Because the game attacked me last night and demanded it get its own music topic. I swear!

Barbatos came out of the TV and has his axe right behind me right now, and he's about to kill me for listening to "Awkward Justice" (TotA) instead of "Coup de Grace"!(ToD2)

They're in...

-The Dreadnought
-Coup de Grace (DUH)
-Vive Memor Mortis
-You'd THINK they're in Wheel of Fortune, but they're not, go Distortion Guitar
-A Resolution
(Battle themes anyways)
Basically, they sound like demonic instruments, and are USUALLY used for just making a repetitive sound every now and then for the demonic-touch... but Tamura and Sakuraba had a little more fun with them. Orchestra hits are the MELODY in quite a few songs in Destiny 2.

Dude..

I just listened to Coup De Grace.

One word, Two syllables, six letters: Insane.

It's fast, insane, and just seems to shout out that "IM AN UNDEFEATABLE BOSS!!!" Plus, it has that totally awesome dominant instrument (I forgot what it's called. I'm not too good with instruments sweatdrop ) in the background that precided mostly in Destiny.

It's the loudest sound in Coup De Grace, and the song kinda starts with it. It kinda makes a "BAM BAM!" sound.

I've heard people say it sounds too synthesized... but that's part of why I love it. biggrin

So I take it it's int he main melody then, right? That'd be the orchestra hit.

As for the other "BAM", it's done with drums. If you ever get a chance to play Destiny 2, you'd have a lot of fun in it's sound test. It actually SHOWS the music being played (On keyboards) and what instruments they are. So Coup de Grace's set up...

Also, randomly, the grade nines at my school played a song titled "Dona Novis Pacem" in band. Though not the same song of course. O..o;

I really should Replay ToD2..the song was Vive Memor something I think. gonk
