I have moved so many times in Korea because of public school cuts and those are the best jobs to have for so many reasons. (I did a private academy for 6 months and it drained so much from me...) But if any of you are curious, this is my current apartment in Uijeongbu, South Korea!

Nice! Looks like it has everything you need and is done well so it still feels like there's space even in a compact area.

What an adventure... as much as I love traveling, moving to South Korea would feel pretty scary to me! But I guess you've been there for a few years already, haven't you? Jeeze time does fly!

Have you done much travelling outside the country? I suppose if you've moved so many times, you've seen plenty of South Korea itself xp

I haven't done as much traveling as I would have liked.... mostly because it has been hard to find a good traveling partner (some countries I would feel a lot better to do with a friend) and my friends in private schools our vacations never line up well. I have been to Japan twice for short visits, I think I am going to go for a week in September. Australia my first year here, this winter I may try Taiwan, start knocking places off my list. Or Jeju-do (a Korea island far south).

I do need to leave Seoul more though. I have always lived within an hour of Seoul. I understand more Korean then I can speak, but I got some basics down like ordering, telling a taxi where to go and post man to leave packages in the guard room. I want to take lessons but finding somewhere good and with my schedule is difficult. But happy!

Yeah, I can understand that! Traveling alone is not always feasible. It sounds like you have done quite a bit though, certainly more that the average gal has seen! Hopefully you can cross more places off the list in the years to come.

Good for you for speaking any Korean at all, it can't be easy!
