a high standard and expects the same of the people she interacts with on a daily basis. She can come off as blunt, but she tries to moderate her tone so she doesn't come off as bitchy. She doesn't really want to upset people, especially her friends, so if she feels the need to call bull on someone she'll try to do it in a private setting. She'd rather be friendly than confrontational, but as stated, if she has to be confrontational she'd rather do it privately. She'll wait if she has to. Sometimes, if she's particularly upset, she can and has been known to confront someone in front of people. Especially if the person won't be reasonable.

Amiable - She's a friendly kind of person. She can get along with just about everyone. If she comes across someone she can't get along with, she tends to avoid hanging around them. If she can't avoid being around someone she can't get along with (IE, school/work situations), she can be civil. It involves a lot of biting her tongue to avoid letting some of her more smartass comments fly, but she manages. She isn't really judgmental, but she has been known to bear grudges against people if they constantly lie to her. It doesn't mean she can still be friendly with them, she just doesn't trust them anymore.

Flaws:

Obsessive - She has periods of being obsessed with things, and the only thing that has survived for most of her life is her love of science fiction. Once she finds something she's interested in, she wants to learn everything she can about it and can annoy the hell out of her friends talking about it. Non stop. If she's told to stop, she will. She doesn't usually get obsessive about people (well, aside from people in movies/shows she loves). However, I could see her curiousity getting piqued by someone who consistently lies to her and other people, possibly another powered individual trying to hide it?

Easily Distracted - Charity is the kind of person who can be talking about one thing and then something shiny catches her eye and she just stops talking. She can be restarted again, though she may need to be reminded what she was talking about. On the other hand, if something occurs to her in the middle of talking about one thing, she can change the subject on a dime. Meanwhile, everyone else is left looking at her wondering what she's talking about. The only person who seems to understand when these subject changes occur is her twin brother, Chase. She can also be distracted from wanting to confront someone about a lie or something. She'll forget for a while, but eventually she'll remember.

With her personality traits- namely, in being no nonsense and yet amiable, how would she deal with the fact she is confrontational, an aspect that runs fairly counter to a typical amiable person? Basically, if she has no problem in telling people how she really feels how then could she at the same time, be willing to bite her tongue as it were. I get the concept, but think as they're written now, they could do with a bit or further elaboration to work more cohesively. How would the aspects become something to be held against her? such as, is she judgmental? Grudge bearing?
Along side this are the flaws, while both obsessive and easily distracted are good negative aspects, how do they relate to her more positive ones, and work in tandem with them. How do they act to balance her?

As for her knight side, I am fairly certain a plastic shield wouldn't fly for a starting knight weapon since it's not timeless. I would suggest more that her starting weapon be the simple wooden shield or something like a barrel lid. Thick, wooden and simple, it would start her off with a fairly heavier sided weapon that is slightly more practical. A wooden shield can still be broken with enough impact, but it's weight would better prepare her for her later weapons!
At squire, the wooden shield can become reenforced with metal, become more decorated, and then at knight, having already trained using the heavy wooden shields, having a metal one would be much easier for her to adapt to, and allow a bit more ornate of a design without to much of a vast design gap.
